Just bought one. I didn't see your review until after I bought it, but I really appreciate your reviews and usually I am caught up on your videos. Thanks for your insights into gear!
To make sure your bottle doesn't pop out, I'd recommend using a carabiner on your bottle to secure it to the horizontal carry handle. That's a damn good looking bag
I've been using mine for about two years now. I wish they had a variant with a single interior compartment while keeping all of the other features covered in the video. Maybe also get rid of the zipper entirely, since I think that zippers are inevitably failure points, and go with a rolltop design. edit: I see that the gen 2 version of the pack has been changed to a single compartment design.
Nice, I like the organization. I usually use an Arc'teryx 30L which has options for bigger things, pouches. But like you said this is good for EDC. If I go back to commuting I'll look into it. Thank you. Love the winter scenery!
Thanks for the review, Ivan! I'm glad you're digging the pack and getting so much use out of it. If your bottle allows it, you can use a carabiner to secure it to the SHADO's side handle. I have mine on a small piece of 550 cord so it's easy to remove but holds the bottle if it ever falls out. I carry a 40oz Hydroflask in it every day.
Similarly I use the pack as my EDC, but also for day hikes and small game hunting. I have the admin panel in the front pocket for all my work quick access stuff. I have used the side loops on the back for my small game bag. It works perfect to connect it, but that is more luck at finding something that fit. Ice ax and shock cord loops are also good for trekking poles. I lost some sunglasses that were in a hard case from a side stretch pocket while traveling. Majorly bummed. I use a Nite size S-Biner to help pseudo-secure my water bottle. So if it pops out, it is just flopping around instead of gone. One of the best things about it is that it isn’t bloated when empty; is easily slims down, but can expand enough as needed. Cost: two people walking behind me were complaining about how they can’t find a quality backpack and they buy a new one every year or so because they get frustrated. At a stop they asked me about mine. Then they asked how much it was. Then they were exasperated about the price. Then I asked them how much they had spent in the last few years trying to find a quality backpack ...
Good review. PDW make great gear and this one is clearly well used. These types of packs are not for me. I like less pockets/pouches hidden away on the inside, using my own pockets for organizing.
Prometheus Design Werx needs to up their RUclips game. Every product that drops should have its own overview/presentation video.

I'm a simple man. When youtube tells me I need a new 24l pack, I say "ok".

This is a pretty kick ass backpack. Definitely put it on my list for the future. Thanks for the heads up.
This is my daily carry. Love it. Wish they made a 36L, too.

I crave the coyote SHADO
Nice watch, will consider this one since i'm researching backpacks!
Very thorough review, as always. Thank you!
I’ve had my eye on this pack forever, definitely in my top 5 of someday. 🤙🏽 happy new year bro
I’m definitely in the market for a new EDC pack and this looks awesome. I am going to check Prometheus Design Works. Thx

Great review! Thanks
Great Company, Great Gear, but people love it so much things are never in stock🥺
Do you live in Narnia cause I feel like you're in a perpetual snowing environment
Do you still have this bag? How well has it held up?
totally a great pack. Just doesn't fit my everyday grey man fit unfortunately.
Damn that's a nice pack

What's the grey jacket you are wearing when summing up?
Great video what type of thermos is that?
what are the document pouches you use to carry cables?

Link in the description.
Still like my Arc'teryx Mantis. :)
Not quite as versatile though.
Why is the inside bright orange though
Did you listen to his explanation of this?
First also those skis are sick
The orange interior is mystifying... wth. Otherwise I love this pack.
sucks it's not waterproof
Acktuallyyyy isn’t this a SHADO not SHODO pack 🥸🤓
Good catch, fixed it.
@@KitBadger No prob dude! Awesome review 🔥
As an added bonus, it protects earth from UFOs.
