I would put Deshaun Watson at 1 because his contract is fully guaranteed and he's yet to actually finish a season with the Browns. The Browns would love to get rid off his contract but can't. Kirk Cousins might be # 2 as he just got benched and the Falcons might cut him by the end is the season. The Vikings, other than 2022, are also doing much better with Sam Darnold than they've ever done with Cousins. Cousins winning percentage of 52.8% doesn't scream elite paid QB. At least Prescott has won 10 or more games 4 times while Cousins has only done it twice. Andrew Luck won 10 games or more in every season he was healthy and he had the Colts awful roster.
@saysoun752 Hard to argue with that. It's the throwing into double coverage time and time again that didn't get picked off that bothers me about Dak. Jerry Jones has been confused for 29 years, there's nothing different about that. What Jerry doesn't have the guts to do is hire a real GM because him and Stephen together, don't make one good Football GM.
Dak: I've always stated that about Dak Prescott, he's just a back-up QB who kept the game basic, didn't do too much, just kept the ship solid -- that's what he was good at early on .... Over the years, we see into last year, he cannot elevate a team to win in the playoffs with his skills and abilities, he literally crumbles ... he'll play just well enough to lose and if the game is out of reach, he'll stat-bad to make the game look closer than it was originally. His time is over, he's good at fleecing money out of Jones, that's it, but he needs to move on and he'll be a better QB in another uniform.

@@RyTrapp0 Just go look at him in the playoffs -- that's Dak .... Look at him this season, that's Dak. The results speak for themselves, he cannot get the best out of his team offensively with his skill-set ... he just cannot do it because he has NOT done it. If I have to 'believe' in a guy, that mean he hasn't shown me the end result of maximizing his abilities and using his abilities to help his team WIN. So perhaps Dak has shown us his best and now it's over -- he got his money, he can get out ... truth is had the Cowboys started the season with Rush they'd be in route to a playoff birth right now. All Dallas needed was someone solid at QB who wouldn't ruin the game or take the life out of drives because he couldn't throw the ball accurately -- the guy is a back-up and he crumbles under pressure -- he's more in love with the narrative/media than actually winning. The proof is in what he's done, he's had enough time to improve, you saw Sam Darnold improve, why can't Dak?
Dallas had a huge offensive line issue for most of the season. Tyler Guyten getting injured was what needed to happen. Bass and the other lineman are playing much better than what was there.
He’s a greedy overpaid, average quarterback. Just think how many good quality players you could put around at Cooper Rush for what you’re paying Dak Prescott.
Very well said in regards to Cooper Rush being "Easier to Pull to victory". Watching Dak Prescott's games this season, I wasn't able to process how bad he was playing and now I can't unsee it. It's almost hard to believe it continued for 7.75 games, he should have been benched well before that. It was Redzone interceptions, refusing to scramble even when the lanes were wide open (the pre-leg injury Dak used to kill defenses with his timely scrambles), and constantly looking like he had seen a ghost. It was some of the worst QB play I've seen by a Dallas Cowboys starting QB who actually came into the season as the starter, with every drop back it looked he was carrying the weight of the team on his shoulders. When he went down (I do not wish injury on anyone), the cloud he had cast over the team finally started to go away, and we actually started to see how good this roster is, especially at the linebacker position. Cooper Rush is not concerned with stats or looking cool or anything other than protecting the football and getting it to playmakers. He has 1-2 plays a game where you see his limitations, and yet he makes sure every drive ends in a kick. Jerry Jones we don't care about your "investment", do what's right for the team.
I was a massive fan of Dak his first year or two, and then he utterly stopped improving from my perspective. I've said for several years now that he is not the QB that will lead the Cowboys to the promised land......... just like their coach, GM, and owner.
You guys just don't know football look at the other top q b's in the league and look at who the coach and offensive coordinator is and then tell us who the Cowboys have had through Dak career, It's nothing but guys who went directly to the TV desk after the cowboys or who were on the couch and no one was calling them before they went to the cowboys
If you knew football you'd know that he was trash, and was always going to be trash. He lacked alot of skills that should have been picked up in high school even.
@DangleSan dak is the worst qb in nfl history at reading, at timing, and at arm strength, when he throws it as hard as he can, it goes like 35 yards. His accuracy is below average, and he can only throw very basic high school level passes. Nothing you stated changes these facts.
The thing the fans don’t know is the same things the know nothing know it all experts do not understand and what Jerry Jones has never learned is that for a QB to be successful, it helps to have a good solid OL. Although Dallas might not have run well against Tampa, a good running game always helps the passing game, and the key to the running game is to have three strong run blocking interior OL of the center and two guards. Once you can establish the run, then you run play action and even take shots downfield. Likewise, on defense you need a strong run stopping interior of the DL and terrific run blocking ILB. If you can force a team to pass, then you can pressure the QB and/ or drop linebackers into the flats and use the safeties to allow cornerbacks to jump patterns.
In his years with the Cowboys Cooper Rush is 9-4 as a starter in place of Dak. I notice the offense plays better under Cooper because the guy is calm, cool and collected no matter what and Dak is the exact opposite.
Dak is better than Cooper, but not $57 million dollars better. Not 20X better. Dak is Tony Romo part 2. He will win you plenty of regular season games then disappear in the playoffs. 2 playoff wins in a 8 year career and you decide to make Dak the highest paid playerin NFL history?
yup these bandwagon fans don't watch film and actually see what was going on. The offense still aint much better than it was, its the defense that has won these games
Y'all have to remember that Rush did this a couple of seasons ago when Dak went down. Im saying that Cooper is better than Dak I said it then. I am a cowboys fan and we will not advance with Dak.
This aint the first time Coop has done this..remember when Dak had the foot injury. Jerry Jones shoulda remembered that when it was time to extend Dak.. Besides, what does 'better' mean anyway? If the game manager gets me more wins, Ima roll with him till he proves otherwise...
That Dak contract was abysmal. The Zeke contract was abysmal. The D-Law and Diggs contracts are abysmal. I was stunned when CeeDee finally got his. The only other contract that should be done is Micah, but that's in limbo and may not happen m There's a constant level of fail here and it goes by JJ.

60 mil vs 3 mil. I don't see a 57 million $ difference. Sorry, just not seeing it. How many FA upgrades would $57 million assist with?
Idk, Derrick Henry maybe?
Dak is serviceable but nowhere near to be the highest paid player
😅 A good number of Cowboys fans thought like me. Don’t pay Dak. Pay Lamb and Micah. Save a lot of money and win another way. Too late now
Jerry is the new Al Davis
They were actually good friends lol
Dak has always been a garbage time MVP.
Cooper Rush may not be better than Dak, but he's not worse either.
I've always said paying Dak big money is dumb, even before his 1st contract. The fact that Dallas made him the highest paid player in the NFL is crazy! Dallas have no chance, going forward, of playoff success.
Thank you, Jason. Finally, someone with a voice speaking the truth.
Are there people without a voice that speaks the truth?
What about kirk cousins
Thank you Jason for saying this. I’ve been arguing with fellow Cowboys fans about this all day. This emotional attachment to Dak is ridiculous.
I need to find a job where i can be mediocre and still get payed 60 milli a year 😂
As long as the Jones family owns the Cowboys ...........................sigh.
the family that had the second best record in the NFL since 2020 coming into this season
@@annierushing4796hahahahahaha
Jerry Jones has been confused for 29 years, there's nothing different about that. What Jerry doesn't have the guts to do is hire a real GM because him and Stephen together, don't make one good Football GM.
I believe the Cowboys offense really fits Cooper Rush. It takes a certain quarterback to lead a team. I believe it's Cooper Rush.
🛑
Finished 2nd in MVP voting last year and led the NFL in most passing categories. You folks should learn some football. Really.
@@RichardCaldwell-fk3hn It's hilarious, isn't it? They just literally deny reality.
"he'll stat-bad to make the game look closer than it was originally"

23 Game Winning Drives and 15 4th Quarter Comebacks - oh, but, if any of those were a loss, they would've just been sTaT pAdDiNg lmfao
Thanks for sharing, I enjoy your content. Merry Xmas.
I knew Jerry Jones didnt know what he was doing when he paid Dak that money.
Accuracy matters in the NFL...Dak is not accurate.
yes, he is
His accurate when it doesn’t matter
@@TxCen5432 Every pass matters bro. You can't pick and choose what matters.

@@annierushing4796 when it comes time to win the game, he is not accurate. The times that matter
Jerry Jones always over pay players. Nothing new
Very well said in regards to Cooper Rush being "Easier to Pull to victory".
That because he was surrounded by pro bowlers 🤷🏻♂️
You guys just don't know football look at the other top q b's in the league and look at who the coach and offensive coordinator is and then tell us who the Cowboys have had through Dak career, It's nothing but guys who went directly to the TV desk after the cowboys or who were on the couch and no one was calling them before they went to the cowboys
If you knew football you'd know that he was trash, and was always going to be trash. He lacked alot of skills that should have been picked up in high school even.
@@arturocarranza9387 not just pro bowlers but 6 all pros on offense alone.
Cousins can ball. Def taking him over Dak idc
In his years with the Cowboys Cooper Rush is 9-4 as a starter in place of Dak. I notice the offense plays better under Cooper because the guy is calm, cool and collected no matter what and Dak is the exact opposite.
Dak is the best QB in the NFL!! At getting paid
Dat Prescott is not the franchise quarterback. We need find a way to move on from Dak.
all pro mvp runner up isnt a franchise qb?????? you dont know football.
We can’t ignore how horrendous our O line and D line is which is a huge factor as well
I like Dak but there is no way I would have given him that kind of money, I would have made him a offer but not 60 million dollars
Dak was willing to playout his contract but JJ panicked once Lance had a bad preseason. The worst GM decision by JJ since he's owned the team.
All that $ for 2 playoff wins 😂😂😂
I was screaming before the season not to sign Dak. Let him walk.
Plzzzz get ridd of DAK
Cooper Rush IS a better QB than Dak...he isn't injured constantly.
he hardly plays
@@DiscoFever1970 yeah you cant say that.....he doesnt play enuff to compare that
Jerry will call around to see who wants Daks contract… “ Hello? Hello? Why are you laughing so hard? 😂😂😂😂
Prescott is Kirk Cousins, the difference is the Vikings moved on from Cousins. Jerruh will never do that, his ego won't allow it.
Mahomes’s best late game plays are when he tells the ref to throw a flag and they dutifully follow his command
How ignorant and pathetic
Dak is better than Cooper, but not $57 million dollars better. Not 20X better. Dak is Tony Romo part 2. He will win you plenty of regular season games then disappear in the playoffs.
2 playoff wins in a 8 year career and you decide to make Dak the highest paid playerin NFL history?
To be fair the defense has been playing much better and they finally start running the ball to blame starting 3-5 on the QB is low hanging fruit
yup these bandwagon fans don't watch film and actually see what was going on. The offense still aint much better than it was, its the defense that has won these games
Empirically wrong, we beat the bucs only rushing for 40ish yards. Guess how many games Dak has won when we rush for less than 50 yards?

I used to be a fan not any more since the Take a Knee episode. Giving Dak $60 million did not help anyone but Dak.
Y'all have to remember that Rush did this a couple of seasons ago when Dak went down. Im saying that Cooper is better than Dak I said it then. I am a cowboys fan and we will not advance with Dak.
They would be 5-0 if not for them hitting the football after it was blocked. Cooper is better all time and currently.
Haha No refunds
Agree with your opinion of Sanders!
dak & Lamar most overrated QBs
This aint the first time Coop has done this..remember when Dak had the foot injury. Jerry Jones shoulda remembered that when it was time to extend Dak.. Besides, what does 'better' mean anyway? If the game manager gets me more wins, Ima roll with him till he proves otherwise...
He plays the QB position better than Dak overall.
Jerry confused looking at his team? Priceless !! Confused from the day he let Jimmy go. He has not a clue how to structure a team and Dak proves it.
He can’t see over the line to start with. The last two playoff disasters should have told Jerruh

Get rid of number 4,,, Jerry can save some money,, To get a better quarterback..
That Dak contract was abysmal. The Zeke contract was abysmal. The D-Law and Diggs contracts are abysmal.
I was stunned when CeeDee finally got his. The only other contract that should be done is Micah, but that's in limbo and may not happen m
There's a constant level of fail here and it goes by JJ.
I agree 100%
“Dak Vader” is saying “ Jerry I’m your father” 😂😂😂
The way Green Bay came in their house and busted that ass in the playoffs...I would have been done..Everybody would have been on they're death beds this year... purse strings would've been wired shut..but good ole Jerry never lets us down.. Cowboys will suck hopefully 4 eternity!!!LOL
Love Jason ! HE THE REALEST DUDE IN THE SPORTS MEDIA !!! I’ve been saying this for the last 4 yrs. I’m more afraid of cooper than dak .
I wouldnt have signed dak or cee dee either win or pack your bags
Treat Dak like he did Romo….. Jerry got scared of black players Fell under the “ BLM” pressure and kept Dak over Romo
He put all us cowboys fans words in a video. Thank you.
I agree on Shadeur as well. He's another Dak type.
Your QB theory is spot on. I know it's crazy but I miss Tony Romo (not making a direct comparison but I just ENJOYED watching him).
Jason you should’ve made this segment for 49ers and Brock Purdy who is rumored to be getting ready to sign a deal more than what Dak is making 🤦
Yea they are about to grossly overpaid for a game manager. Shanahan has a knack of inflated his QBs value due to his good schemes gameplan
Dak proved he was wack his rookie year when he should have sat down and let Romo win us a Super Bowl with a baby unstoppable Zeke. But his pride is why he sucks. He’s never had top skill.
We wasn’t gonna win no Super Bowl with Romo bruh ….. delusional smh
This guy.. the ownership is the problem in Dallas. Not any one player. 🙄
Bullshit! Jerry, Stephen and prescott are the problem! Prescott is a second-string quarterback at best!
@@busalove2013 Yea bro, 2nd string QB that was 2nd in MVP. Totally. Uh huh.
@RyTrapp0 all done with inflated numbers...lol. Been with the cowgirls, what 8/9 years? How many playoff appearances? How many playoff victories? Hell, that fool has led the league in interceptions for the last three years! With dak, the cowgirls are always playing from behind. The other team relaxes their defense, and that's when your loser qb dak inflates his numbers! If you know anything about football, you should know simple shit like this. 😆
@@busalove2013 "The other team relaxes their defense, and that's when your loser qb dak inflates his numbers"

If you knew anything about football... lmfao
@RyTrapp0 . Lol... you sound really, really stupid! Dallas so-called 12 win back-to-back seasons was all to do with a terrible nfc-east season! Every team inches NFC-east was terrible! Dallas plays all those teams twice a year. Face it, boy! Dak is exactly what shady Mccoy said he is "ASS"!
Tony was better than Dak. Why pay Dak unless he has some blackmail.
You're right, they should've brought Tony back this year...
The Cowboys must be the only team in the history of the NFL to go with 3 backup QB's on the roster.
Good point of view Jason 👌
He doest choke in big spots as much as Dak so hes probably a little better.Everyone with eyes knows Dak was a B-, except Jerry
I agree with you 1000%
I'm not buying it! Dak lead the Cowboys to three straight 12-5 seasons and playoff runs! Get rid of Dak and watch what happens. Cowboys have alot of talent. It's crazy they keep coming up short
I said 5 years ago Dak is a back up quarterback at most.. I said get rid of Dak ... 60 million a year the only person super happy about that is his fiance
You're not giving Kirk Cousins his due. He's got 25 4th quarter career comebacks. Top 20 all time. Including 8 in one season in 2022 tying him for the most in a single season.
If rush was the starter… we’d be a least 8-6 🤷♂️
11-6
One 60 million one 3 million!
He is a B quarterback. With talent around him he can win!
Dak has only won a couple of playoffs games in the past 8 years. Never should have been signed a new contract
Matthew Stafford didn't win a single playoff game until his 13th season when he went to the SB with the Rams. Same season he led the league in Ints too.
Jerry Jones will Pay Dak Again 😢
Booth Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush are both backup quarterbacks. Both have bad throwing mechanics. The Cowboys are winning because the cowboys are playing better defense
Imagine 60 mil spread around coop
