Amazing that I managed to get your favourite locomotive. I love the colours. I think I saw it had not long been repainted into the awful G&W orange unless I am mistaken. Thanks for the info about the ditch lights. Once I get a decent decoder fitted I will set that up 👍
Great video as always. My recommendation for the backdrop building with the fire escape that you think looks out of place is to place some smaller buildings around it. You could essentially have buildings that look very far away behind that blue building. Takes a lot of playing around to get it to look right. I printed buildings of varying sizes and then used scotch tape to play around with how they look. I went to Google earth and looked around Brookyn for MY Brooklyn layout. This process took me weeks to finally settle on what I think looked OK. Keep up the great work
An enjoyable update, Steve. Looks like that loco was a real bargain. It's good to see it running. My grandson is up tomorrow, so who knows? He might make a start on a new Dylington video, and I'm sure he'll film the Dylington Custard Billboard sign that Scale Model Scenery has made based on our layout. Thanks. I am assuming you mean the blue one? These are 2 low relief kits by Walthers. One is Lauston Shipping and the other Buds Trucking. I have adapted them a bit to fit my space.
Hi Steve. That white truck sitting behind your loco and also in shot at 7.00 min in. who makes that? I have spent ages looking for an HO logging truck, sort of 40s to 60s era. No luck whatsoever so far.

Hi Clive. It is a Walthers Scenecraft HO International 4900 dual axle semi tractor. They are quite modern era so won't really fit into your time era
