Yup! Bri’s energy is so vibrant. Amber’s is not and being with Bri requires her to elevate and she doesn’t want to. She’s scared to do the work to get there but she wants the love. Agreed. Part of me wonders whether Amber feels Bri is too good for her. Maybe Bri was/is on a higher level in terms of being emotionally in-tuned and that may have quietly intimidated Amber. Fully committing to Bri would require Amber to be at a level of accountability that she's not comfortable with. Amber has something to gain by keeping Bri in her life - emotional intelligence, patience, and comfort. Bri on the other hand has less to gain from Amber. Maybe Amber has a higher level of practicality than Bri and that's what's keeping Bri attached despite receiving crumbs. The mystery of a person can be an addictive time-waster.

The grammar definitely sounds a bit clunky here, but it does make sense. Something can, at once, happen prior to one event (current moment in time), and after another event (their past relationship).
A better way to have phrased this could have been 'The following relationship/s you had after us'. (Past Perfect) But effectively still means the same thing.

Brie said "what about that stuff you were just telling me" meaning that Amber most likely acts very intimate and in love in private and aloof like this in public. That's a player thing. She thinks she's winning the game now but she's fucking around and will eventually loss a real one and will never find anyone half as good to/for her and will spend the rest of her life regretting it. Like "damn, remember when that women who was WAY out of my league in every possible way was so in need of love that she begged for bread crumbs and then I got the big head and thought "if I can get her, I bet I can get another her" and then she ended up finally moving on to someone who could show her what real love is and I'm still out here trying to nail whatever I can get, which isn't anything close to her".
