This line looks tame compared to Brendog's line, where it was chance of certain death almost all the way down
Brendog was in a different class.
When the judges are cheering because he made it to the paddock it doesn't instill confidence in a fair system. Brendog all day. Exposure, technical, tricks over a freeking canyon. Line originality and the ability to stomp that line. Getting turned off Rampage a little bit more every year with the nonsense auto 10 points for the americans
Yeah, it was like they told him, just make it to the finish line and we will take care of the rest. You will get a last retirement award.
Not just Brendog, Bienve, Tommy G, TVS, Turk also deserve to have a better score than him and I probably forgot people. That really is a shame but it is a similar shit every years.

Yeah, should have won. Clearly. Maybe he should have tried his 1st run on 2nd attempt. Showing the same on 2nd won't get better results, so him not attempting a 2nd run is understandable. Especially since there was more wind til the end which wouldn't have made his insane run particularly easier ;).
Seeing the judges cheering for Cam on his second run basically tells the whole story.

Robbery in plain sight. He even didn't build, just used lines that were already built, while Brendan build one the most insane original and dangerous line ever. Glad he didn't go for the second run, risking his life for competing in a rigged event, no sir.

Slopestyle, sketch if you crash or whatever but brendog risked death if he went wrong anywhere. You'll see 20-30 mtbr's playing with cams drop in the next few months.
💯 he was robbed, was all a fix like most sports. The first run when he stopped. He could of still made the drop and done back flip on second run. Most sports are set up and this is know difference.
Brendon’s run had two features that were life changes injuries if went wrong and pulled enough tricks and the fact the whole run was done in style and didn’t miss a beat on run. And this was all done on his first run.
FairPlay for him not doing second run and he knew it was all ballshit

Cam is probably one of the best mtb rider and I like him a lot. The backflip was insane on the edge, but there were at least 2 better ride/rs this year. Judges, time to wake up?

I’m an old Zink fan, but he didn’t deserve a podium. Brendog won that shit, we all know the truth.
He did the same flip 10 years ago. None the less bad ass, but not winning rampage by a mile bad ass, should’ve been 3rd. The goal is to progress the sport not support old tricks on old features this isn’t a masters class appreciation competition.. it’s supposed to be world class and these judges need new hobbies cause this ain’t for supporting friends
INSANE that this was the winning run. A hollow victory for Zink and unfortunately his career will be smeared forever by this incident.
The judges thought they were doing him a favour but they damaged his rep. As you say his win will always be remembered as achieved by biased and corrupted judges.

What's up with the judges? SMH...Rampage has had it's fair share of poor judging. All riders should boycott this event, why put your life on the line since it's obviously rigged

Maybe it was the fact he linked a huge drop and gap before the biggest flip drop ever done. Cam deserved the W. Other spots on the podium are up for debate.

Whoever did the battleship should have won. There were three if I’m not mistaken. Best trick for me is that acid drop off the top. Front flip was cool as well, close second.

Feel so sorry for Brendog and Bienvende. Both waaaay better than this performance. Last redbull I drink. And Pinkbike need to address this shit too and not hide in the cupboard.
