Hi Dr Prasad, i was wondering if you had any thoughts on tear trough ligament release? Ive had deep bags from a young age, hollow tear troughs with some herniated fat above. They're at their worst when I smile, big round wholes with all kinds of wrinkles inside. I was wondering if in addition to removing the fat, tear trough ligament release could help?

Sorry to hear about your problem. While manipulating the ligament is an option, I would have to physically examine your eyelids before making a specific approach for your situation. I hope this helps you.

Sorry, I don't as it's not commonly done. For most under eye procedures I do preserve the natural anatomy.

While I do know many colleagues, we all have different aesthetic styles, and practice focuses. If you are considering lower eyelid surgery, I suggest you ask for transconjunctival blepharoplasty by name, which involves no external incision in the lower eyelid for visible scarring and potential damage to lower eyelid support structures; and insist on no lower eyelid skin removal to treat wrinkles, as this can cause skin shortage that will pull down the lower eyelids. Under eye wrinkles can be treated non-surgically to improve skin quality.
For upper eyelid surgery, I suggest you look at before and after pictures of prospective doctors to get a sense of their aesthetic style, and choose one that resonates with you. I hope this helps you.
Hi Dr, If you have a negative vector and eyebags at a young age, is a lower blepharoplasty enough to fix the problem or will there be hollowness under the eyes after fat removal? Thank you

Lower eyelid surgery is an art where a little fat should be left behind to prevent a hollow appearance. That said, with a negative vector, you may need an additional procedure like cheek filler for volume. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi doc I am 17 and my hairs are thinning very fast i never notice massive shed but 4to5 hairs a day now my hairs become very thin and not growing longer
