      Hey, thanks, Lisa! I am still going to try your suggestion for a cone 6 slowish cool. Going away for a week but it will be the first firing after that! Congrats on putting your pieces in the summer gallery! I wish you much success.

      Thanks, Nat! After doing the 50/50 trick, I am also excited to try it with different celadons. Looking forward to seeing your mulberry results! Not too many drips in this one since it's a slow cool. I didn't want to risk the bloating. I am going away next week but after that, I have cone 6 going in. Thanks for chiming in again, Sista!

    Hi Audrey, I loved this kiln unloading! Some beautiful glazes and I loved the Passion Fruit one. Also the Norse blue and River birch is such a nice blue. Also thanks for giving me ideas for other speckled clays to try! Thank you!❤❤❤

      Thanks so much, Ana! I have done the Birch and Norse combo since I started potting. It never disappoints. I have used it on Allport of clays, and it always works! Thanks for saying HI! Happy Creating!

      @anasclayhouse Hi Ana, it's Birch....just Birch, not River Birch. Oh I am glad you asked. Looking forward to seeing your results! ❤️

      @@anasclayhouse AND this time I did two coats of each. Sometimes, I do three coats off each, especially on dark clay

      I’ve used this glaze years ago and I remember I always had great results with it. 🫶🏻

      It makes me happy that I taught you something about pinholes. They are a nuisance! So glad you also like Cherry Blossom! I used it on white clay with an Albany Slip Brown Rim...it turned out sooooo pretty! Happy Creating!

    I just bought Cherry Blossom but I’m going to use it on white clay. Do you put Norse Blue under Birch or over? It’s a very pretty result. Yes, please, to videos on your hand built mug and bowl. This was a great kiln opening and I always look forward to them!

    • @AudreyLynnStudios
      @AudreyLynnStudios  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Mary! I have also used the cherry Blossom on white clay. I really like it, but I have always been a fan of a ballet pink. The combo on the planter is 2x birch and then 2x Norse over with a 2x band of light flux. Although, I have reversed the application, and it still turns out nice, AND I have used 3 and 3 coats, too. It also looks great on dark clay. OK, thanks for saying you would like a vid on those two pieces. Also, thank you so much for your kind compliments. I am thrilled you like to watch my vids. Happy Creating!

      @@AudreyLynnStudios Thanks for the answer! I’m glazing pieces for my first art show and stressing over which combinations to use. I got Cherry Blossom because I needed a celadon but I also like the pink you mentioned as well as Rose Quartz but it’s not great on texture.

    On the little trinket dish with the tree of life stamp in the middle, where did you get the tree of life stamp? And on the pretty pale blue berry cup with saucer, is that speckled buff clay? And on that last piece, the big bowl, what kind of clay was that? (I love the speckled clays also.)

    • @AudreyLynnStudios
      @AudreyLynnStudios  6 месяцев назад

      Hello, the tree of life stamp is actually a wax stamp. Here is a link to one from Amazon: amzn.to/3Uo5mYi
      The clay I used is Plainsman 340s which is a speckle . Hope that helps
