- Today we are reviewing the all new RYOBI 18V cordless grease gun. Supper powerful and has up to 10,000 psi. 30" of hose, only 7.1 lbs, will take 14.5 oz. grease cartridge, air bleader valve, steel grease tube and pumps up to 19 grease cartridges on a full 4.0 battery.
Once the Ryobi Cordless Grease Gun goes on sale, I will place a link for you in the description.
Great review 👍
Great video bro
Cool Ryobi powered grease gun. I use the old school hand pump ones and they work for me. You can get those Lock and Lube quick release grease couplers for about $30.00 off of Amazon and they make removing the coupling easy peasy. I'm sure they would screw right on that fitting. Thanks for sharing Clint. Cheers!
Great idea bro. Thanks for the comment!
Even though I don't need it, still loving it cause Ryobi!! 👍🤪😜
Very helpful - thx
I bought one, used it and liked it, but now I can't remove my first cartridge to replace it. The rod with the T-handle won't pull out all the way to get it fit into the narrower slot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
i bought one on july 3 at spartanburg sc home depot. i added an lock--n-lube coupler and it works great
Did the lock and lube go on easy? My lock and lube is a 1/8npt thread which is standard but it wouldnt screw on easily on the ryobi. Even the standard coupler took some effort to remove.
Awesome Review Brother very nice product from Ryobi,Hey Bro I need some of them Batteries lol later :)
Thanks TJ!
You can change the coupler to a lock n lube coupler would work better
what size are the hose fittings? I need a longer hose.
Can you put the lock and lube grease attach on this?
You need to loosen the grease coupler up. All grease couplers come from the factory screwed down completely tight. The knurled barrel at the end will turn (loosen/tighten) to adjust the tension of the jaws. One thing to be aware, the couplers can be tight beyond believe when new. In fact, some times they are so tight you swear you have one that doesn't turn but believe me, they all do. I usually put it in a vise and then use a good set of vise grips to break it loose. If you get tired of playing with the screw-type grease couplers get yourself a Lock 'N Lube coupler and you'll never look at greasing the same way again.
Awesome info, thanks!
Thankyou so much this is why I have come looking at these videos. Ieven in vide it’s incredibly hard to undo. I’ll go & try again now that I know that it can come undone.
Just bought mine from tool factory outlet in Brandon mo. $80 factory blemished
My 20v dewalt is a 10000 psi gun also and it dont shoot out like that I can see how hard its shooting out could be a problem
I WANT THAT RYOBI GREASE GUN
Push it real good!!
Lol
Got the Ryobi grease gun and loved it for 10 grease fittings then it blew the fitting between the hose and the gun. Actually pulled the aluminum threads right out so it wasn't fixable. According to H Depot reviews this has happened to others. It was out of stock so I just got a refund. Hope they fix this cause otherwise it was a very useful tool.
what u should have did is put a picture on that cardboard box like one out of a magazine or something lol
How does it compare to the 20v dewalt grease gun the dewalt been the top of the line for years now
I actually did a review for the dewalt grease gun bro. This seems faster, the dewalt is all around better though. That being said, probably a lot more $$
Is the coupler non adjustable ? Is that the reason you had to wrestle it off the fittings ?
Yeah boss, non adjustable
Tool Review Zone man my buddy has the dewalt and it’s the same way , it’s a pain to get off and also non adjustable
@@Cs39601 I actually have a review on the dewalt as well. I don't think you can change the tip either. The dewalt is a pain, but this is definitely harder to get off
Where did you get this. I have not seen then any where yet
That's because it's the TRZ channel bro. You can see many tools here first.
Good except why waste so much grease just to demonstrate it works? Thanks
Not seeing it on HD web site yet? How much does it cost?
It's not out yet. This was the first review for it, but I'll post the price as soon as I find out BUG Killer
@@ToolReviewZone any idea the release date? Thought it woulda been out in May but guess not!
Give it a week or two Dmac. I would also start calling the stores to see if they have any in the back already
Compact?! Nice tool but imo they should have built the motor/pump into the handle side. I'm sure it's like it is for a reason, but compact it is not.
curious if your neighbors watched this vid
4:37. My organ must run at 10,000 psi. 😂
😳
REEEEEEEEEE O B
Lol
WHERE CAN YOU GET THIS GREASE GUN????? HOME DEPOT DOSENT CARRY IT!!!!! I called service office and the said they dont make it any more. poor service from corp. office
Hmmm, that doesn't make sense as they literally just came out with it. Let me see what I can find out, but give it a week or so and you will probably see it on line
Why would you need such a big/powerful grease gun?
Probably over kill for greasing the lawn mower but if you have a tractor, loader or Mini-Ex they have a lot of grease fittings and take a lot of grease. A battery powered grease gun can really be a time saver. In addition, 10,000 PSI can help force grease through gummed up zerks that refuse to take grease from a manual gun.
@@eosjoe565 use one daily for a back hoe, excavator and dump truck. About 12 fittings each machine that use a lot of grease and are hard to get started at times. No time to pump by hand for an hour...lol...
Try greasing 22 fittings on a bobcat every day by hand . Blisters blisters blisters
