There will be a limit because most stores will suddenly be out of everything that's on sale they seem to be great about that at the 3 stores closest to me.
I went and got three of them today 8-16-24. They had a decent selection. One I wanted (not needed) has been out of stock since June. So get them while you can.
@@marquez4497 8-17-24. I bought 5 of them today, my father on the other hand bought one of each of them.. stubbys, extended reach, gold plated.. no limit was placed.
I got several nice deals 2 weeks ago or so. They had a Pittsburgh 3 ton low profile floor jack on the opened box pallet. I asked the manager if he knew the details on its condition, he said no, it was sent resealed from another store. My original plan was to pick one up for $95 at the parking lot sale next week but this was marked down to $106 PLUS this was the week where ITC members got 40% off all clearance and open box items. It rang up as like $63. I took it home, put it through its paces and it was in excellent condition. The only sign of use was where you could tell the steel wheels were rolled across the floor, no other signs of usage. That was a great unplanned score. That week I also picked up a 7.5 amp, 1/2 inch corded impact wrench, a 12 amp, 7 1/4 inch circular saw and a 9 amp corded D handle drill, all from the Chicago Electric line. Are they the cream of the crop? No, but all 3 tools came home with me for less than $50 total after the clearance and 40% off was applied. I was a happy camper.
@@AllThingsCool I discovered HF around January 2024. My youngest stepson had graduated college and was off on his own and we became empty nesters. My small garage had become a storage area. I wanted a little place of my own to work on DIY stuff so I “reclaimed” it. I put down some additional flooring for storage in my attic and cleaned up the garage and converted it to a nice little shop. I spent a lot of money at HF at first, I wanted complete tool sets, I had no kids at home anymore to blame missing tools on.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Now, I have a good inventory of tools, 95% from HF, and I now try to buy stuff with super coupons or ITC deals. If I need an emergency tool obviously I’ll get it at regular price but I pride myself on getting deals. ITC is worth it in my opinion, when I signed up it was $30 for the year plus you could get a 2nd year for half price, so I spent $45 on a 2 year membership. Not sure if that is still a thing but maybe that’ll be enough of a perk for you to pull the trigger. I definitely get my moneys worth, big and small purchases. Take today for example, it’s supposed to get windy tonight and then the hurricane is supposed to come up the east coast this weekend. We’re in PA and the wife said I should get some bungee cords for our new patio furniture I just put together yesterday. HF has a 6 pack of various sized cords for something like half off, $2.45 or so each. I picked up 4 packs, I figured I can join them together if I need longer runs. Less than $10 and I saved about $10. That happens all them time, small savings and big savings.
@donnie017 I know what you mean. about the missing tool problem 🤣 still dealing with that but not the blame of my kids it's my wife to blame she's always going in my garage looking for a tool than puts it in a random drawer in the house... I do think imma pull the trigger on the itc membership though I used to buy alotnof tools from harbor freight when I was working on my classic car but now that it's finished I haven't had to buy much in tools. But I do always buy the gloves, tarps, straps and random stuff like that. And I do like the idea of getting first pick when it comes to the Liquidation items during sales like these. So yea I think imma just do it!
If you aren't loading your toolbox with 2.000 pounds of tools, those Yukon 9 drawer boxes are perfect for homeowners. I have one in my office and one in the basement. Probably gonna get another for the garage and thinking about getting one for our kitchen. Perfect for medium duty use.

@@HiFiInsider I got the blue 5 drawer at the parking lot sale a few months ago for $189. I also grabbed the US General magnetic power strip in blue to stick to the underside of the lid. Practical and it looks great together.
I bought one earlier this year and its a great tool cart, wish I would have bought 2 of them and did the double box mod that a few have done and made videos of....a 10 drawer version would be great.
If you really want first dibs on something, and have the cash or credit to do so up front, just go ahead and buy whatever you want within 30 days of the sale and then come back to price match everything during it lol

I just purchased one two days ago. First return I’ll be making in a long time lol. Fresh new D batteries (honestly that in itself sucks but grabbed it at the register). Rechargeable ones are worth it regardless of the price. Anyways I’ll try and swap it out maybe it’s just a bunk one because it may as well not be electrified because it’s a blunt force paddle
@@AllThingsCool It works and I have used it not only on flies, but also box elders, wasps, and stink bugs (the bigger the bug, the longer the jolt needed). To be honest though, it's nowhere as fun as the Bug-A-Salt.
The 5 drawer mechanic's cart is pretty nice, I just wish I would have bought 2 so I could have done the double stack mod that a few have done and posted how to videos on. The bottom shelf under the box section is kind of useless but 10 drawers in a mobile cart that size would be really nice. I bought my Hercules 12" dual bevel sliding compound miter saw during last year's black friday deal for $299...I haven't had the chance to use it very often yet, but the few times I have its done great...a much, much better saw than the old Chicago Electric version ever was. I don't have very much in the way of Icon branded stuff, but the sale is at a terrible time for me financially so I'll be skipping the trip for the foreseeable future. Kind of hoping to toss some money aside and see what happens as far as sales this coming holiday season, got a couple things I'd like to pickup later on.
