Ricky, would love to lend a hand, I am also an ADHD sufferer, suffered a lot with it in my teens and into my early twenties, but found ways to manage, one thing that helped for me, taking a half hour walk everyday with music on just to find myself in my head before the day begins, I find a playlist of songs you like or mean something to you calm the head when the things are constantly swirling around
Yes Ricky! You hit the nail on the head mate. We have to be aware of our mental health and do what we can to protect it. But exactly as you say, we can’t just quit at the first sign of frustration. (Also, not saying this about Boldfinds) Anxiety, depression, fear, excitement, happiness, illation, are all emotions that help guide our decisions and actions. But there are NOT be all end all. Most of the time, you gain more knowledge, experience and learnings when you feel the fear and do it anyway. When you feel you have some sort of resistance but push through it anyway. This is the definition of growth. In a gym we lift heavier and heavier weights to stress and stretch our muscles apart. They buff up, then they’re sore and then they harden up ready for more. Our mental health is the exact same, but the weights you add to the bar are these different thoughts and feelings, anxiety, imposter syndrome, depression, procrastination etc They cause stress to occur, which fogs up the mind. Throws us off our game and we “can’t take anymore”, “can’t lift anymore”. It’s fine to take some time away for reflection and to heal the muscle of the mind, but then, with the new perspective gained from reflecting on what went wrong? What got under your skin? What threw you off? You are able to come back, stronger, more mentally secure for the next chapter until the resistance ultimately builds up again, forcing you to learn and adapt. I’m sorry for the mouthful of a message, but I really connected with this. The active internal work you are doing right now is priceless. It will pay dividends in more ways that you can imagine 😊 Thankyou so much for sharing Ricky! Awesome video mate 👊💜
Great video Ricky, was also a pleasure to meet you the other week. Keep doing what you’re doing also mate it’s been inspiring for me and to choose “Not to Quit” thank you 🤙🏼
Ricky you got a good message bro. today I really needed to hear what you were saying about don't quit, what sales can I run, what can I switch to auctions....preciate it man
Hey Ricky, love the channel. No bulk straight talking it is as it is. Any chance one of those Channell shout outs I’m pretty new ans learning loads from your content.
I love how supportive you are with resellers, RUclipsrs etc. new and old. I’m working on my first video thanks to your encouragement. Started an insta but I’m terrible with social media so we’ll see how it goes lol take care Ricky!
Bowls is such hit and miss. Was at Bootsale on Sunday. Someone was selling three sets. I asked how much and he asked how much I would offer. In my head was thinking £50 for the three sets. So I ask how much for the three sets and he said £10 for all of them. All came with bags and two vintage jacks. So I gave him £20 so I didn’t feel too guilty. Sold the three sets within 2 days prices £45, £89 and £195 also bag for £25.
I "quit" ebay 5 years ago, went to work night shifts at sainsburys as I thought I'd failed. 3 years it took to rebuild my business. Sometimes you have to take two steps back to go one step forward. So whenever I'm feeling the pressure or want to quit I just think back to what life was like working those 10 hours shifts. Never again will I quit and like you said you just have to push through. Ricky so glad to see your channel doing so well, you won't remember but when you hit 1000 subs I made a comment about 5k here we come and you laughed, look at you now. Bossing it
Great vid, Ricky. My problem is that I never quit or change, even when I maybe should. Once I start something, that's it... unless something huge happens to knock me off course. Even then I'm most likely to try and stagger on. I'm the Rocky Balboa of getting back up after a life lesson! 💪 Anyway, slow on the reselling this week but I got my 100% feedback back! IN YOUR FACE that bolshy buyer from this-time-last-year! 😜
Sound advice mate gotta keep pushing it even though it’s hard. When I get to 1000 subs landmark I’ll be happy, had a slump over the last month with home life stuff but I’m back on the horse now and cracking on
low vibration feelings on this vid, good to recharge get some rest come back strong next video! im looking forward to your 'I quit sit down , white background video'
Hi Ricky, Good video and good advice Just like to say it’s funny you said you are watching the WSOP I’m sitting in Vegas play in the WSOP watching your video 😂
Just finished watching this video and second comment. You’re so right people are so soft in these days. Maybe it’s an age thing I’m 61, work ft supporting homeless people, done eBay for over 20 years. Been away in my campervan for three days heading home. Have sold just over a grand in those days im away. I have a tattoo in Scottish Gaelic which says nothing without effort. People just want it to be easy. Life is not easy but you grow a set and deal with it.
Its good that you are trying to improve yourself and self-evaluate, everyone needs to do that every now and then, but I would not keep telling you're partner "why are you with me?" type things like that. A joke like that every now and then is fine, it's banter, but if you keep saying stuff like that over and over to her she will start to believe it herself and think that she can do better. So, I would try and keep that to yourself or keep it to a minimum, no good will come of it.
wish I was the one 😂😂😂😂 🤪 keep up the wicked work pal your smashing it 💪💪💪💪💪 and if I don’t see you good morning good afternoon & goodnight 😅😅😅😂😂🤣🤣🤣🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hello, I just want to ask you about the tax. How do you file a tax at the year end or else you have any tax assistants? Please explain if possible. Thanks
Hello, I use an app called QuickBooks. Everything is linked in the descriptions down below right at the bottom. They are very very affordable packages some under £10 a month The app itself is free There is a discount code for you to use as well if you take a look in my description and go from there I suggest having a nice little browse around the website :) let me know if you get stuck. You can contact me on Instagram or my email.
@RickyResells I have a few on Depop and Vinted and when I sell on Ebay have to check they aren't on Vinted/Depop and that can get confusing. How do you keep track of it all? I really want to use other selling platforms more, but it seems there isn't an easy way 😕

Geoff
A bit of both really to be honest, geoff mate

😅😅😅😅😅🙌🏼
Do you cross list to Vinted? I tried doing it, and it didn't work for me as it still needed me to put details in, so I quit!
I don’t cross list with any platforms if that’s what you mean. I just do it myself.

I just have a mental log to be honest😅
