This lady must be in her seventies now and is still belting out the tunes. Her work for Yeshua/Jesus is inspiring. Helen is so inspirational and talented. She has used her talent to further the Gospel and has become an iconic figure to believers. May God bless her and may the wind always be to her back!
First time I've ever herd this today, just beautiful im blown away by her voice wow amazing. I'm 47 yrs old & ive never herd of this beautiful singer that is Helen shapiro. Sorry duran duran &petshop boys I've outgrown u this is more me now.
I first met Helen in 1987 she was doing a pop concert at my local Theatre great night then met her after the show such a lovely lady so every time she came to my neck of the woods i would go and see her loved the jazz shows she did with Humpfrey Littleton but then came along the Gospel!!!! I went to a few but really not my thing and especially after the evenings trying to convert me i felt so uncomfortable i saw her during her farewell tour retiring from showbiz took my Mum and a friend and his Mum lovely night until the Gospel stated it put such a dampner on what until then was a lovely evening refused to talk about her 1960s stardom saying that was such a long time ago and should be forgotten!! Mum is the same age as Helen but never liked her much in the 60s a few hit records then she was forgotten by the mid 60s she told me i never went to anymore Gospel i love the 60s Helen but this mumbo gumbo you can keep definitely not for me!!!! 😔
