At least here on the USA. A diesel rubicon gladiator has the cast iron knuckles and reinforced frame due to the gmvw for the diesel.
The Mojave is the better gladiator if left alone. But we all modify 😂
Love the Mojave seats. And the Mojave has the back seat center armrest!

I custom ordered a Mojave but installed a front locker and a Swayloc. So essentially I turned it into a Mojavicon. The Mojave also has bump stops, iron knuckles versus aluminum in the rubicon, as well as a reinforced frame compared to the Rubicon. These items allow it to handle jumps, within reason.
I completely get your selection though based upon the aftermarket upgrades you are doing with your vehicle.

As the only Epic group RUclipsr with a Wrangler, I can fully understand why you are moving to a Gladiator from a Wrangler. Wranglers are now fully passé with the RUclips set. But wow, immediately trashing everything but the body right off the bat turns a $75,000 vehicle into a well over $100,000 vehicle in a flash. Wow. Lots of $$$ signs but you have to keep up with the rest of the Epic group. I thought all the RUclips Jeep crowd preferred getting down in the mud to manually disconnect the sway bar because they are always bad-mouthing the electronic ones on the dash. I personally love my electronic sway bar release, but I am also one who is going to wear out my stock tires before I go to something bigger. I paid for them so I will get my money’s worth out of them. Same with suspension, I won’t upgrade till the factory Rubicon goes south.

I just bought a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon back in December. They had a sale for just shy of $8k off the day after Christmas. So far all I’ve done is a tonneau bed cover, carbon fiber plate frames, locking gas cap, a car and driver nanobit 12 volt adapter that sits flush to where you can still close the lid/cover, and an OLED Switch that never leaves the Jeep. Oh, and in the mail today I’ll be getting my Hulkman Alpha 10.0 jump starter, and a faux leather registration and insurance holder/folder 😂
I was in a rush and needed a truck by the end of the year for tax purposes. I don’t even know if I have the tow package. Sure hope that I do. How can you tell besides the window sticker?
Edit: Also, I’ve put just over 2K miles on it, haven’t even taken it off road yet, but I think that 3.6L might be slightly ticking. Pretty sure I was able to hear it when I was in a drive thru. Only in narrow spaces, when you have something large on both sides of you. Unlike you, I will not be swapping out the engine. Guess I’ll just cross my fingers. Getting my first oil change at 2,500 miles, and then every 5k after that. Going to do the transmission early too.

I think you may be making a mistake on the spec. The V8 won't require 4:1 low range. The 392 has a 2.73:1 transfer case. Personally I would have paid the extra for the Mojave because the strengthened frame is the hardest to duplicate and the parts you take off are the easiest to resell for a profit.

I love my red truck but man is it tough to color match different video clips as the light changes throughout the day. Don’t fall for the strengthened frame marketing BS. The frame itself has a little extra reinforcement on the top middle. Everything else is thicker suspension brackets and stronger components. Technically it’s stronger but by how much?
    .
I’ll prove it. Look at the curb weight of the rubicon vs the Mojave. They are so close. The rubicon has extra weight in rear bed sliders, sway bar actuator, heavier rear bumper, and extra locker magnet. The Mojave has heavier larger resi internal bypass shocks, hydraulic bump stops, thicker brackets, and steel hood.
    .
So how much extra steel is really on the frame? Not much at all. So while it is technically stronger in actuality I highly doubt it will be discernibly more resilient.
    .
Look at the raptors vs non raptors difference in weights. It’s massive. Yes there is an extra hundred or so pounds in the wheels, but the frame is at least a couple hundred pounds heavier. Ford learned their lesson with the first raptor.

We have very similar options, I picked a few more that you didn't. I knew I was going to be putting on a Rebel Offroad 2/3rd Height rack, so I added the back-up sensors and blindspot detection. The backup sensors are awesome offroad, as JTs end up doing 3 point turns more than other Jeeps. The blindspot is a huge help with bed rack on the freeway. I have the 21 JT Diesel Rubi w/ 6.5" MetalCloak/Evo hybrid lift, bedlocks, 37s, Adams driveshafts, bed rack, LOD bumpers, Warn 10k, tent, etc. I live about 1hr from the Rubicon Trail, but the Sierras are full of great trails to take the family camping in places that nobody has been in a very long time, also we are usually the first tire tracks of the season even in late summer. They are great trucks, but front ABS wheel speed sensors are poorly built, and my lift w/ long shocks doesn't appreciate the wiring length, but they also die on road prematurely while being on constant backorder.

I ordered my Gladiator a week ago. The Mopar headliner padding was back ordered from the factory. I was able to get it from Quadratec instead. I was also told not to order the safety group option as that can greatly increase the delivery time. I picked many of the options you did for the same reasons. I did pick the red, but didn’t want the color matched fenders and roof. I like the black and red combo look. Those items are also likely to get scratched on our Florida trails and black plastic does a pretty good job of hiding them. I’ll be following your V8 mod closely. I am getting the diesel, but might get a wild hair someday…

Just some food for thought based on my experience. The black fenders get really chewed up from rocks being thrown off the tires. You can protective film the textured fender but you can a painted one which is what I'll do. Congrats on the new rig coming!
