Beautiful pieces - thanks for showing us. Can you tell us which company has “mossy birch”?
My mistake, Spanish moss by spectrum
❤️❤️❤️
love to watch your video! You are my inspiration!
I am a little confused about glaze ordering of the mug with floating turquoise with blue glaze on bottom.
What I understand is that you poured blue mazarine glaze inside of the mug, and also dipped the lower part of the mug with the same glaze.
Then 3x floating turquoise on upper part of the mug and then add blue hydrangea over top of it?
I am trying to follow this glaze combo on my mug but I'm not quite sure I understand correctly.
I am preparing a Christmas gift for my family.
Hi! I paint 2x of floating blue on the top 1/3 of the mug! I then pour the blue glaze on the inside of the mug and dip the bottom of the mug in the same glaze up to and over lapping slightly the floating turquoise! I then pour blue hydrangea over the floating turquoise, if you are hand painting I would do 2x
@@undsethpottery thank you so much for your response.
I am trying to make a few mugs by following your recipe.
Can’t wait to see your next kiln opening.
so how did you get rid of the pin holing?
love your mugs :)
The new floating glazes seem to not pin hole and blister! If I do get pinching or blistering though I usually add a layer of honey flux and fire again!
Great stuff! What firing schedule are you using?
Top temp is 2190 hold 10 min drop to 2075 hold 30 min
@@undsethpottery thanks! I do the first hold but think I’ll ad the second and see if I get better results.
mossy birch?" where can I get some ? Please and TIA (is it a glaze you mixed yourself or is it store bought?---I'm dying to find out again TIA
Sorry, not mossy birch, Spanish moss by spectrum!
