Step 5: Piss Chaos off for the first time ever and teach the primordial creator animosity In Hades 1 Chaos was a blank slate with curiosity. They created the world but hadn't yet interacted with it greatly and experienced the emotions that comes with that. Zagreus started this on a hugely positive note and things really pushed along with Nyx reconnecting. It was neat cuz Chaos was being raised by their children and creations. However Chaos was still naive and pure hearted. Now they've been taught how to hate and oh boy. Really can't wait to see how supergiant pays this off.
Yea. Most people don't realize how powerful the Cthonic Gods were because after the Greek dark ages they focused more on the Olympians and fleshing them out. Theres a reason, for example, during the Odyssey that Zeus was VERY careful not to piss of "The mother of night" when she started complaining of the shenanigans going around causing her some idle headaches.

Chaos is pretty indifferent. They don’t seem to care much for how everything turns out because the universe is a giant experiment. They made reality, set some parameters and sat back to watch it all play out. Even talking to you they don’t regard you in any way like a person. They talk to you like someone talking to a program they made. Even when talking about Chronos they didn’t care and were more concerned they compromised the integrity of the experiment on accident.

Honestly, it could be possible. Dumb theory, but what if in the game, we can free her (and maybe Persephone) and thus then can then grant boons. It’s a dumb thought, but we are still in Early Access, and I’m certain we’ll get at least 1 or 2 new gods along with Eris, Athena and Dionysus
Spoiler: after you find Hades he gives you boons. So, it's probable that Persephone, Nyx and even Zagreus give you boons too when we finally rescue them

Ouranus is not Chronos' father in Hades 2. You see, in Greek myth, there are two characters with his name: Chronos, the primordial incarnation of time, and Kronos, the titan of agriculture. The two are often thought to be the same, and Hades 2 played with this by actually having them be the same, but in actual myth they're not, Chronos is the son of Chaos and a brother to Nyx, while Kronos is the son of Ouranus (sky) and Gaia (earth) and father to Zeus and his siblings, and he has a scythe because of his association with agriculture (and he cut Ouranus' dick off because the children of Ouranus and Gaia were being born and squished between earth and sky, so the dick cutting caused Ouranus to fly off onto the top of the world). Hades 2 mixes them by having Chronos as the titan of time, and a direct son of Chaos, so in this continuity, he'd be a brother to Oceanus.

Nah, if Nyx is up and moving she's fighting for the house back too. Remember that it's ultimately her domain that he's taken, she just permits Hades to wield the bulk of the authority and ruling while she prioritizes maintaining the realm itself. Plus he still has Zagreus, Thanatos, Meg, Persephone, and the rest of the house staff that she clearly cared about even if she didn't see them as family. Even if Chaos suggested that they simply withdraw from the conflict, I can't see her going along with it - I think it's more likely she'd fight regardless, and Chaos would ultimately join in her efforts. Chronos would have had to deal with the wrath of Night Incarnate AND Primordial Chaos in the aftermath, not just Chaos.

Plus he need to rally an army quickly, and the undead are the most obvious choice - they don't care about injury, obey him without question, and can be brought back to fight again immediately with the underworld wide open. With control of the underworld he has a near endless supply

Chaos doesn't really 'do' manipulation or lying and thanks to Zagreus' meddling in the prior game Chaos became more open to friendly and familial contact.

I think this design implies how chaos got closer to nyx and zagreus and is now taking a more human form as a physical manifestation of their now better relationship

Which suits Chaos pretty well; I'm not sure they even have a full body in the first game, all you can see is head, torso, arms, and roiling mass of distorted faces. I think what I'm trying to get at is Hades Chaos went hard in a way Hades 2 Chaos just kind of doesn't. I guess it does make sense if this is a more sociable persona, but if there's one thing that primordial Chaos shouldn't be it's stuck in one shape; the premise of the sequel seems to preclude Chaos getting to go have friendly visits with people, so why aren't they in some extra-spicy angry abomination shape instead?
