Thank you so much for showing us all the different designs, I'm getting a Sawgrass 400 tomorrow. I hope I can learn how to use it,I'm 72 yrs old trying to learn how to do all this technology. Again thank you in advance and God bless you. Oh wa Ted to tell you I'm from Alabama.
I am loving the fact that you show every detail and not just the press part. There are Sooo many people doing tutorials and skip everything you need to know. THANKS!
First time watching you and I love how you explain things in detail and where you purchase your machines. I'm David from Rosenberg TX. I was not type of person on doing crafts but after watching you I think I'm hooked, lol. Thanks for sharing and teaching us.
Awesome video. I've been looking for a full video for SG400. I am still debating if I want to order the Chromablast starter kit so I can print on 100% cotton because the Gildan shirts I purchase are 100% cotton.
A+ on the video presentation. Thank you. With the way things are now (Pandemic causing mail delay) I wish I could go in the store and pick up supplies.
Fantastic video. I didn’t know anything about sublimation printing until your video today. It looks like a super cool process and a great opportunity for a small business. Thank you for the detailed, start to finish videos. Hope your girls are feeling better. Wishing you a super week. Hugs Susan
You’re too funny. When I tell my husband I need a Sawgrass printer, I will also tell him not to judge me! Thank you so much for the informative videos.
Thank you so much for starting this series! I have a SG400 still in the box because I didn't know where to begin. I bought the special that Heat Press Nation had going on last year for Black Friday. I am feeling excited about getting mine out of the box. I'm looking forward to the future videos.
lovelymsL1 what kind of special did they have? I’ve been saving to go shopping this year since I never get to but... if it’s a good enough deal then I might get this instead. lol 😂
@@Kay_Cee.81 I got the SG400, papers, creative studio, and an automated mug press for $649. All of these things are still in the box :)! I'm going to get to it eventually. I've been busy with HTV but I'm excited to offer this to my clients.
Im so excited to hear you have one this is going to be a ton of fun you are going to love it. You have got to get that out of the box :) double check the dates on your ink as they have an expiration date. I should have waited for black Fridays deal you scored :)
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat I figured I'd have to purchase new inks. I have a vinyl shop local to me that sells sublimation, vinyl, and solvent ink supplies. Quick question, did you notice that Heat Press Nation has the Forever subli-light sublimation paper? They're saying with this paper you can print on 100% cotton and cotton blends. Do you think you could do a review of the paper? I asked Heat press nation if they would review it but they said they don't know when they would get to it. It's pricey compared to the text print R paper. Btw, only if you're interested in printing on cotton. I don't want to tell you how to spend your money. :). Thanks for all of the tutorials!!
I already got some ordered :) so you will be seeing this soon there is another one I ordered as well cant think of it off the top of my head but yes there will be a video very very soon :)
In another tutorial, the lady said that if the shirt does not have enough polyester in it, it might or bleed or whatever after washing. I love your tutorial bc I want to buy the printer and press to make metal signs. Have you done that?
Great tutorial Your a natural teacher. I am looking for a sublimation printer and love your slide out drawer on your heat press. I have a 16 x 20 but its standard and I find it so hard to put tshirts on for placement
Crystal, very interesting video. Didn't realize there was even anything like that out there. I love when you say "Don't judge me" I think you should make a shirt with that printed on it.
Great tutorial! I'm getting ready to get the sawgrass printer. I need to get the list of the paper that you recommend. I have a HIX heat press, an oldie but a goodie!
Thank you for your video. I am a Heat Press Nation client too. I am interested in knowing about the spray that you mentioned for Cotton shirts. Thank you.
Hi CrystalAnn. You chose paper size A4 rather than US Letter and clipped the T on "the." Thanks to you, I now know what sublimation is. I prefer cotton so will likely skip this way of printing.
I was wondering if you needed anything between the front and back of the shirt. Glad to see you did that. Is that something you still do? Have you had any trouble with it since?
Hi there. I just came across your tutorial. I am new in this field, and am trying to get as much info as possible before i take the leap into purchasing a sublimation printer and a heat press. I just have a question regarding the printer. Can you do anything else on the Sawgrass printer besides printing.... Like i just mentioned i am new and i don't want to spend a lot of money at this point and time... seeing that its going to be used as a hobby and make gifts for the family. Would the Epson printer be just as good as the Sawgrass? I would appreciate it if you could be kind enough and give me some advice please. Thanking you in advance and take care and be safe. Kind regards Katerina
I Mevo video truly like it on you inspired me and encouraged me to get one of those printers as well because I do lots of sublimation but we are far my cricket my only question is the following if I wanted to do it in a black collared shirt what type of printer do I need to get curiosity thank you
I have the Sawgrass 800.. I’ve been through sooo much with trial and error to learn exactly how the product works... great video!!! Have your experimented with using the chromoblast ink ( so that you may print on cotton)?
We just purchased this printer came with a different kind of paper not the same brand as yours but our 1st test was on a 100% polyester and for some reason it's coming out really faded hoping to get this going good my daughter is trying to make shirts to sell Not really sure why came out Faded we tried it 2 different times on the same shirt got the same result Both times definitely good video i like the detail you go into
This video was already one year old when I viewed it so this heat press and price does not seem to be available anymore. Most of the heat presses at HPN are so much higher. As a newbie to heat press can you suggest a good heat press within this price range $250-300. Thanks for your help and the great tutorials. I’m subscribed to your channel as I’m thinking about getting into making Tee shirts and I want to start out as affordable as possible to make sure I can work within the realms of sublimation. I do not have a circut machine so I’m trying to figure out what products I need to purchase first. This would be a hobby for me and I want to purchase the correct items needed. I want a decent heat press and sublimation printer. I want to start out making items for family/friends. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks
Thank you for your very indepth video learnt so much. I have the sawgrass 500 that I am overwhelming to use, but not now. Want the bigger one some day. Thanks
Hi, I'm sorry I'm not sure if I missed it, but I don't see it in the description either... what brand/type of heat transfer paper did you use? Thank you!
CrystalAnn, thank you SO much for doing this video! Oh my gosh. I have been looking for someone to do an in-depth video for a while now. You have been so helpful! Thanks again!! I will be saving for one of these printers immediately after Christmas. I've already got a heat press so I'm halfway there. I love working with htv but obviously you can do so many different things with the dye sublimation.
I am not too sure Crystal if I miss it watching the video but I do believe you were going to mention where you got some of your images from. I've watched it all the way through but I didn't hear anything. And I'm sure I missed it. Do you have some recommendations on where to find some images
Where on Etsy are you getting your designs? Nice job with the video. I have the SG800 and have been doing sublimation for the past year. Great fun and always something new to learn..
I’ve been interested in sublimation for a long time but there hasn’t been many videos on it. I realized that those personalized baby blankets on Etsy are sublimated. I’m looking forward to the videos that you will be putting up!
That is right and have you noticed what they are selling for one of the shirt designs I did today those shirts are going for $23 each.. Im so excited I just can't wait to play with it more :)
I haven’t looked recently but I believe you! I quit looking when I realized I just couldn’t afford to get into at this moment in life. 😏 I am also glad that you got that heat press and showed it in use. I make stuff on the cricut and I have the easy press but I just don’t think it gives as good of a seal on htv as my friends stahls heat press. I have looked at that pink one but I thought I wouldn’t like the size as I kinda got spoiled with her 16x20. I am gonna hold out for the 15x15 that you’re gonna get in December. I really like the slide out drawer design!
First video I see of yours and I love it! question, would a 50/50 cotton polyester blend be good for sublimation? Thanks so much for this video. Also can you please tell me where you bought these designs?
What will be the advantage of a DTG printer vs a sublimation print on a white 50/50 blend blank? The results of the sublimation look really good on the video I’m guessing it’ll look even better in person.
Outstanding live video made! Learned a lot and almost everything from this video with great details. Keep up the great work and keep making more videos like these.
Do you know of another style of printing or anything besides HTV or screen print that you can use for colored shirts? I'm not a fan of white shirts. I love your video, thanks!
Crystal Ann, the heat press you just purchased or other heat presses, I’m concerned as to the power to the heat press. Does it require a regular 110 or a high voltage outlet. Thank you for your help.

Is there some reason this is better than just going through a print-on-demand site like Redbubble? The equipment, learning curve, supplies, time, and likelihood of wastage due to mistakes seems like it's an awfully expensive way to get your designs onto items. Eventually your profit margin might be better, but it certainly does not look like you could ever get into any high-production mode. What am I missing here?

I just bought a craft pro! I’m curious - does your temp light flash and make a buzzing sound once the set temp is reached? My temp light stays steady until it reaches the set temp, then flashes and buzzes when the light flashes on. I’m trying to find out if this is normal.
Been thinking about buying the sublimation printer really like the sg800 the only thing is that the printer only last about 3 years so is it worth the 1000 dollar up charge and the only difference I can see is printing size. What do you think?
Love your videos! So informative and you take your time explaining your projects and new products that you share with us. you have been a big help for me.. THANKS!! :}
Hi, I'm new to your Chanel, thanks so much for the videos, you rock!!❤️👍. I do have the Cricut heat press 1 and 2, as well as a commercial heat press from geo knight, can I ask you about the creative studio, can you use it with the Cricut maker? or can I use it as stand alone to print out on an ink jet? I would love to buy the sawgrass but im not sure yet. Thanks again im so glad I found your Chanel
Awesome video! I know what I want for Christmas and my half-birthday 🤣😂! Do any of the heat presses you looked at have attachments (mug press)? I didn’t see anything on the site.
Hello I need your advice I’m confusing between sawgrass and epson printers( for this time l805 but you can suggest me the best model )because I’m just started my business with restricted budget so the printer and ink cost matter for me. I wonder if it makes significant difference on far time financially between them if we consider the quality of printing, ink cost , maintenance and the easy of use ??? And if buy epson printer what’s the best sublimation ink you advice me to use ??
Do you have to purchase the printer in order to get the unlimited images on creative studio? Or is it just a monthly subscription if I have a different printer but want images. Can you explain that for me.
Great video, CrystalAnn, as always. Such good info about something we’ve all heard about but never really understood..love the 3-cow shirt. And Happy Birthday, too! 🎁🎂🌹Question: was the heat press tough to set up?
Thank you so much for showing us all the different designs, I'm getting a Sawgrass 400 tomorrow. I hope I can learn how to use it,I'm 72 yrs old trying to learn how to do all this technology.

You are so welcome that is great :) You can save the rest of you money for another goal :) YAY!!
Yes indeed. It just came in today, now back to studying your upload. Thanks again!!

I'm so happy you will be doing sublimation videos. Thank you I just ordered mine now! I'm super excited to watch your new videos!!!
Wow! The cute pink shirt with the white glitter was adorable. I am doing my research on sublimation. Thank you for sharing.

I love that truck with the tree on... would you share where you got it please?
Do you know of another style of printing or anything besides HTV or screen print that you can use for colored shirts? I'm not a fan of white shirts. I love your video, thanks!
After you purchase the cow, truck designs can you use them to add to products for resale? How long do you have to use them? Thanks so much
Crystal Ann, the heat press you just purchased or other heat presses, I’m concerned as to the power to the heat press. Does it require a regular 110 or a high voltage outlet. Thank you for your help.
My SG400 will be here this week! Thank you for the video!
How exciting your going to have so much fun :) and You're so welcome
Love it, I just purchased the SG800 three weeks ago.
I'm so excited for you. You're going to love it
Impressed with your video.. Keep up the great work!
Great video! Can you use your own artwork in PDF format to print from? If I go with a sawgrass virtuoso SG1000, what size and model heat press you would recommend for t-shirts and hoodies etc, like to have enough room to print on XL XXL etc. Can you provide link to paper you use for shirts? Thanks!

Thank you! thank you! thanks you! This video was amazing I could not find any videos that showed the sublimation transfers worked and how to get started and you help alot!!
thank you so much for such an informative video. i have a quick question am i able to use a teflon sheet on top of the paper instead of parchment paper ?
yes you can but if the ink gets on the teflon sheet you will have to throw it out and it will get on everything else you press :) hope this helps
Love your video! You don’t have to wash the shirts first?
No if they are 100% cotton and not pre shrunk you do want to wash them first most shirts I buy are pre shrunk :)
Are the heat presses you chose the only ones that have the pull-out drawer feature?
I recently upgraded to the swing away and I love it
How do you think this compares with vinyl ? This process seems much easier than applying htv. also is this just for T-shirts ?
There thousands of things to sublimate from t-shirts, phone cases, license plates, cups ect so many things. but when it comes to comparing it to vinyl its just another addition you are limited to using at least 50% polyester with the sublimation :) hope this helps
Hi, have you tried it on table runners?
Very great and detailed video!
Can you use multiple prints together and maybe place them so there is no seam and create an all over print with a smaller printer like that? Ive seen it done with those huge printers and one giant print
How many shirt can you print before the ink has to be refilled in the machine?
I'm not sure im still on the same ink so quite a bit I would say
A lot over 65 shirts
I have had cocktails. I am enjoying this video.
Hi Wanda here from Texas
You are absolutely amazing, I didn’t lose interest in your video not one moment. I didn’t even notice the time until you said something.🤩🤩🤩
i have the printer and have not yet used it trying to figure out how to install it would love to see your video for that
ruclips.net/video/6_90Lyu19EQ/видео.html
the picture thats free in the studio. when you print it on a t shirt other stuff can you sell its. because of copyright etc?
Great tutorial! Thanks so much for all your effort! I want one now but I'm hoping to get a maker first!
I agree maker first more possibility's one thing at a time :)
My husband thinks I’m crazy with all this stuff! I got my Maker today. They just got shipped into Australia! Can’t wait to watch more of you tutorials & see what I can make. Do you recommend getting access?
CrystalAnn.. or anyone following her... where do you get the press she uses? Looks like it is a pull out plank for the heater part of the press.
I am not sure if you covered this or not, If you did I may have missed it. I'm looking to buy this Sublimation Printer, however, I have a lot of SVG's I've purchased with commercial license. Can you use SVG's with this printer to print for sublimation?
Did you every figure this out?
Can your heat press do hats and cups?
Is this a DTG printer? If not are the prints better than the Epson sublimation printers?
Is that just regular glitter vinyl that you used on the pink shirt?
Glitter iron on/htv
I just bought a craft pro! I’m curious - does your temp light flash and make a buzzing sound once the set temp is reached? My temp light stays steady until it reaches the set temp, then flashes and buzzes when the light flashes on. I’m trying to find out if this is normal.
Mine does not I would reach out to HPN
What was that black box you used when switching cameras and screens
An iPad 😀
Been thinking about buying the sublimation printer really like the sg800 the only thing is that the printer only last about 3 years so is it worth the 1000 dollar up charge and the only difference I can see is printing size. What do you think?
You are my new favorite person!
awww Thank you so much
Love your videos! So informative and you take your time explaining your projects and new products that you share with us. you have been a big help for me.. THANKS!! :}
Thank you so much and I'm so happy to hear this :) you are so welcome
So what time of paper would you use for dark shirts?
Hi, I'm new to your Chanel, thanks so much for the videos, you rock!!❤️👍. I do have the Cricut heat press 1 and 2, as well as a commercial heat press from geo knight, can I ask you about the creative studio, can you use it with the Cricut maker? or can I use it as stand alone to print out on an ink jet? I would love to buy the sawgrass but im not sure yet. Thanks again im so glad I found your Chanel
Yes you can use it with the cricut maker for print then cut :)
...how much does the ink cost and how long does it last?
Awesome video! I know what I want for Christmas and my half-birthday 🤣😂! Do any of the heat presses you looked at have attachments (mug press)? I didn’t see anything on the site.
I think they have a 8in 1 :)
Did the box around the cow go away?
Yes
Hello from Hot Springs, AR
Loved this video💞
I have been looking for this kind of video, thank you so much can't wait to see more. Thank you for taking the time.
Hello
I need your advice
I’m confusing between sawgrass and epson printers( for this time l805 but you can suggest me the best model )because I’m just started my business with restricted budget so the printer and ink cost matter for me.
Thank you so much sorry for the late reply. surprisingly it was so easy pulled it out of the box plugged it in and it was ready to go
Great info this was very helpful
