This is my third year at University....I have to repeat a semester of Genetics due to a failing grade. However, in your biology lectures, you have scripted it in such an order that has made it so much more cohesive. Your lectures have helped me realise exactly what I didn't understand, or didn't realise I had missed, there were so many holes in my knowledge. Thank you so much!
very good lectures broh....you are so perfect in your lectures and you make us understand perfectly, with your notes and everything you are so good nice job....
Can u suggest me a channel for solving genetic problems plz? Solving the questions. I saw all ur videos now i need to know how to solve the problems... i have exam...
It could be a vice versus. There is no such rule as tall have to be a dominant over the short - in reality - usually such traits are regulated by many genes and called additive.
+AK LECTURES (Andrey K) From video 12 to video 13 in this series there is a large reduction in volume. None the less these videos are superb, they just need to up the volume, which is not worth complaining about :-)
I hope someone would answer my question. I find the epigenetic and mendel's law are somewhat a paradox. As far as I understand, epigenetic regulate, so that only one gene is expressed. It decides the activation of the dna. Whereas in mendel, both genes are activated. I don't know how to formulate my question, but I hope someone understands my confusion
No your understanding of epigenetic modifications are wrong. Epigenetic modifications REGULATE gene expression - hence liver cell and skin cell those have the same genome are very different.

Why was the tall trait dominant instead of the short? Is it that it just happened to be this case for those pea plants he happened to experiment with?
