      @GooglyGook12 just personafies chaos too much, makes it less grand and ancient and more sissy and quirky and using they them for it feels like using something new to describe something older than everything before we used pronouns like we did today.
      Especially its character design, greatly inferior to the original. Too orderly, too neat, not very chaotic but people like it because Chaos is hot now.

      Step 5: Piss Chaos off for the first time ever and teach the primordial creator animosity
      In Hades 1 Chaos was a blank slate with curiosity. They created the world but hadn't yet interacted with it greatly and experienced the emotions that comes with that. Zagreus started this on a hugely positive note and things really pushed along with Nyx reconnecting. It was neat cuz Chaos was being raised by their children and creations. However Chaos was still naive and pure hearted. Now they've been taught how to hate and oh boy. Really can't wait to see how supergiant pays this off.

      Chaos is pretty indifferent. They don’t seem to care much for how everything turns out because the universe is a giant experiment. They made reality, set some parameters and sat back to watch it all play out. Even talking to you they don’t regard you in any way like a person. They talk to you like someone talking to a program they made. Even when talking about Chronos they didn’t care and were more concerned they compromised the integrity of the experiment on accident.

    • @Macaulyn_97
      @Macaulyn_97 5 месяцев назад +34

      Ouranus is not Chronos' father in Hades 2. You see, in Greek myth, there are two characters with his name: Chronos, the primordial incarnation of time, and Kronos, the titan of agriculture. The two are often thought to be the same, and Hades 2 played with this by actually having them be the same, but in actual myth they're not, Chronos is the son of Chaos and a brother to Nyx, while Kronos is the son of Ouranus (sky) and Gaia (earth) and father to Zeus and his siblings, and he has a scythe because of his association with agriculture (and he cut Ouranus' dick off because the children of Ouranus and Gaia were being born and squished between earth and sky, so the dick cutting caused Ouranus to fly off onto the top of the world). Hades 2 mixes them by having Chronos as the titan of time, and a direct son of Chaos, so in this continuity, he'd be a brother to Oceanus.

      Nah, if Nyx is up and moving she's fighting for the house back too. Remember that it's ultimately her domain that he's taken, she just permits Hades to wield the bulk of the authority and ruling while she prioritizes maintaining the realm itself. Plus he still has Zagreus, Thanatos, Meg, Persephone, and the rest of the house staff that she clearly cared about even if she didn't see them as family.
      Even if Chaos suggested that they simply withdraw from the conflict, I can't see her going along with it - I think it's more likely she'd fight regardless, and Chaos would ultimately join in her efforts. Chronos would have had to deal with the wrath of Night Incarnate AND Primordial Chaos in the aftermath, not just Chaos.
