What a refreshing surprise to see someone make something on a woodworking channel nowadays. I came here wondering how much it would cost and which company makes it and could I possibly afford it. Most of the time, I cannot. To find out it is accessible to those of us who cannot afford to buy all of the sponsored stuff most seem to be selling on their channels nowadays, because we can build it ourselves, is awesome. Thank you for this video.

I think the problem is that RUclips needs more search options. It will show you all the videos that have hundreds of thousands of views but what you really want it sitting in RUclips with only 50 views and so it never gets recommended to you.

John, while I'd never give up my table saw, seeing you be able to nail a jig to your table saw like that made me think about a plywood topper for jigs like this... maybe easy to make rectangular plywood zero clearance plates. Came for a sanding block but got a totally different idea. Thanks!

The use of a body camera works well. Gets us up and close and personal to the wood and you don't have to spend time setting up the camera on a tripod and getting the right angle.

Great build John. I am always amazed at how your mind works. There doesn't seem to be an obstacle you are not able to come up with an engineered solution. I do love the Abranet. I started using the rectangles for my lathe work, and only recently saw them in disks. I use them on my 90, 125 and 150mm Festool sanders. It does load up the Velcro with dust over time, but a quick shot of compressed air takes care of it. The extra dust load is far less damaging that running the sander with just the Velcro backing (I've heard. Surely I would never be that stupid).
