He's not the biggest or the fastest but Josh Jacobs has elite vision and the patience to use it. He also has a wicked stiffarm and can almost always get past the first defender who gets a hand on him.
We should have paid the man.

@@LVR_98 jones also played behind a way better Oline and was injured for most of the year and is 29 years old while Jacob’s is 26. Raiders Oline was one of the worst olines last year

Someone who is more knowledgeable than myself, please break down why Josh Jacobs had *such* a down year last year. For me personally, it has always been difficult to figure how good this kid actually is and how he compares to other backs in the league.
He held out all last offseason trying to get a new contract. Not sure if that affected him but he looked a little slower than his normal self. Injuries also slowed him down and he missed 4 or 5 games last year. That said, when he’s on the field he’s an absolute dog. Always falls forward and can make a guy miss in a phone booth. He loves contact and will punish the first tackler

Josh McDaniels tried to run him into the ground but he overcame the bs and was the highest rushing back of 2022. His worst year last year was about as "bad" as his sophomore slump year 805 yards 6 TDs is still great tbh but mostly it's because of the way he runs so dominating not afraid of anyone mentality he always injures something. I have 2 my girl my dad and my Lil brother all have Jacobs Jerseys #28 / #8 will be missed 🏴☠️
