Thank you for this video! I am doing HBL K with my Kindergartener and 2nd grader next year. It is marketed as an introduction to world cultures, but looking at the book selection, it's not clear to me how that is accomplished. I have 3 questions for you:
    1. Does the teacher guide direct you when to use timeline stickers for this level?
    2. Does the program give a biblical perspective about creation at all?
    3. For the introduction to world cultures, does it pretty much just touch on Asia and Africa and the rest is ancient cultures? Any other modern cultures?
Thank you so much! Your curriculum content is always so helpful 💜

      1. Yes, it tells you when to use the timeline stickers
      2. The IG adds biblical perspective to the topics
      3. World Cultures covers all of history (but briefly) - so yes to ancient history and yes to modern history
      Glad it is helpful :)

I am using B and K next year. I decided to combine my 1st and 3rd grader them with science K. My 3rd grader will be able to complete the science pages independently .

This is a great review. As a new potential user of this curriculum, I'm having a hard time figuring out approximately how much time is spent daily on the lessons. Can you give an estimate of what you would say you spent on HBL-K daily? thanks!

Hi! Its hard to say bc we didn't use the bible ... but this video should give you a better idea of timing! ruclips.net/video/xNYEmqaSbh0/видео.html

The bounciness of Sonlight is why we don't do it anymore, but I only tried the Kindergarten level. Does it get better?!

YES!! That was something I didn't love about the Kinder level either ... I know at that level you can really only skim the surface, but they got a little confused in the hopping from topic to topic. It gets much better once you reach the history cycles!

@@sciencemama ok good! I haven’t gone much beyond math, language arts and some science yet since my girls are so young but I loooooove the idea of sonlight a history. Thank you!

I'm thinking of ordering this one but we are already going through the American history so I'm hesitant to do 2 at a time lol

I'm doing B+C World History with my 3rd grader - planned to just have my K sit in and join along, but wondering if you'd suggest any resources from the K world cultures to have on hand to be able to bring some topics down to his level when it overlaps?

The A to Z Mysteries (Mummies) as well as the Ancient Greece books would be wonderful additions!
