Cheap Easy Power steering in my Hot Rod for $100 Prius electric steering assist series starts here

Normally to ad power steering you have to have a power steering steering box, and a belt driven pump, hoses, pulleys, fluid, all kinds of mechanical and hydraulic systems on your motor. This Prius electric setup is quick by comparison and easy and cost less too. So there'll be 9 or 10 videos stretched out in the next couple of weeks where I not only go into detail but I accentuate the work with my charming wit and charm. Be there or be square.

The biggest challenge is your closed steering column if it's like Jeff's. I'm going over to see him today. If he's made any progress I'll let you know. I'll also be doing the Rambler and probably put it under the dash. That'll be a whole other animal..

I've seen one problem with electric steering that when there's an internal short, it pulls the wheel one way of the other, lickity split. Not a lot but if you're on the freeway and that happens, you can end up.in a bad situation.

That’s the absolute worst thing about old tractors…. No power steering. My 38 acb only has a mag however. Lol
