I'm genuinely impressed by the amount of data the SVBONY SV705C captured from those deep sky objects. Fantastic job on the processing, too!

I have an SvBony 705c (asi 585) and an SvBony 405cc (asi 294). Love 'em both.

Ive been using this camera for more than a year long to do DS and is fabolous, the most afordable way to get galaxies in the market.

Interested in this camera to have kind of a balance between planetary and deepsky imaging, also love the quality of it, svbony makes great stuff i have their sv405cc camera works very well

Hello there and thank you for the helpful video!! I'm using a Celestron 130 SLT and the SVBONY SV705c with Sharpcap. I set my exposure time at 10 maybe 15s most and Gain settings at almost 500...! I see you are using completely different settings for gain and exposure time. Have I been doing it wrong this whole time?

Gain can reduce the amount of contrast in your deep sky objects, you should generally not go above 200, especially in deep sky imaging. If you plan on taking exposures longer than 180s, you can Lower the gain to 100, and if you want to take less than that, I'd still say 200 is the max gain you should use, especially for a Planetary camera

@@ScottCastrophotography so do these values also apply to planetary shooting? Thank you for the valuable information!!

@stamelhombre planetary you can adjust the gain as you please, and you'd want a shorter exposure time ranging from 20ms to 200ms
