Thank you 🙏🏽 I dropped out of high school when I was 16… started a family. Got into the trades. I make a decent living for myself and my family. But your videos and videos like it. Allow a high school dropout like myself. To continue learning about subjects I’m interested in. Thank you my friend
@@thuglifebacon3887 you said you dont care, you also said noone asked, well just to tell you, you just asked "did we ask?", also you actually care, how? bro if you asked that means youre interested and if youre interested that also means you care.
this just showed me most of what i was looking for, and then told me so much more in a direction i didn't even realize i was heading.... damn good job here.
Man, I studied this 10+ years ago in high school, I'm not sure what I'm doing here, but I'm somewhat glad I found this video for some reason. Great lesson, crystal clear and got me interested in learning more!
Hello Professor Dave, thanks so much for all those videos. It made all my students understand many topics in my Science classes, I sent them the link of your videos so they can watch your videos at home.
I absolutely love the way you teach! Can you please discuss in depth regarding pedigree analysis. I am confused in terms of the types of pedigrees and how to identify the genotypes
This is the only video that I had been searched with a clear and very good explanation. I already subscribe and recommend this channel to my classmates. Thank you!
As usual, this is a great set of videos. My only suggested change would be at about min 11 of this video, specifying that the dihybrid cross where both parents are heterozygous in both traits always gives the ratio of 9:3:3:1. I know it's implied, but wouldn't hurt to specifically say it (or write it as a note in the video)
@@ProfessorDaveExplains thank youuu so much I learned a lot from this video huhu I'm gonna report this Mendel's law of inheritance tomorrow in our class.
I have a question. Do u pollunate the white flower to the purple one and take the seeds? If you take the white flowers seed would the white gene be dominant.
wait.. if u have two plants for example the violeT and white flower In F1, can it be = all flowers are white and then in F2 = 3 flowers are white and one is violet can it be??
Actually the dominant here is a Violet so if try to know the result you can use the punnett square. Try this , the Dominant is Violet and the white is recessive, let say the the dominant is Big B and the recessive is Small b So you proceed to punnett square and the result at the is Heterozygous. I want to know why it still the result is violet even though the small a is there!
that's exactly the reason I'm here too! It's such an interesting concept; can't believe I never got around to understanding it properly back in high school
