That's a great plan. The Fire Max 11 would work in the main living space but it might be frustrating if others are using it while you want to set a timer or something. I would add an Echo Show device that is always there but maybe that is best in the Kitchen.
DO NOT buy an Echo Show!!!! They are now FULL of ads. It used to be most ads could be disabled in the settings, but now Amazon forces ads for Alexa Skills (aka apps) that can be temporarily blocked, until the show updates and then they come back. Let's say your home screen is a clock with your photos as a background. NICE right? Used to be. Now you get ads for Alexa Jeopardy, Bedtime stories, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader-- those pop up a lot. You can disable them one by one if you're fast, when they pop up, but they only go away until the next update. Updates seem to be for the purpose of refreshing the ads, and happen often. AND lately, when I ask Alexa for the weather, after the first screen of info, the second screen of weather data is, no exaggeration, 80% taken up by ads for suggested products.

Yes, but u gotta do a ton of stuff to get google play to support those
It takes a windows pc and 10 minutes. Removed the ads and installed a bunch of apps from Google Play Store.
There are tutorials right here on RUclips on how to do it.
Does this work as a drawing tablet? Does it have pressure censors or color options?
I've seen on a different vid that it seems to have pressure control
Can you Connect it to cell carrier?
I don't see one with a cellular network.

@@datrucksdavea2080it's actually easy as pie to sideload Google Play Store on, takes mere minutes. I have it on my Fire 10 HD and I will have it on my Fire Pro 11 Max when I get it.
