On this episode, I highlight a month of encounters with MULTIPLE BIG Iowa bucks and reflect back on a late November rut hunt with my girlfriend, Lauren. The short highlight reel at the beginning of the video showcases my passion for bowhunting giant whitetails all season long (I do not miss many days to be in a tree). With a few sits left in the Iowa bow season, I was lucky enough to have a huge buck at the base of my tree!!!
Opportunities to bow hunt once in a lifetime deer like this trophy buck are truly few and far between, yet I am blessed with another great encounter. Looking back, this year was a stellar fall and easily my best hunting season yet! As always, I appreciate you taking the time to watch along! Great buck and impressive that you let him walk to see if its his full potential most people probably would have been over tempted to shoot lol...see what he is next year! the hunt was a success in my opinion you had him dead to right.
Got to let ‘em go to let ‘em grow. Bet on the animal to make it one more year. Can’t harvest a 200” deer if you shoot it at 175”. Thanks for watching!

That's what separates you from the vast majority of deer hunters, you have discipline and do not compromise. You got to bet on the deer. Great job by an exceptional hunter and conservationist.

What kind of camera & lens are you using
Sony A7 series with a 70-200 G Master lens. It can be difficult to self film with especially during the rut but the quality is hard to beat. Thanks for watching Alex!
