Really? I think the EBS Switch Blade is more comparable for the LEAF AP30 whereas this would be better compared to the Arcteryx Alpha AR35 which is a Mountaineering pack. If you want to check out the review I did on the Switchblade you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/1FM_Plb71AQ/видео.html
I don't think it has too much similarity with the Khard, but more with some Dana Designs packs, with that middle zipper. Missing the torpedo pockets though. I do wonder if a single attachment point for the lid in the middle will slow access via the middle zipper.
Looks like a very nice pack. Damn that yellow interior is bright. Never been a fan of the zipper opening. Just seems like a potential fail point to me. Nate
Similar initial thoughts… orange is too bright! Zipper is iffy, needs to be bomb proof but much appreciated like Mystery Ranch “Y” open. So many things done “right” IMHO on this bag… full top-load only is just not an option for me post 2020.
@@BlackFlagSummitClub thank you for offering, that's very kind, but I actually took the risk and bought the pack last month. Fortunately my laptop fits and the pack is brilliant.
What Fast Helmets are those behind you, Team Wendy? Ever since I saw the Triple Aught Design ads using those as climbing helmets I can't help but dig the aesthetic. So much cooler looking than the usual Petzl.
Yes these are Team Wendy SAR EXFIL helmets, which unlike Other bump helmets Youll see out there that are only rated for white water sports these are actually rated for Mountaineering.
Got this one and the shado gen 2! I’m exited! Also I’m waiting for a TAD fastpack lite speed to get to my greasy hands. I’ll have the trifecta of pack!
Let me know How you like the Litespeed man. I had one but ultimately found that it was too small as a travel pack (1-2days), perfect size for a EDC pack but a bit too heavy and just really wanted a pack that allowed me easier access to the main Cavity without having to Go through a bunch of buckles and stuff. Im thinking if picking up a SHADO, ill post me review here if i end up getting one. 🙂
Color really just comes down to preference in my opinion. I went with the RG to match my PDW DA hoodie as I like the monochromatic look. Because the color are really quite similar there is not a lot of pros or cons - like neither one is better at not making pet hair too visible like it would if it was black for example. The only thing I would say about the gray is that it typically fits in better in urban setting than the green or khaki hues but again this kind of just comes down to your own personal preferences.
Thanks for the feedback bro, I did write a script for this one instead of just trying to wing it like I have on some of my other videos just because there was so many little things about this pack and a lot of thought went into all the features that I just didn’t want to miss anything if you know what I mean? It may sound like I was biased but I promise you that I wasn’t and if I hated something I would have said so. But for what it was made for, I really do like this pack a lot. But really appreciate your feedback and input. 🙂
Thanks for the review BFSC! 👍🏼
Thank you for making such kick a$$ gear Patrick! PDW is FTW!!! 🙂
Looks similar to the Arc'teryx LEAF Assault Pack 30L. I do love the interior color.

The idea with the high vis interior is to let it be used for easy identification in a SAR type situation
Great review. Does that ThinkPad fit in the laptop sleeve and was size is the laptop?
If im not mistaken, its should fit nitebooks and tablets up to 11” - i can verify if youd like.

@Black Flag Summit Club awesome! Man I wish they came in FDE instead of all the bright SAR colors. Even if that defeats the purpose. 😅
@@Eldrake look up “TAD Edition team Wendy SAR” they come in FDE and Black.
*also i just noticed that you ask what the helmets behind me were - the MCB is (as i already said) is the TW SAR and the Other is the Opscore Basejump

Which of the two colors do you recommend? ranger green or field grey?

This channel is sick. Just found it
Thank you! 🙂
What is the name of the light on the Velcro?
It’s the Trilobyte from Adventure Lights
It sounds like you’re reading from a PDW script. Oh well, bought one regardless.
