  • The Amstel Gold Race is a renowned annual one-day classic road cycling race held in the province of Limburg, Netherlands. While the Netherlands is generally known for its flat terrain, the Amstel Gold Race takes place in the unique hilly region of southern Limburg. These hills are the defining characteristic of the race: shorter and less steep than those found in the Ardennes, but far more frequent than in Liège-Bastogne-Liège. The highest point in both the region and the race is the Vaalserberg (322.7 m above sea level), while the iconic Cauberg climb peaks at 133.7 m.
The current course features over 30 short climbs, increasing in frequency as the race progresses. This offers riders little recovery time between the relentless ascents. The final 165 kilometers include 25 climbs, with eight packed into the last 45 kilometers. The steepest and most decisive climbs include the Cauberg, Keutenberg, and Eyserbosweg.
The route is divided into three sections, with the second and third loops (Lus 2 and Lus 3) being the most challenging and scenic.
This ride takes you along Lus 2, the second loop of the race. Prepare for a demanding route that mirrors the same roads used by professional cyclists. Pedal through picturesque villages and rolling hills, culminating at the highest point in the Netherlands, nestled on the border of The Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium.
In this ride-along video, you ride at the speed of a pro rider. If you want to ride at your own speed, please look below for how you can make that possible with our indoor cycling app Open Road.
Take your indoor cycling to the next level with our indoor cycling app Open Road:
Dive into an immersive indoor cycling experience with our training app ’Open Road’ for Windows. The app lets you ride the ride for real and provides a better and more realistic indoor cycling experience compared to our ride-along videos on RUclips. The app is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices, including smart trainers, power meters, and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can control the speed manually and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session.

    Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute RUclips and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, RUclips, etc…) pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride. We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because of the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.
    Terms of use:
Bike the World has filmed this ride with the journalistic purpose of documenting, describing, educating on, and informing about world-famous and epic bicycle rides around the world. Hi, loving the videos, really nice to watch while on my exercise bike, but could you make 20 minute videos please, sometimes I like to hop on the bike before I go to work and I think it would feel good if I finished a video in one sitting, like a feeling of accomplishment. I'm also a beginner so it might take 3 attempts to finish a video thank you

Is this part one or part 2? Different from software where there are 2 parts. Or you forgot one to upload? Thanx for your great work
