This is the best logic intro video imo. How to plug-in the instrument you connect, how to record, How to pause, How to delete what you don’t want. Tempo and duplicate. That’s really all you need to master as a beginner on logic and if you already know how to play the keyboard , you won’t really need to worry about using the logic key board to correct mistakes. You can literally just delete the error , and record over the section you want to correct.
I haven’t opened up Logic in a couple of years…just played around. Learning these basic steps has me back in it, ready to create. Excellent video…thanks 🔥🙏🏽

i have no real training when it comes to engineering so i have no clue what im doing half of the time other than putting things together that sound good to me. just watching this video was enough to help me put some things in order and with better timing lmao i cant play an instrument, but im learning how to play the piano with my macbook keyboard 😂its a start tho. thanks for the help!

Bro, im in my early 40’s and I’ve been dyslexic all my life. i struggle like a mofo to understand or grasp whats being said. This is the only video ive come across (thus far) thats been pretty straight forward and simple to follow (although it still looks complicated as F*) but a few more repeats and ill be set. I like Logic a lot. Back in the day I used to dabble in music production. I tried Logic, and everything else actually but sort of settled on Cubase. I think that if I get back into it again I will do so with Logic. Mainly because of the effects, presets, and sounds making things easier but I really like the editing better in Cubase.

Great videos. Yaahn, I have a Yamaha keyboard which has numerous styles. Each style has 6 midi instruments and it speeds up production very quickly. Cubase 8 has a MENU feature that DISSOLVES the single midi track into 6 midi instrument tracks. Does Logic Pro X have this feature? Plz adve asap. I’m trying to decide which DAW to buy. Thanks….

Great video with a lot of goodies. FYI, I installed Logic and it doesn't look like this anymore. ie When in the Inspector if you select a track you dont have to select instrument anymore. Now, just select the track and go pick the instrument on the Library and it updates on the fly. I thought that was cool.

The reason you don’t have drum kits is because you most likely don’t have additional content installed in logic
