I'm gonna be honest, I have little to no idea on any of the wuwa gameplay mechanics but Moosashi is always entertaining so here I am, watching him explain why cooking is so important in this game, apparently. ♡
Cooking with characters that have special dishes is a nice touch.
in 1:53 if u play 2 times and get 2K score each they will count is 4K in the point reword so you still can get it with solo rover but you need to grind

Yeah food buffs make the fight go faster and you're well defended too (unless the boss just totally does a lot more damage lol). Usually had them when fighting the hologram challenges.
I usually always have a bunch of food buff despite hitting over 5k with each tick of skill(way more than enough at ul37)

......Ok, so I didn't really read the food descriptions, so I didn't realize it was this crazy. Wow. That said, I can't figure out where we're supposed to get some recipes. There's those really cute little bunny dumplings and I can't make them, only buy them?
Did you buy all of Panhua's recipes?
theyre either bought from panhua, obtained through the book journal thing, casket turn in rewards or obtained from upgrading cooking level :D
As others have commented: Guidebook chapters, Cooking levels, and Sonance Caskets can all grant recipes. Certain shops sell them as well, including Panhua (restaurant owner) and Ganxue (girl in pink who takes those wood shards).
The Illusive Realm has my favorite gameplay in the whole game, looking forward to it! It reminds me of Risk of Rain 2, a game that works similarly, where in order to get stronger you have to collect different items that synergise with one another.
loving this series! im kind of curious, are you planning to break into the 1.1 area without doing the main quests somehow? it would definitely feel on par, given you're broken into norfall barrens lol

My only rover gameplay has been going well, it’s just about getting consistent. Scar is one of my favourite bosses, his attacks are so clean and cool.

I basically never use food buffs. Healing is fine, but buffing my team with consumables makes me feel like I'm compensating for a lack of skill. I'd rather take twice as long during a fight than use food buffs. That said, I don't hold it against anyone else.
Hahaha I’m your exact opposite! I’m completely fine using buffs but not healing food, because I feel like the goal is not to get hit in the first place. Granted I frequently fail at that, but still, the challenge is fun.
But I am the same in not judging anyone for using any of it. After all it’s in the game - so it’s fair game to anyone who wants to use them. 😌
Usually, I'm in this same boat as well. But since I started using severely under-leveled characters in these kinds of games, I found that seeking out strong recipes and using the buffs they grant is actually rather interesting.

I think you can use intro skill with single character. When I was in a domain in coop I could just hit the number btn for my character and it would do intro skill

i dont know if we are able to use foods in end game content like the tower and illusive and if not then for me i dont want to get used to food buff because overworld is easy except for the holograms.. kinda like in genshin where foods doesnt work in the abyss.

Yep. Much like Kafka's quest in HSR, you can opt out of Scar's nonsense entirely by telling him to fuck off enough times.

how did you get 5 star echo every time. It took me 4 redmist boss to get a 5star echo, others are 4 star

For the Elites (red mist), I believe the 5-star drop is dependent on the enemy's level. For the weaker ones that are levels 35 - 50, I do not think they drop 5-stars.
