Redecorating villager homes is one of my favorite things. :). Yours are SO lovely and creative. I think it’s funny that literally non of my villagers has a bathroom. Lol. They always get a kitchen, living room (with TV), bedroom, something to store clothing, table to eat at, and a sink. Some of them get desks or musical instruments depending on their hobbies. And they have to be able to access their bed, couches, tables, and sinks which is my personal challenge. (Often means no dining chairs with arms. Boo) It’s really hard to make it look good and still let them actually use their house. I am going to steal your kitchen island idea. 🤩 I'm already using that gorgeous arched wooden window you listed the code for on one of your islands. So beautiful. Congrats on finishing Seasoned. Can’t wait to tour it.

To get the wallpaper on one wall you need to set it as an accent wall. When you go to place the wallpaper down, you can see at the bottom of the screen an option to set as accent wall. I think the button you press is X if I am not mistaken. You can only have one accent wall. Hope that helps and I hope you are having a fantastic week. 💕
Does anyone know if you can decorate your resident rep houses? I’ve found so much online about being able to decorate your villagers houses once you “complete” happy home paradise. But how do you do your own resident rep house?! Thank you 😊
Yes, you can certainly decorate your resident rep house at any time. Any furniture items, flooring or wallpaper that you acquire in game can be placed and arranged within your rep home. You don't need to have Happy Home Paradise to decorate your own home, however, if you want to add the wall partitions, pillars, or the island counters to your home interior, you will have to get those recipes from Niko in Happy Home Paradise. I hope that is helpful. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions. 🥰

I am running into this too - I think if you give villagers items you know you will want to use in their rooms, those items will appear when you try to decorate. I give a lot of clothes and not a lot of furniture, so some of the furniture seems random/limited when I try to decorate. Also, if it is something you have to craft, I think that furniture will always be available, versus an item you would have to find/win/be gifted. So if you want a non craftable furniture item in their home, you may as well gift it to them. This may be incorrect but so far this has been true for me!
I have the Happy Home Paradise DLC, and once you complete 30 vacation homes there, you are then able to redecorate the villager homes on your island. You can completely change the interior as well as the exterior. By playing through the HHP, you obtain a ton of items that then appear in the catalog when you are decorating your villager homes. I hope that makes sense.
If you gift villagers clothing or items, I believe they place them randomly inside their house. I don't think you can decide where inside the house items are placed. But if you have the Happy Home Paradise DLC, you can eventually completely redecorate your villager homes and decide where items are placed.
This is Great for those that can afford the better version. But for those like me. I do not get the choice of "Let's Talk Homes".... I get the "About My Home..."

ok i finally did enough at the Island to get my Partition wall DIY...question....how do you get the wallpaper to be on just that wall
