I knew her and her husband John for many years. I became ill and disappeared for a few years sadly. Still got many pictures that keep those memories alive. So glad to have known them. :*)
I snail mailed a letter from Kuala Lumpur to Helen Shapiro UK Fan Club in the sixties and received a reply that included a photograph copy initialed by the beautiful and talented girl herself. The memorabilia remained with me ever since. "Walkin' Back To Happiness'' every time I hear her voice.
