Dr. Berry had a link to a report about several studies which I printed and gave to my Dr. because he was worried about my LDL which had gone from 115 to 210 on Carnivore eating. My Dr. already knew I would not take a Statin.
RN here, Clinical Informatics for 6 years now. Great to hera from an MD. Been in-out of carnivroe...trying to be disciplined and control the cravings and tempatations aorund. Thank you Dr. Phil, you are so humble. Kudos to all Carnivore Doctors, and of course to the panels.
As a nurse for over 35 years, I agree with the good doctor. I have been complaining about the standardization of healthcare. We are not cookie cutter patients. I hate that everything is about compliance and protocols. The way medicine has changed over the last 20 years is not improving people’s health!
I'll hardly go to a doctor. Last time my life became in danger, I wouldn't go because I was afraid they would end up killing me with tests, procedures and pharmacy.
Imagine there is no compliance and protocols in a big organisation such as financial institutions, airline companies etc. Without them, America might be not different from Ethiopia, Uganda etc. Only intectuals can value them.
Love the "no haters" statement. There is no shame as part of the SBG since everyone understands we are all on the same journey, regardless to which mile marker we may have a flat tire at.... (SBG is a 24 hr roadside assistance). Much love to all of yall from over here in the Philippines.
I love it! In the IT field there's a term called SME. It stands for subject matter expert. And that's what he's saying you are! And you are! Kudos To the steak and butter gang! 🌟👏👏👏👏
I postponed watching this video as it was quite long. Now I finally found the time to watch it and I have to say that, despite the amazing job that you 3 from the steak and butter community are doing, to interview a doctor who was on the verge of death by metabolic disease and have him tell his story of recovery through eating meat and animal fat is the most effective way to have people open their eyes on this crucial matter. This is one of the best videos on the topic I’ve ever watched. You nailed it! You’re an amazing team!
This is by far the best video I have seen. At times it almost brought tears, just the info I needed. I had started carnivore around the first of the year without really knowing what to do. I decided I wanted to be healthy & this seemed to be the only way. I did fairly good, strict, but a bit confused. I stopped carnivore at about 6 weeks & ate things I had not been eating…it only took about 5-6 days to see that was not good. I felt the symptoms I had not been experiencing. I decided to be totally committed to carnivore 3 weeks ago. Even though I still have a whole lot to learn I am sticking with carnivore. I don’t have any reservations about this, I just need to learn more to affect the changes I would like to see. I have always been very independent so it is hard to get into joining a group or community but I guess I could say I’m getting there & see the necessity. Also I do not have a healthcare provider that would support this. So…being on my own on this I’m getting it that I will need to join up. Just to add a bit, I’m 75, have Hashimoto’s, Mollaret’s Meningitis (recurring)as well as CKD stage 3, as well as I am a cancer survivor, NHL. I’m on no medications other than Armour Thyroid & HRT. ❤Thank you for this video, I learned so much.❤
I'm 3 mo. into keto again, (not my 1st rodeo, I lost 105 lbs with keto 3 years ago.) This time around, I am eating more ketovore. I am eating some veg, but not near the amount I ingested before. Thing is, I'm feeling really good 👍 eating mostly carnivore this time. (??) Amazing, but true! I eat Himalayan pink salt with every meal, drink electrolytes when I need to and supplement with digestive enzymes, plenty of whole food based minerals, D3, multiple magnesiums, zinc etc. etc *One of the biggest changes is I'M NOT SO FOCUSED on FASTING!! Last time, I got incredibly WEAK pushing, pushing, pushing for extended fasts. 😅 I am so excited to show my Rheumatologist these results. I went from terribly inflamed Lupus to NO Lupus at all. All ANA and other blood markers are now gone!! Now, I'm hopeful my weight-loss will be closer to 45 lbs GONE! I have to make this lifestyle work out for me long term !
My mistake with keto is I was restricting my meat. I would end up cheating here and there cause I was starving. The cheating brought back the brain fog and I couldn't see how sick and depressed I had gotten in 2 years. Now day 54 carnivore, I can see how horrible this disease of sugar addiction is.
How have I missed priming??? That could very well be my problem. I eat maybe 2x a day, trying to incorporate more fat, but my weight has stalled at 281.
Yes, maybe it's priming. You should also consider incorporating PSMF during your weekly diet. It stands for protein sparing modified fast and it means to eat leaner meats, like 95/5 beef, turkey, chicken, cod, etc (wild caught and grass fed of course) no more than 3 times a week. Best experts on this is Maria Emmerich's channel and Keto Naturopath Kitchen's channel. It works!
I love this Dr Phill's humble yet bold and valiant ability to state his opinions and observations here. He's so intelligent and progressive to jump in with his full heart. I sent this to my husband who watched (usually he doesn't). My husband was quoting him back to me, so thank you.
@@philsmith3827 I sent my husband this interview of your experience then after he watched it, Fred (my husband) was telling me about your experiences. He actually paid attention to you and the information sunk in. Usually Fred looks for counter points, or simply won’t watch the videos that I send him. He’s very skeptical, but I’ve managed to get his A1c down to 5.3 from 6.8 and off metformin on a ‘keto-vore’ type diet. And he’s lost 25 lbs since last November. My next plan is to get him to be carnivore, get him off of crestor and bp meds. He turned 71 yesterday.
Oh wow that what awesome. Now am debating if that’s what I need to do and join a community. Stalled for the last 8 months after having lost near 140lbs… still holding on with no results I may need to look at this feasting regimen drphil mentioned. 🤔 I am very intrigued 🙏 thank you 🙏
@@joanneclark8256 I went carnivore 20 months ago. Can’t afford meat everyday so I am mostly living off eggs and butter and canned sardines in water. Only wish I knew of this earlier in my life when I was younger. I feel like a different person and I am sure I could do much better if I wasn’t so sedentary. Still lots of work to do for sure 🙏.
Yes. I got full too quickly. It wasn't an issue (stable weight) until I got gi infections. Then I got really sick. To rebuild I need to amp up my hunger to eat more. Eating 2 lbs a meat a day now instead of 1/2 a lb. Feeling so much better. My immune system is back in high gear. Meat is still key but now I can eat enough.
Great video! 😊I'm on my 34 day of carnivore, and have lost 48 pounds. Joint pains are gone in addition to much better skin. It's so uplifting to see other people succeed as well.
@KimMeyer-tq4pu Yes, you can. Women lose weight at a much slower rate than men, and I lost 30 lbs in 30 days last August, eating the ketovore way (not 100% carnivore but close).
@@KimMeyer-tq4pu Not true. Had just gained more than 30 of them in 2-3 weeks before I went carnivore (massive binge on sugar). A lot of this weight loss is of course water weight. When the starting point i 360 pounds, this is fully possible. Have done somewhat similar drops on keto as well. Be careful to judge when you dont know the context or the details.
Beautiful interview!! It is amazing how myocarditis can be misdiagnosed as the flu!. I'm not into inspiration but this Doctor and this team are inspirational.
Meat and Lard…. Even God agree with this way of feeding ourself. KJV Genesis 4:3,4,5 ……Abel , keeper of sheep, Cain tiller of the ground. As an offering to the Lord Abel brought the firstlings of his flock and the FAT thereof, and the Lord had respect unto Abel and his offering. But unto Cain and his offering ( the fruit of the ground) He had no respect . So for me its like Carnivore vs vegetarian.
Wow about the offerings That God accepted is a scripture that identifies the Truth in What God Will desire before the other choice here ! So here’s one from Saint John chapter 4 :34 -; Jesus said to them , my meat is to do the Will of my Father who Sent Me ,and accomplish His work.” -/ So I think God Was just assuring ME THAT HE CAN and Will..…..Still Lead us to His thoughts When we least expected the -“ Lords Word to Hear “; So His Word is a is a Light Unto my path And a Light Unto my Path “ , A Psalm You can Open up to Give You the Fathers meat That Jesus talked about in that verse I mentioned before ok❤ And keep Thanking Him for More than meat , But for All Eternity He made You for : His is His to lead and He Will Lead You to Know Who He Loves You ❤--( John 17;- in N. T. ) ❤……..
Meat Fish and Eggs are so satiating that you just tend to want to eat less. Although you still have to run a calorie input deficit, as long as you have some body fat, you are going to swtich to burning fat to make up the difference. But if you keep stuffing carbs in your face then you are going to keep switching off the fat burn, and you will get your hunger back. The science is pretty well sorted on these issues. Finding this out truned me from a 254lb yo-yo dieter who thought all calories are the same, to a 200lb meat eater.practiing intermittment fasting. I stopped taking 5 out of seven daily drugs, and reversed my prediabetes and heart condition. Thanks Taubes, Lustig, Fung and Teicholz
I’m so inspired to keep pushing!!! First learned about carnivore back in January thru my partner. She made a miraculous shift physically , medically and emotionally. Decided to join her but we both kind of “fell off” after taking a vacation back in February. So it’s been a bit of a struggle to get back on track. Thanks for this video! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@paulledet6630 it's not an issue Scotland has amazing meat on offer...just do what you do normally of you eat 2mad then stick to your routine try different cuts of meat or animals you may find it really enjoyable..I know when I was away recently I tired oysters & muscles & goat very tasty & loved the diversity..
I have been on this for almost three weeks and I find it impossible to eat more than two meals a day. I hear what you say about priming but I have not been able to do more. I think it’s because all my 67 years I was told “less is more”. What can I mentally do to move forward? I have lost 20 lbs already and I have 80 more to go. Thanks for any suggestions.
Love this guy. Retired FP physician here, too. I totally relate with everything he has experienced. I’ve unfortunately had a quad bypass for 90+% blockage in 4 coronaries. Turning it all around now. No more bypass surgery for me.
Standard Keto is ok. The latest craze about finding alternative for everything is nuts, he's right. This is appearing Also on carnivore channels, recipes for bread, macaroni cheese etc 😢🤌🏻. I eat just meat, organs, eggs and fish, butter ghee lard and tallow. Salt, potassium and magnesium citrate.
Yes! Always thought the same with vegetarians and their "meatless meat options". It keeps you in the mindset that your giving up, or lacking, something. Wrong thinking and leads to failure.
Most people understand the big Y to change the diet, but the real question, the other big Y, is why are all those other normal foods making people ill.
Having Dr Smith on the show by far is the gift of help and motivation to get me to join SBG group. I am much younger than Phil but I have some of the issues like, mild decades old caloric restricted or just not eating enough. I have had anemia, digestive issues, and I think I have some of his issues. While my pulse is not as low as his it's below the norm. I lift weights and always have, but for some strange reason my left leg has lost muscle mass, atrophied. Possibly my body consuming the muscle for IF is NOT what I should be doing until my body can trust me again. I almost died water only fasting 7 days once and lost 21lbs. 😔💔Thank God I did not, it is only because of Him and His power that I am still here at all. I had no medical intervention. So yes it is a miracle.
I'm new at this. My friend had very good success, but stalled and i shared the priming video. She's excited. Went through all the same stuff as dr. Phil and a previous guest (sorry... forgot his name) My question... is beef the main meat or is chicken, fish, shrimp, pork ok as well. And i don't understand what cruciferous veggies do to mess things up, please, and thank you. My son and daughter in law want to start but not sure they can afford it. Suggestions? And if we're new starting... should we start with priming, or wait until the stall? Sorry for the avalanche of questions that I'm sure have all been answered 80 times. 😅
My food budget is fine. Buy meat on sale, no waste or spoilage. Much cheaper than processed foods and fruits/vegetables that spoil quickly. I personally eat no fruits or vegetables. Occasional dairy (cheese) but have to limit. When you eat 1-2 lbs of meat a day, and it ranges from $2.99 - $6.99/lb. It is really economical. So the food cost is realities to your approach. As Dr. Berry teaches, eat the best meat you can afford. Mine is typically cheaper than deli cuts, and I even buy my steaks on sale.
I am gaining weight on carnivore, 2 weeks into this way of eating. I have committed to 90 days to see if this works. I want to drop weight, not gain it! We'll see. Meat, eggs, water, butter, a little sliced swiss cheese with eggs. Concerned on weight gain, but patient.
Same! I’ve learned it takes time to become fat adapted in order to burn. I’m adding more fat and less protein so 1:1.5 protein to fat ratio for my meals. And also eating butter by itself as a snack between my meals. I’m always craving fat which evidently my body is asking for.
Bella can you please do videos for those of us that are pretty healthy and active but only have 10 to 15 ins to loose. Especially those of us who are post menopausal. Sometimes it’s those last 10-15 that won’t budge. How do we ease into carnivore without gaining or compromising post menopausal digestion? Thx
Thank you for listening. We Americans are killing ourselves with Metabolic Illnesses that are totally asymptomatic. I hope I can get the message out to more. Please share my story.
Wow Dr Smith (Phil)...is great & shares his story about Carnivore so well...for him being a Doc & finding out about Carnivore from Regular people and then from 2 other doctors must of been a "Light Bulb going off in his head"...Thanks for sharing Dr Phil Smith & Steak and Butter Gang
Priming got my metabolism reset, then alternating feasting and fasting at different intervals was a breeze. It is a combination of factors. I hope this helps you.
Question? I have a lap band. How can you and priming help me? Can you and your group help me? I am eating carnivore but I never know if I am eating enough or too much. I weigh 280 lbs and just am not losing and my clothes are not getting loser either. I have been a carnivore for over a year with a few cheats in there.
Great interview. I’m into my 4th month down almost 40 lbs and lovin it! Knee no longer hurts, no longer out of breath, ENERGY!, and can think so clearly. 375 to 335 on the way to 200. Love the channel and everyone here.
Bella has been showing up recently on my RUclips feed for some reason. 2018 I tried keto for about 6 months and loved all the benefits, but wasn’t able to maintain the lifestyle. I’ve been gaining weight since the beginning of this year and know I need to change what I’m currently doing. Thank you for sharing this information and helping me gain more insight on the carnivore life. I’ll definitely be visiting the website to get even more information.
Im going to try carnivore again, but I need to learn what works, but I just started and could not eat enough, I was so full I did not want to eat again when it was time for my next meal, so Im learning before my next attempt, thank you for this video have learned a lot to help me, thank you all
I was on keto for 3 months, then transitioned to strict high fat carnivore for 6 months. My BP started creeping up to 170/100...and started gaining weight as fat not muscles,,. Somedays lower or higher. I found Dr Westman, Keto doctor who was surpprised about adding high fats to improve metabolic health and Maria's Emmerich video about Protein Sparing Modified eating and was confusing of her idea that high fat is not good ?! I was/am totally confused now. And today, after watching this video, I am not sure where to go from here?...Too much different info . Thank you very much for any comments:)
I know it is confusing to find what’s right for you. That is why I did my research first and ended up where there were experts with reputation and experience
Experiment and try different ratios protein to fat. You’ll find what works for you. Just need to find your sweet spot. Everyone is different because of different metabolic rate.

Thanks! Where can I find the information on how to apply the information from Dr. Mindy to carnivore that Dr. Phil referenced? PS. I'm a former SB Gang member... Thinking of coming back. Have lost over 130 pounds following your program, but need to lose about that much more. Still trudging along.
Wow ...a physician educated from You tube !! That is how I learned after trying to follow Dr and ADA recommendations for yrs and getting sicker and sicker. Now ....3 yrs keto vore and no longer t2diabetic. .
We are always learning. But you have to be careful. Not all information is reliable on RUclips. But I'm blessed that there are so many reliable Carnivore physicians who are credible, experienced and great communicators, like Drs. Ken Berry, Shawn Baker, Anthony Chaffee, Tony Hampton and Robert Kiltz. And some great ones in the keto and research space as well. I have also been blessed to be in the SBG community. Tally Ho!
I loved listening to you all, again and again. It's very encouraging. I started carnivore early Feb. and was eating butter which created tons of problems like acid reflux 24/24 then I was eating too much meat and finally noticed that 1lb meat per day and that's it solved all my problems. I'm 71 and do not move around except walking 50 min. every day but everything has changed with just 1/2 gal. water and 1lb meat or sausage meat. I pour some MCT oil in my hot water (I love hot water) and some olive oil on my meat. My weight hasn't drastically changed, yet but I hope it will 12 months from now. Carnivor is the best diet to feel fantastic but it's not for everyone. I have a friend who has prostate cancer and he says he can't eat meat? It's always wonderful to watch your shows. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
Thank you, Dr. Phil. Now that I've found what works for me, I'll stick to it and when I feel like I need more I just open a can of sardines in water. It's going to be okay. I do sleep well. I tried the EESystem as well and it's great. It's really about being in charge of our bodies and no longer letting anyone tell us what is. I let the cardio put a stent in me but I did not know about all of this before... Same, as I would have never let the doctor do a tubal when I had my last child 40 yrs ago. As we say, live and learn. Learn how to say NO.
I would sure love Dr. Smiths paperwork to show my cardiologist! I do have Heart disease and atherosclerosis and I’m doing carnivore 2 weeks now. I did clean keto first for 2 yrs. For sure my joint pain is gone but still have other issues yet. High cholesterol, fatigue mostly. I really like listening to Dr.Phil. So wonderful hearing his journey and I’m 78 so I want many more years too. I love Bella and found her first, then Emily and Raymond. I identify well with Bella, but I’m gonna get that book too!
Can you share how you got diagnosed with heart issues and l had a bad pain for awhile and then it stopped l think for now and now less stress . What should one look out for
@@joanneclark8256as I said, we kind of stumbled on it. My viral illness and heart symptoms were disconnected in my brain for almost a month. My friend, the cardiologist really thought he would find a blockage in one of my arteries. He was surprised to see the front (anterior) wall of my heart not moving. Typically an Echocardiogram would have been the best initial test to screen for it. We just weren't suspecting what he found.
There is an article posted by the American cardiology association published Nov 2020 that basically supports this. Most cardiologist have not followed suit 😢
SBG what can my sister do? She has that tick born disease that makes her ALLERGIC to beef and pork!!!! She can only really eat chicken and fish and sometimes eggs and ‘sometimes’ she will eat a burger. Our father is a beef cattle farmer and has always had 1/2 and 1/4s that we purchased. But she isn’t doing that now. Anyone know of a way to get over this horrible allergy?!?
I have heard of the "lone star tick" which causes beef allergies. Very interesting syndrome. That is why it is good that there are so many other animal protein sources. You might want to research RUclips for people with that condition to learn more. I have never seen it, but would be unfortunate for me. However, like I said in my video, you work with what life hands you.
I was on carnivore for a little over 3 months without losing an ounce! But once it started, I lost 30 lbs in less than 3 months. Be patient, my friend! It is different for everyone.
What I've had to realize is that I have to fast more when my blood sugar is high. Also include walking and sprints on a bike and body weight exercises. You have to burn it off some way. I'm type 2. Focus on lowering your blood sugar that comes first. ❤️🩹
If my blood sugar were that high, I would get on diabetes meds ASAP. Also, I wonder if you are not eating enough fat along with the meat. Meat require insulin while fats only need a minimal amount.
Dr. Phil Smith is the exact reason why I tell peeps to go find a good Naturopath... more often... Naturopaths are way way more intune with a Proper Human Diet.. this is because their academic studies provide them with a much much better understanding of nutrition. MD's tradtionally spend very little time fully understanding it. Further MD's are vastly pushers of "drugs" rather than actually diagnose "the problem".. A prime example is the absolutely over mis diagnosis of TYPE II diabetes.. 90% OF THOSE PEEPS COULD FIX THEIR ISSUE WITH A PROPER HUMAN DIET.. rather than the poison big pharma drugs. Type III is most likely Dimentia/Alzheimer.. I'm 1000% in agreement with Dr. Anthony Chaffee on this! *AMERICA STOP POISONING YOURSELF WITH BIG PHARMA DRUGS/TAKE YOUR HEALTH BACK AND EAT A PROPER HUMAN DIET. TAKE YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR LIFE BACK!*
The first time I had a proper carnivore meal (OMAD style) - I just had baked goat ribs (only beef substitute I have access to) along with eggs and some bacon on the side, all cooked in salt, pepper and butter - I almost cried at how incredibly good it felt. So delicious, so fulfilling. Never looked back since.
Meat alone is not enough for testosterone. I went from 334 to 960 in around 3 months with a varied balanced diet with no nutrient deficiencies. This book should be essential reading for all men Complete guide to testosterone by james Francis

19:43 * Scientific Approach and Anecdotal Evidence*
- Dr. Smith emphasizes the importance of anecdotal evidence and consistency in messaging within the carnivore community, highlighting the significant impact of the approach on thousands of individuals.
24:25 * Understanding cholesterol and statins*
- Cholesterol levels and statin prescriptions are often misunderstood.
- LDL cholesterol levels alone may not accurately predict coronary disease risk.
- Knowing individual risk factors and questioning medical advice is crucial for informed decision-making.
27:13 * Metabolic syndrome and statin risks*
- Understanding personal risk factors is essential for managing metabolic syndrome.
- The risk of statin use for metabolic syndrome reversal should be weighed against the risk of side effects.
- Personalized healthcare decisions based on individual risks are more effective than blanket prescriptions.
28:35 * Carnivore diet and skin conditions*
- Transitioning to a carnivore diet can alleviate inflammatory skin conditions.
- High-carbohydrate diets may exacerbate conditions like folliculitis.
- Carnivore diet can positively impact skin health due to reduced inflammation and bacterial feeding.
33:26 * Lifestyle changes and well-being*
- Adopting a carnivore diet can lead to improved body image and confidence.
- Enjoying fashion and feeling vibrant are common benefits experienced on the carnivore diet.
- Positive lifestyle changes contribute to overall well-being and energy levels.
35:42 * Importance of community support*
- Community support plays a vital role in maintaining motivation and accountability on the carnivore journey.
- Sharing experiences and knowledge within a supportive community fosters personal growth and success.
- Accessing reliable information and guidance from experienced practitioners enhances the carnivore experience.
48:08 *💬 Community engagement and support*
- Regular SPG meetings offer support and camaraderie for carnivore members.
- Opportunities for engagement include weekly doctor sessions and daily open chat meetings.
- Access to challenges and resources fosters a supportive carnivore community.
48:50 *👓 Lifestyle recommendations for eye protection*
- Wearing blue light blocking glasses, such as those from Boncharge, can protect eyes from digital strain.
- Boncharge offers a range of biohacking products, including infrared sauna blankets, for reducing stress and inflammation.
- Incorporating eye protection and stress-reducing practices into daily routines enhances overall well-being.

Dr. Berry had a link to a report about several studies which I printed and gave to my Dr. because he was worried about my LDL which had gone from 115 to 210 on Carnivore eating. My Dr. already knew I would not take a Statin.
I was prescribed a statin too..
Congrats for using Dr. Berry's summary of the Women's Health Initiative and the graphic he produced for that talk on heart health. Stay strong.

Good job!! 👍🏻
Wonderful! The last pounds can be the toughest to lose, don’t give up!
So happy for this retired Doctor…Mr. Phil Smith! He looks very cheerful & sounds happy! Congrats! 🥳🥩👍🏻
Retired or not he is still Dr. not Mr. He earned that title.
God brought you to this place...celebrate Him opening your eyes. Stay well.
I love it! In the IT field there's a term called SME. It stands for subject matter expert. And that's what he's saying you are! And you are! Kudos To the steak and butter gang! 🌟👏👏👏👏
Just love hearing the healing and knowledge. Thank you Bella for bringing Dr. Phil on!!
What a cute older man. He is so genuine and I believe completely honest. His excitement is contagious.

I eat Himalayan pink salt with every meal, drink electrolytes when I need to and supplement with digestive enzymes, plenty of whole food based minerals, D3, multiple magnesiums, zinc etc. etc
*One of the biggest changes is I'M NOT SO FOCUSED on FASTING!!
What a great success!
U did awesome!
I used to love Himalayan salt until I learned that it sometimes has lead and arsenic in it. I've switched to Redmond salt.
My third time watching as a retired nurse. So proud of you coming out with your story. You encouraged me to get back on the wagon! Thank you!
Wish you well this time around. Stay strong.
Yes! Sbg has a track record. This is great to have a complete interview with doc Phil!

You are so kind with your words. What was your husband requoting?
@@philsmith3827
I sent my husband this interview of your experience then after he watched it, Fred (my husband) was telling me about your experiences.
I love it when Drs come out and prove themselves wrong
Oh wow that what awesome. Now am debating if that’s what I need to do and join a community. Stalled for the last 8 months after having lost near 140lbs… still holding on with no results I may need to look at this feasting regimen drphil mentioned. 🤔 I am very intrigued 🙏 thank you 🙏

@@joanneclark8256 I went carnivore 20 months ago. Can’t afford meat everyday so I am mostly living off eggs and butter and canned sardines in water. I am in recovery from a combo of under-eating carnivore and serious gi issues. This video is right on. Thanks all!
Under eatting meat?
How did you get well
It all happened really quickly.
What caused the GI infections? Were you obese? What was the main reason you went on the carnivore diet?..❤
Great video! 😊I'm on my 34 day of carnivore, and have lost 48 pounds. Joint pains are gone in addition to much better skin. It's so uplifting to see other people succeed as well.
48 lbs in 34 days amazing
I just noticed all those white teeth I heard that is one side effect
I call bs you don’t lose weight that fast
Wow. What a great interview.

Good morning, friend!!
Good morning from West Tn.

Richard, always great to see your comment from Copperhill TN.
I struggle with vacations also. We are going to Scotland in August with friends and I’m afraid there is going to be very few choices
Consider small, more frequent meals for two weeks
Thank you Dr Phil for the advice, I will try that!

Wow. What a testimony. I hope you find healing.
I eat just about any animal product that I like.
So meat is enough lol
Not really. I had to do priming to break my chronic under-eating issue. That is the moral of the story.
Happy Friday Steak & Butter Gang ♥️♥️♥️you all from Portland Oregon💫💥✨
I am gaining weight on carnivore, 2 weeks into this way of eating. I have committed to 90 days to see if this works. I want to drop weight, not gain it! We'll see. Meat, eggs, water, butter, a little sliced swiss cheese with eggs. Concerned on weight gain, but patient.
Some need to initially cut out cheese for a season for best results. Great to add for those needing weight gain.
Same! I’ve learned it takes time to become fat adapted in order to burn. I’m adding more fat and less protein so 1:1.5 protein to fat ratio for my meals. And also eating butter by itself as a snack between my meals. I’m always craving fat which evidently my body is asking for.

He is wonderful!! Thank you for introducing him to us; I wish he was my doctor.

So wonderful hearing his journey and I’m 78 so I want many more years too. I love Bella and found her first, then Emily and Raymond. I identify well with Bella, but I’m gonna get that book too!

Really helpful thanks guys
Dr. Phil is so humble, so great and so wholesome. I have chills listening to him. His words made my heart smile ❤
The doctor should know by now that anyone with seasonal flus and colds is almost certainly vitamin D3 deficient.
If you have blood sugars in the 200 to low 300’s how can you lose ANY weight?!?! I was on carnivore for 30 days and lost nothing!
I was on carnivore for a little over 3 months without losing an ounce! But once it started, I lost 30 lbs in less than 3 months. Be patient, my friend! It is different for everyone.
Me too
What I've had to realize is that I have to fast more when my blood sugar is high. Also include walking and sprints on a bike and body weight exercises. You have to burn it off some way. I'm type 2. Focus on lowering your blood sugar that comes first. ❤️🩹
Priming first, then do fasting regimens. May take weeks to months. Those blood sugar levels are high.

PRIMING!!! Yes thank you. I needed to hear this again, I had forgotten all about priming.
Goat ribs sound great. I love lamb ribs at Jack Stacks in Kansas City. I will have to look for goat ribs. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate you Dr.Phil smith MD! Thank-you!
Great, inspiring testimony of a dr.md on carnivore diet! Congrats to SBgang for being instrument in dr. Phil's recovery from his severe illnesses!
This was an amazing, video. Thank you
Meat alone is not enough for testosterone. I went from 334 to 960 in around 3 months with a varied balanced diet with no nutrient deficiencies. This book should be essential reading for all men

Did he say he got this heart issue from being hit by a truck? What was the virus?
That was a bit confusing. I believe he was using "hit by a truck" figuratively to describe how badly the virus affected him.
I am sorry. “Hit by a Truck!” Is an idiom in the American English that means an event the is “both unexpected and devastating “. It does not refer to being hit by a literal truck. Yes, it was an unexpected and devastating viral infection that attacked my heart.
bart kay has the biggest discord carnivore community. it's really helped me not give up. I've made so many good friends in there. it doesn't cost to join either.
Yeah mate Bart Kay is shit hot he safe my ass and gives the doctor's shit 😅
Oooh, thanks for this tip about that community. The only problem I’ve had on my 1 yr carnivore journey is being alone in it.
