At 58 it still haunts me that I was 2nd to last at the state Cross Country meet my senior year. You never forget your one shot and you blew it. Hopefully, you move on and do better things in college and life.

Lane 7 skipped a few steps at around 15 meters.

Really like that Flo track post these races on RUclips, but they get things wrong a lot. They totally missed the fact that Gilmer also FS, and didn't post Somerset's finish and time at the end of the race on there screen, and they finish 3rd and also made the podium.
Come on guys this happens way too much.
What did Gilmer do? How did Summerset go from being in a photo finish to a DNF? That was bad all the way around.
Yeap, Flo track just totally missed all that.
Gilmer false started along with Decatur. Probably using blocks with sensors -- reactions faster than 0.1 sec. are normally DQed, so more than one can get it.
Somerset did get 3rd. Apparently, there was an exchange which was disputed and verified on appeal.
there is no way 3rd place is 0.17 behind. All three are in that photofinisher--and it is no clear who won.
I'm with you the final time must have been different I'm assuming they fixed it later for the official time there is ZERO possibility one of those teams is .17 off those first three are within .1 for sure and probably .05
Exactly. Just confirmed all three of them ran 41.53.
3rd place says Argyle and the guy that you are talking about was from Somerset which didnt even have time recorded which makes think they were DQ'd somewhere.

i remember having a trackdown come back like this my senior year and they said we lost and i thought i won.. i threw my baton bc i was so mad . came to we ended up winning but got the lost for my actions 😂😂

This 4a bro. Not 5a nor 6a. 5a run Friday. 6a run Saturday. You gone see some 39. An 123 low in the 4x2. Maybe 309 in the 4x4.
Nah I don’t think so. In this race nun of them. Because this year at penns the top 6 times in the 4x100 relay is faster than their winning time in this race. Basically they would get lost in the mix
@@Failedstateofcali this is (4a) not (6a).... 6a runs (Saturday). Duncanville is faster than jam. Duncanville already went 40.07. Penn relays was 40.17. In a tight race. Duncanville ran 40.07 with a Big gap on KF an KF went 40.42 3rd place was 40.66 40.91. KF also went 123.72 in the 4x2 Duncanville ran 124.4 this year too. Jam not messing with Texas in Hs. Tell them to go to Texas relays or Tsu relays or Alief relays.

It's because two people can and sometimes both do jump the gun. Unfortunately if this happens they both get DQed. I hate the one jump and your out rule.
This is 4A. These kids would get destroyed by the 6A teams. Texas high school takes track, especially relays, very seriously.

If lane 7 wouldve leaned with his chest vs his head he would have also tied with them
