Yes, I agree. I like to see recipes in a book where I can just have the pages there in front of me. I prefer rather than scrolling on tablet 😊 I am sure many other's would appreciate this also, considering Steff's cooking and baking is awesome 👌
You should write a cookbook, but with your flow. I love how one recipe turns into another, with no waste. It’s a speciality that’a been cultivated throughout years and many could use this wisdom. Thank you!
Loved the automatic hand to protect the jars and little one when you were pouring into the beans 😂❤️ without even looking… mom instincts! Love your channel
Steph, I just found your channel and have almost watched every video... you are amazing and I love the content. You've taught me so much! Can you please share where your red-rimmed glasses are from? They're gorgeous... all of your glasses are.
I really wish I could wake up so early. I’m envious of those able to get to sleep at 10 and wake up for 5:30. My body refuses to wake up before 8 even if I’ve gone to bed early. I used to wake up early and I’d love waking up to listen to the birds before the hustle and bustle of everyday life, get some cleaning done and out of the way before the kids wake up, etc
Your arms looks so strong! I’m a young mom and I think it’s so cool when mamas have strong muscles from caring for a family and home! It shows that you work hard !❤️
I'm definitely a morning person too and feel more productive first thing in the day . By the time evening rolls around I'm just DONE for the day. Love your content!
Hey Stephanie, I am a new subscriber I absolutely love your channel you are very wise for your years, I love your farm life you are such a hard worker keep up the good work can’t wait to your next video🥰
4:15 am every morning for me! My best time is early in the morning! I’m always ups before my kids and ready to go when they get up! I love the very quiet early mornings. Same with the griddle. Ours is always out and always a permanent on the oven!
Hello from western CO! I am a new sub. I mainly watch garden, cooking and diy content but found you and so glad I did. I really appreciate seeing your lifestyle and the value it brings to your family. I enjoyed seeing the kiddos helping you with chores. I'm working on teaching my 31/2 yo how to help around the house. Great job on your videos and info you share.
We just wrapped up 4-H fair too, I feel you on the sleeping in and catching up! 😂 Going to catch up on some gardening today, I hope to get a nice crop to can after a late start due to such a cool/ rainy season. 🙏 Love watching another mama who's further along the path I've started down! Bless you! ❤
I’m right there with ya, Ii was kind of worried about lack of rain earlier in the summer but we’ve more than made up for it so lots of canning in my future to wrap up the summer!
@@HopewellHeights yay! So glad your garden caught up, gives me hope for mine! 40 tomato plants that are just now flowering, my squash is going nuts, and so much more... I'm going to be busy once everything is ready for harvest! I also have to move beef around in the freezer to make room for the 1/2 hog we bought from one of our 4-H girls. Haha! But it's such a rewarding feeling, doing all we do to help our family live more like the Lord intended in this crazy world. ❤
I’ve been married 34 years and I have always gotten up between 4-5 a.m to start my day. I have to time to sit alone with my black coffee and Bible time before I start my day. I like to get things done early in the morning or the rest of my day just seems off .
I’m definitely a morning person. I get up at 4 am every morning to workout and the dogs walked before work. Loving your channel! Newer subscriber here ❤ Do you have hard water? Looks like there’s a film of hard water on your lids after they got done in the canner… I put half a cup of vinegar in the canner when I’m canning and that gets rid of the hard water residue on the lids
With regard to ear infections, when kids are really little their eustachian tubes are not as angled and don’t drain as well as when they get a little bit older and so that allows fluid to accumulate when they get colds sometimes and that can cause your pain. Not sure how garlic can fix that. Not saying it doesn’t, but just not sure how that would work.
Yeah I wake up EVERYDAY at 2:30-3am.. I am so used to it. And I call it a day about 5pm. That is the only way you can wake up early is to go to bed early!! Right! Right!
May I ask you what stone grain grinder you recommend? I’m very interested in grinding my own grains. Manual or electric? And which brand? 😊 thank you so much
Lovely video! I had a gallon of sourdough starter today that I needed to use so I used 6 cups for pancakes for the kids’ dinner tonight and a sourdough discard pizza for me and the hubby 😊 Love Earthley products! 🙌
Hi! I’m new to canning and have a few questions I hope this don’t sound stupid but 1. Do you pre heat your water in your pressure canner like have it starting to boil while preparing the jars? And 2. I canned tomatoes for the first time and I only have 1 water bath canner and I had to do it in turns and it took forever to get my water to a rolling boil 😔 I feel like there’s a secret lol I have a flat top stove could that be the problem? 3. Is there anything you can that you don’t use the pressure canner or water bath? I had people telling me I could got pack tomatoes and turn them upside down and that would seal them? 4. When you can tomatoes do you add lemon juice? Or salt? I added both and was told they were acidic enough and I didn’t need to but I want to be safe from bacteria and make sure I’m doing it all right… any and all advice appreciated thank you ❤️
I’m fairly new to canning too and my understanding is that whatever the temperature of the contents that’s in your jars is the temperature the water in your canner should be. You risk breaking jars if you put cold jars in a boiling canner or hot jars in a cold canner. Mary’s Nest has excellent canning tutorials. She really breaks everything down and is very easy to follow. Also, look into getting the Ball Canning books (either the Blue Book or the Complete Book of Home Preserving). The Ball books are the gold standard in the canning world. I hope some of this info helped!!
I have been rewatching your videos one by one looking for the magnesium drink you make, I just got my soda stream but now I cannot find the video to see how you made it. Do you know which video it is in? Thank you
I don't know if you've mentioned this in a video before, but where did you get your really long cutting board? And how long is it? I love how much you get done every day!
Hello there. I couldn't help but notice you have wood floors in your kitchen. What type of finish do you have on them. I am notorious for running my sink over and my floor hasn't faired well.
Why on earth are you blanching green beans before pressure canning them. I have canned for 40 years and that is definitely a step you can bypass. Love you videos. Keep them coming.
You can’t have to, but I do it this way, called hot packing, because you can fit more beans into each jar. I’ve done it both ways and have found the extra step to be worth it to reduce wasted space in jars
Why do you blanch before canning? I've never done that and never seen anyone else do that. There's no need for it unless you freeze. Explain? I wash, snap, raw cold pack, and throw them in the canner. You work too much 😂
Makes them much less mean and dangerous. Also don’t have to worry about keeping him separated from mom and other cows for the rest of his time which likely will be another year or two
You should make a cook book. Food looks amazing ❤❤❤❤

Maybe someday! I’ll have to start writing my recipes down!
Being up before everyone I feel starts my day out right! I am able to get some things accomplished and spend some time with the Lord! ❤
Exactly! Sets such a great tone for the day
Countryside , s life better .thanks sharing .

I do the same thing. Love getting up before anyone else.

Hello! I just discovered your channel, I love it! Wondering if you could tell me where you found your measuring spoons and cups?
I hear you about those odd hours except l am one of the night owls. It’s 11:45 and I’m making pasta salad for tomorrow 🤣
This is my husband too, loves staying up late! So funny how different people can be!

Yes I can relate! Also with the carrier, my little guy is 15 months and doesn’t care for it as much( becoming so independent)☹️
Thanks for the great content!!!
It’s always a bummer when the magic of the back carry wears off!

A lovely summer day. What time do you go to bed at night to get up that early? It sounds lovely! Also love your dress, where did you find that!?
❤
I don't know if you've mentioned this in a video before, but where did you get your really long cutting board? And how long is it? I love how much you get done every day!
It’s huge! It was actually handmade locally, a gift from my mom 😊

Yes we do! They are sugar pine
@@HopewellHeights thank you! Hope you all are getting some rain soon. We in Texas are hoping!
Great Channel- Really like your apron- Can you tell us all where to get one?
Etsy!
My goal is to try getting up early this school year. I'm a night owl so this would be hard for me.
Can you link your apron??🙏🏼

What about chicory root, roasted, ground for coffee? Has health benefits
The herbal blend I use has chicory in it, so good!
Weird question, I like your apron. Did you make that? What type of fabric is that? Is that just a woven cotton?
It’s from Etsy!
@@HopewellHeightscould you share the sellers name?
Where do you order your earthly all purpose salve?

I could not imagine calf sharing with my girls
We get between 7 & 10 gal each girl
Not gonna happen with producers
Wow!! That’s awesome!
Where is this dress from?
This was a clearance find at kohls!
interesting, the lighting should be better ,kinda dark by stove

How far are you pregnant
