For a few years I’ve been able to view my at home DVR recordings remotely….from another state. Now suddenly Verizon tells me I’ll no longer be able to do this because I’m using Fire Tablet 10 Gen 7. Something about its old operating system.
When I called in I was told I should be OK with the newer Fire Tablet because of its newer operating system. Do you understand this?
I am very happy with my Fire HD 10. Browsing the web, watching RUclips and Prime, playin some very light games... for me there is no reason for upgrading to the Fire Max 11 (unless it becomes very cheap in a sale). Good video!

It's definitely worth it because iOS just gets worse and worse every time I use it. I just wish Amazon would sell the hardware and let me install whatever I want... stock Android, Ubuntu Touch, etc.

thanks fot the video really needed this comparison because i have had the 10 for 2 years now and i have been happy.. mainly use it for movies and light work with office365 when on holiday or away from the office and it served me just fine. here i see that the 11 is not that huge step worth investing in to. I DONT USE IT FOR GAMES so maybe thats y i dont need the performance. gr8 video btw
I just want something that doesn't lag when playing hearthstone. but it's not really worth getting a proper expensive tablet, because it's only used like every other Friday.
Was tempted to get this, but it doesn't seem like that big of an upgrade tbh.

@@hellokyle_it worked for me, I was able to get the Productivity Bundle for $153.99. I had to do the 64GB with Ads Version, but I can just pay to get those off later.

All in all, excellent deal for me. Basically ended up getting almost exactly what I paid originally in credits (bought mine for $99.99 in 2019)

I have both and the fire 11 is a total game changer! It feels expensive AF! the graphics on the 11 are also wayyyy better. I got the productivity set with the keyboard and stylus and my baby uses the 10hd. I was able to install the google play store on both. Both are great tablets.
What happens with OS updates?
Is the actual computer any faster? I can tell that there are a lot of cosmetic improvements, but I'm wondering if it's the same processor with a better case.

@@chan13153 It doesn’t. The iPad is a way better product. The fire tablet however is a great option if you’re looking for something that feels nice, works great and is super affordable.

Probably yes, better storage on 11, as long as you don't mind no headphone jack
its not a proportional increase in "bang" for the increase in "buck"... not having 6gb of RAM is really killing the viability of the Max11 and makes it not worth it IMO.
I have both the fire Max 11 and the HD 10 (2023) and the HD screen looks way better. Why is that?? Fire max suppose to have better resolution

@@FishBeeProductions I think its a gift card plus 20% off which brings it down to $120 if i get it without the stylus. I'd probably get more selling my 2021 10 and new 10+ elsewhere though. Especially when amazon could just say both of my tablets are only worth a few dollars.

the only thing max about the Fire Max 11 is those BEZELS, good grief. just get a used ipad for 200 and enjoy the premium tablet experience
Fire max 11 has been a bit of let down for me. It's much better than its 10 inch brother in terms of performance. But, the video quality on youtube leaves a lot to be desired.
Firemax 11 is one of the best tablet one can get under £200. But, if you want a sharp screen, go for an older generation ipad.

A brand new iPad 9th generation is $329 versus the Fire Max 11 is $229, so $100 difference. I'd suggest grabbing a used iPad 8th generation, then they can get around the same price point but FAR better performance. Storage, and battery life will be a issue since those are used and older. I picked up my HD 10 Plus for $123 when on sale, none plus was $80 when on sale. A possible alternative is the SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A8 when on sale is also $229 is will match the performance or better, plus full Google Play support.
Ipad's are overated as fuck. Who wants to be stuck in an apple echo system. Your so limited on what you can do
