What's popping Vault dwellers it's me Mt and welcome back to the heavy spoiler show. I think most of us can agree that the new Fallout TV show on Amazon Prime freaking rules. I mean what other video game TV show do you know that has the severed human head of a science nerd as its main McGuffin? You ain't going to see that on an episode of Pokemon I'll tell you what. But anyways let's go on ahead and use our heads to see where the inevitable season 2 of this show could be headed for each of our main characters in the series. So crack open a nuka Cola, save the cap and let's dive into this dang thing.
Now, first things first. is there even going to be a season 2 of this show? As of the recording of this video, Amazon has yet to put out an official statement as to whether fallout season 2 is happening or not. However, if a recent report from deadline is Any indication, it would seem like the state of California has been made well aware of amazon's intentions to continue expanding their new live-action Wasteland... As the government of California has been informed that the season 2 production will be taking part of California's tax credit program when filming begins... So if the state of California is gearing up for a season to a fallout, it's safe to say that we are indeed going to vegas baby! New vegas!
As that is of course where all signs point to after the mind-boggling finale that had villains turn into Heroes and our main hero turned into the world's most disappointed daughter... As everyone would learn that former overseer Hank McLean is responsible for war crimes beyond human comprehension when he decided to nuke the still slowly flourishing town of Shady Sands…all because its existence threatened Vault-Tec’s main goal of having their

I'm almost positive that The Ghoul wants to kill his ex-wife. Keep in mind, the first episode mentions he has to pay alimony. While it's not confirmed, most likely he divorced her after learning the truth of Vault-Tec's plans. Further, his daughter likely died when the bombs were dropped. He has a vendetta in mind, not a heart-warming reunion.

Idk, he mentions wheres my family, not wheres my wife, and he was taking his daughter somewhere when the bombs dropped, since they weren't married they probably let the daughter Into the vault and nor him, where he would then turn into ghoul outside

The Master’s army had largely been wiped out of California by then. The remnants fled to the new Vegas area. That ski resort, can’t recal the name right now
This show was such a pleasant surprise. Had zero expectations for this show and now I’m impatiently waiting for season 2.

I was always more a fan of the lore of Fallout than the actual gameplay itself. But I am so happy they were able to adapt this so freaking close!!

Because that AIN'T happening while House lives, and IF the TV show gets to say House is dead in a throwaway line or quick depiction so that THEIR new tv character basically BECOMES the new Mr. House, that is going to be SUPER WEAK.
@@porkflaps4717I think house lives bc they already got an actor to play Mr house in the meeting why would they cast him and not use him, but i think he’s gonna do they voice for house if maclean does end up going to New Vegas and if the house ending is true and if i remember corrxtly then he can project himself on any securitron on the strip thus needing the actor for the role

You forgot, Stef IS FROM vault 31. Stef was to be the overseer of 33 after hank aged out. 32 residents found out somehow of what was really going on and I think a narcotic was released from robobrain in 31 to putdown the uprising in 32.

Remember that Vault #33 still has the water purification issue to deal with.
They moved half the pop to 32 so that gives them a lot more time.
I think that the water purification issue was just an excuse to make sure Betty would become the next elected overseer.

I personally see a tweaked and twisted version of The Wizard of OZ. Ghoul is scarecrow, BOS tinman, Lucy is Dorthy, dog Toto, Wizard the scientist, and cowardly lion is Lucy’s brother. Also original OZ was made by MGM, which Amazon bought and is making Fallout with.

I don’t believe Hank will be able to take over New Vegas single-handedly just because he has power armor, which doesn’t even have a helmet. That’s ridiculous. A few of Mr. House's Securitrons alone would easily mow him down. I think he’s going to try to make a deal with House and hide behind him so the ghoul can't get to him.

Would be interesting to see someone getting into a fight with the angry mailman.
I would be really interested in seeing some DLC characters like Ulysses or Graham come into the picture. Giving reference to the War on Hoover Dam and talking about the courier. Lots of potential for the second season if there will be one.
I kinda adore how they are treating the cast of characters as companions. I enjoy Very much the goodness/neutrality/evilness aspect and the dynamics thereof. It rips. The. Show. RIPS.
My only disappointment in the show is on the weapons that were used or lack of there of. We saw a couple laser pistols but never saw one fired, fallout has so many awesome weapons and they're part of the lore. I guessing budget was the reasoning behind this decision.
I would also count season 1 as early low-level gameplay where you have very basic armor and don't see a lot of advanced weapons yet, season 2 might start to show more of the fun stuff, heck, Lucy hasn't even fought a Protectron yet, nor even seem one
@@UNSCPILOT it was also super upsetting to not see a super mutant but they did tease them atleast. Like I said I'm sure budget had a hand in a bunch of their decisions, we can only hope the shows popularity also increases the budget for season 2.
@@evandipasquale9255 same deal as the energy weapons I think, though, with season 2 going to New Vegas, I'd love to see Marcus get involved, even if they might not fight many Super Mutants we might see him and boy would he have some stories to tell Lucy, he's met not one but 2 Wasteland legends first hand

That's what I was thinking. I would tell the brain, "If you don't let me out immediately, I will smash everything in this place. Starting with you." Then I'm breaking that needle arm off. "Just so you know, I mean business."

As stated, Stephanie comes from Vault 31. So she's high in Vault tech hierarchy, so she obviously knows already what's happening and because of that deliberately was chosen as an overseer of 32.
The Courier is going to fight Hank, I don't think he's going to immediately be handed the keys to Vegas. Remember, The Courier is one of the most powerful protagonists in Fallout, there's no way House got rid of him.
Honestly I’m worried to see the courier. They could either royally fuck up his appearance or make it divine. First of he needs to be played by yuri lowenthal as he did the voice for the grunts. Second off he better not be shown dead because of some off screen death. Third, no one, and I mean no one should be able to kill him. It just wouldn’t make sense. Sure maybe he could get defeated for a while but u see revenge is a dish best served cold, and courier six always delivers

@@lordoftheguys9946 true but it still some things are canon as towards the courier’s personality. Mainly the fact that they are insane (since they have canonically decided to both fight a night kin with a pen knife and go punch a deathclaw in the face). Honestly I doubt we’d get an actually speaking fleshed out courier but I do believe there should be at least one scene where they just gun down a whole bunch of raiders, with the couriers physical appearance being limited to only the ranger helmet and big iron playing in the background
The Courier IS most likely dead, from old age, gotta remember the show takes place long after the events of new vegas, House theoretically should be the last one alive from new vegas
@@flexdon5188 timeline for fnv is 2281 15 years later 2296 lucy leaves the vault the courier would be in their 30s at least during fnv so courier would still be alive in their late 40s to 50s

One Hank in a partial power armor isn’t enough to de-stabilize New Vegas. Hank using his pre-war knowledge to rise in the ranks is another story.
Yeah, if Robert House isn't still alive, Hank might be walking face first into a pimp-slap from a certain Legendary Courier Six, or the downright disrespect of being turned into soup by a 50cal HE round from a Anti-Material Rifle, not unlike the raider in FoNV's intro

Dude, I’m sure Hank had major pull in the original bombings that put everyone into to vaults,, Shady Sands was him pulling the same trick to get what he wanted.
I’m guessing there’s more between when the bombs fell and when Cooper became The Ghoul. Maybe he was contacted by his wife to bring his daughter to a certain location but was “somehow” taken away from her. “Somehow” being vault tech
The Ghoul asked where is family is not just his wife. I think he is going to rescue is daughter and maybe get some payback.

If Courier launching nukes on Legion and NCR in Lonesome Road is canon ending, it would explain why NCR or Legion retaliated and destroyed New Vegas.

@@flexdon5188 During credits camera flies through The Strip and there are destroyed securitrons, Gommorah has been heavily damaged and gate between The Strip and Freeside is busted and damaged.

The fact that he chooses vaulttec over Lucy at the end tells you all you need to know about the surviving prewar vaultec execs. Cant wait to spend some time at the atomic wrangler in s2 ;)
Ghoul was divorced by his wife. Ep 1 says he’s got alimony. He is seen rushing his daughter somewhere when the bombs drop but she’s still alive somewhere with the mom. Guessing he got her to the vault since asked Hank where they’re at. Not sure how Hank is gonna be received at new Vegas unless the series is going with the Mr. House ending as canonical. Brotherhood would probably be more into the Hoover dam than hanks suit. Hanks from the past anyways and probably knows how to turn off a T60s radio transmitter. Also how did moldaver make it into a cryotec chamber? Was it bc she made cold fusion so she got a spot? Can’t wait for season 2.
The one factor that will keep Vault 32 from collapsing is exactly what you mentioned: Stephanie's baby.
You have to remember, these are Vaults made for a very specific purpose: keep Vault-Tec (as well as their corpotocracy) in tact and thriving. The others are control Vaults and Experiment Vaults, sure, but these three? They're a completely different ballgame.
While 31 likely doesn't have the same accommodations as 32 and 33 (due to cryopods and all), it likely *does* have lots of non-edible backup supplies stored there. Seeds, fertilizer, chems, equipment (like, say, a spare water chip?). As such, I don't think 32 will have to worry about that so much as they'll have to worry about the Management, a threat no one but a select few know for certain exists.
(And Chet ain't sayin' a damn thing. We all know it.)
Stephanie was literally trained for this sort of thing. And now that she has Chet wrapped around her little finger? She's not going to let anything happen to her little family. And if that means keeping the rest of her Vault alive at any costs? Then that's what she'll do.

I wonder if Hank has any interest in Vault 21, the one House filled with concrete. There's never been much of a reason why House did that.
Steph Harper is probably not concerned about going back to 33 as she was a cryo frozen vault tec employee.. her name was on the frozen list with hank and Betty .. her overseeing the other is right on schedule.. I’m wondering if they use a geck device could they grip crops or are gecks only used for topside
A single suit of power armor is not enough to take over the Strip. Only way he takes New Vegas is if he leverages his connections to House through Vault Tec. And i dont think House would care about some Vault Tec employee showing up. Assuming House is still in power. Otherwise its NCR or Yes Man who both would not be bowing down to Hank.
It would be fun to see Mr. House or even Courier Six show up next season, Hank might be able to get Robert to talk to him but The Courier would probably send this man screaming in terror out of town, heck by now the Courier has nukes 1 or more nation themselves, fought their way out of Big MT, and pulled off a heist on the Sierra Madre, if they chose the independence path for New Vegas Hank might be in for a frightening encounter.
That and it leaves the option for a certain punch-happy Companion to have become the Elder of the Mojave Chapter BoS so Maximus might be seeing a alternate path for what the Brotherhood could be, given the actions of the Chapter he's from you can bet they don't get along.
Oh, and if Caeser died the Legion is probably an infighting mess by now, still a threat, but directionless without the charismatic leader that made it work

How sure can you be that Mr. House is *ACTUALLY* dead? For all we know the canon ending to new Vegas is the one where the Courior _helped_ Mr. House and now New Vegas is being defending by hundreds to thousands of super powerful robots that all have rocket launchers. They'd easily be able to kill Lucy's dad even with his power armor on.
We need a canon ending for new Vegas and we need to see the powder gangers, khans, Legion. I had doubts in season 1 but was blown away so I have faith in season 2
No, we don´t. I had more that enough with that canon ending of Shady Sans.

@@teehee3657 good point. Maybe they somehow keep no true ending but it would be more difficult to write about the future of new Vegas without any true ending. Unless the 15 years something even crazier happens to the point where no endings actually mattered

Barbara Howard didn't give a damn about the dog, but also don't forget, she was fine with her daughter being out and about when the bombs dropped too. Theory time: Moldaver (Williams before the bombs dropped) could be a clone child from Big MT's science. It will give her a chance to come back in future episodes/seasons. Could also be why Cooper's daughter was left for the end of the world, because her mom had a backup too. Cryogenic freezing would have to have them all awaking in a very tight window.
I have to go back and look at all the previous overseers of vault 33 that came from vault 31. I wonder if that would shed any light on anything.

Why do we think Vault 32 is going to have "hard times" with the new residents from Vault 33? Is that because of possible interference from Vault Tech- experiments/ orders given to the new overseer? Since they have new residents from Vault 33, that was very successful, I don't (necessarily) think they are destined to repeat the failures that happened in the past. The corn "blight" wasn't explored much so I thought it was ambiguous as to what caused it; sabotage or incompetence?
we don't really know the purpose of 32. by all accounts, no one from 31 was being sent to oversee 32. that seems odd.
and i'm not sure the dead crops we saw in 32 were from a plague or sabotage. i think it was because they all killed each other and no one was left to keep it growing. i still wonder why they killed each other and how they figured out what was going on with 31.
It was a mice society experiment that was supposed to prove people will act the same in perfect conditions. The experiment was done, now it's time for another one.

i think we will get flashbacks to what happens after cooper's spying in season 2. we'll get more clues as to who's side Barb is really on. and i think we'll get an explanation as to how moldave got a cryo pod. probably even see scenes of steph in the past.
and norm's character and arc here is way too interesting to just pack it away for some future cameo in fallout 5. so i very much doubt that's what will happen.

I think somehow Barb had Janey taken from Cooper and brought to her management vault after the bombs dropped.
Twisted Metal series also did a surprisingly great job on their series.

Most definitely they're gonna explore that New Vegas plotline with the moustache fellow and considering Hank is on his way there, he might just be like a sub boss type or smt.
After noticing all the Wizard of Oz parallels I watched “Return to Oz” for season 2 clues…
There’s a huge emphasis on electricity as a “new” technology (the original Wizard of Oz takes place before electricity was used in homes).
There’s also a character that keeps many different heads (like brains in Fallout).
Also Dorothy is desperate to find the Scarecrow (Cooper, the Ghoul); and befriends a scarecrow looking character that wants to call her mom and is very childlike (Coopers daughter perhaps?).
The Ghoul’s affection for the red chicken in the first episode along w/his retirement talk of raising chickens is what ultimately drove me to rewatch Return to Oz. Dorothy has a red chicken named Bellina that is what takes down the Gnome king in the end (he has a giant fear of Chickens because eggs are poison to gnomes in Oz).
Seeing New Vegas made me smile.
The dog not being allowed was my tip off cryo was gonna be involved. No doggie cryo pods.
This channel and Screencrush really dropped the ball on giving this show proper coverage. I’m sure I can find a channel that put the work in. Plus there are so many reaches in this video and especially the other video on this channel that you might want to consider changing the name to Heavy Reachers.
Really hoping we get to see or hear about the legion next season
My guess is that Barb and Janey are in Vault 31, there appear to be a lot more active cryopods in there than the 18 names listed on the screen as Dormant. Would explain the "no dogs" rule as there's no living space at all.
Vault 31 was for low level executives. Barb would be at a different location.

There is another option for Norm. He could convince Bud's Bud to let him go onto the surface, because exile to the surface wouldn't interfere with the Management's Vision the same way returning to Vault 33 would. So Norm may pick up the trail and try to find Lucy and Hank too.
I am kind of hoping for the hidden people above even vault-tec to be either like the ancient alien guys from Fallout 4 or something eldritch, that's what great about Fallout it has such a unique tone the possibilities are very open.
It would be nice if they got Josh Sawyer and Chris Avellone involved in season 2's production.

I have an awesome idea about how Deathclaws could be part of the story of season 2
Instead of just having them fight a Deathclaw randomly at some point
Imagine, like they did with each character in season 1 the name DeeDee pops up
And then we see a baby deathclaw, the enclave are experimenting ways to breed more docile deathclaws, but they end up increasing Deedee's inteligence, and eventually she escapes
And throughout the season, up until like episode 6, the story pans back to Deedee periodically and shows us different parts of her life, like fighting off creatures, killing raiders who attack her, and even saving a little girl or something from a supermutant or robot, showing her inteligence
And we fall in love with Deedee the deathclaw, and eventually Lucy, Max and coop, end up face to face with her
But now we dont want them to kill deedee, and we dont want deedee to kill them
So whats gonna happen?!?!?!

I really enjoyed it. A bit annoyed they turned it into a love story kinda thing with Lucy & Maximus but I still really loved how well it intertwines with the games
I hope we see more other items, creatures and factions from the lore, in season 2 - supermutants, mysterious stranger, great khans, enclave in x01, ncr ranger, radscorpions, molerats, centaur, t50s & t45s power armor, crimson caravans, brahmin, eyebots, protrectrons, deathclaws, FEV, geckos, caesars legion, the fatman, children of the apocalypse, children of the atom, synths...
Maybe Bud tricked Norm into getting into a cryopod to make him more docile so he can switch brains with him
I agree, because Bud didn’t seem to really want to hurt Norm almost as if to preserve the body. Plus, you could tell that Bud knew he wasn’t talking to Betty when he and Norm were messaging each other.
But he could have just done that to another bud’s bud.
We don't know yet what Norm does. He is advanced with computers and could find a way out by bargaining not to release the others or ending them as well. Betty is older and another person from 31 would need to replace her as overseer since Steph is in 32 now. Bud would need to revive another soon to maintain "management" either way, so Norm isn't that stuck unless he does go in the pod
norm has already been labeled as too smart for his own good. no shot he gets in the pod, i figure he opens them all at the same time or something else outside the box

FYI i strongly believe that we already have seen the Ghoul’s daughter. It is BETTY, look at how all the flashbacks highlight her big curly hair as a child, and also makes sense as she is in charge at Vault 33

I loved the show but the thing I'm worried about the most is how much it reminded me of the Star Wars sequel trilogy
I mean, Lucy is already far better written than Ray, even at a glance, she's been on the receiving end of some serious shiz a few times already and had far more development than Ray did over all the movies

Can’t Wait to see the super-Mutants! I loved Max and how the portrayed my favorite faction the Brotherhood. Now I’m waiting for deathstalkers, Legion, new Vegas gangs, fire-geckos, and mutants.

Lucy returns to Vault 33 & 32 , lays siege to both Overseer's and makes her way to vault 31 , discovers Norm , and ...
i'm not so sure. she and cooper will probably be tracking hank east towards new vegas. and going back up to santa monica would be quite a detour. i think the story in the vaults will be more self contained, and lucy will come back after the revolution has happened and things have changed with either norm or chet in charge. i do feel chet will finally nut up and decide he's done being a coward. his line about how they are all cowards and that's why they live in a vault seemed almost foreshadowing to me.
Its definitely New Vagas. Where the ending of season 1 ending.
I don’t really like the direction they’re heading in having house be at that meeting but hopefully it ties in well. Also Sinclair being at that meeting means big mt and the sierra madre are connected

It doesn't matter if Hank knows exactly where the Ghoul's family is, "in Vault 31" is all that's needed (the pods have names on them).
Vault 31 is for mid-level executives who are woken to manage Vaults. Barb should be in one of the 'good Vaults'.
@@joso7228 Vault 31 could very well be one of "the good vaults". If you had a vault full of executives from all levels all frozen, the ones to be woken first would be the low to mid level ones. They would manage the connected vaults in the early years. Then, when they are old or gone, the upper management wakes to rule America on Reclamation Day.

Seems interesting, also love to see the Atom cult too, also a question I've been bugging since NV days, where is Area 51 and what fate or what are they doing in the Fallout universe because love to see something about it, maybe done a lot of experiments and that's probably where Vault 51 is, also love to see the Mysterious Stranger appear too
Would love to see Ron Perlman in season 2 as an enclave leader or leader of a new faction, any excuse to see him in the show

Why does everyone talk like it's an impossibility to leave the Brotherhood? I can't even remember how many channels I've heard say that but Veronica's ex from NV is one example and I'm pretty sure the brotherhood will literally exile you depending on your choices in fallout 4, but they won't just kill you.
Mojave Chapter BoS seems much less extremist than the Chapter we have seen so far, if they are still around tge may even Oppose Maximus's group if they try to establish a foothold near New Vegas

If Caeser is dead by now, the Legion might be acting like we'll equipped raider gangs by now, just with a lot more infighting without their charismatic leader.

Here's a theory for you. I think I know where the show will ultimately end. As in what is the 'end goal' for Hank... and it's not in New Vegas.
So, when we first see the Enclave scientist, in a blink or you'll miss it... well, for those 'in the know', we see him walking out in this odd building with concrete balconies.
That's the Brooklyn Army Terminal, which was used as the point of embarkation for US soldiers heading to all points east until 1967. That date, I think, is key; as in the Fallout Universe, it's around that same time that the 'timelines' change between our current one, and the Fallout world's timeline. Also, as the building was military in nature, I can't help but think that its inclusion wasn't in any way coincidental. If anything, I think it's a hint where the show will end, with Hank, Lucy, and Cooper working their way east toward Brooklyn where the Enclave are hidden in the ruins of the Brooklyn Military Yard.
Would love to see Caesars legion next season.
