  • Theresa May says she "won't be afraid" to tell Donald Trump if he says or does anything she feels is "unacceptable". The two will hold talks in the White House on Friday on issues such as trade and security, with the prime minister being the first foreign leader to meet the US President since he took office. She told the BBC that the special relationship between the two countries enabled her to raise difficult matters. She insisted she had a "strong track record" of defending women's rights.

The reporter needs to give the PM time to finish before asking another question or contradicting her. That's insane!

If there's one thing I like about Theresa May she is openly vague and doesn't try to disguise the fact. Good on you just what we need as a PM.

I don't think she thinks at all, she just scape from questions or try to be very much politically correct, disappointed.

She's hardly likely to start bashing someone as a misogynist face to face. Especially someone she has to toady up to in order to maintain the special relationship and secure future trade deals.

Dont worry about trade deals with the EU, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden are all on the verge of their people being able to vote to leave the EU, based on polls its certainly a real possible and then it wont be a problem any longer.

She wasn't a patch on Thatcher. Weak and indecisive. I hope they go easy on the perversions now that she is gone. She hadn't a clue unfortunately.
