Hes not a villain. He has been through shit and has lost his emotions. However he does go out of his way to help people. Even if he considers them pawns, he doesnt consider them expendable. Atleast unless he would have no other choice. Just think about the stalker scenario. He had no momentary benefit out of helping the girl but he did so anyway. If anything, until now hes an anti hero. Like lelouche. At first lelouche might be an extreme to compare to for me, but on further reflection, if ayanakoji was put in a similar situation, he would prolly do the same. It's their psychy and their unpredictable borderline villainous disposition (though we havent seen much of ayanakoji's true nature yet) that makes them such enticing characters

there will be a second season don't u see volumes are getting made and each season requires 8 volumes and they have completed new 8 volumes recently and now they are working on the anime
not true, season 1 only used up 3 volumes. There is more than enough content for a season 2, but a lack of source material isn't the reason why it hasn't happened yet. The anime has been boycotted because of things they changed from the light novel so don't expect a season 2 anytime soon :(
