I was in the military so I had a pixie cut, pencil curls! I had breast cancer 🎀 3 years ago..of course I was bald...but prior to that, my natural hair was bra strap length! It's growing back now🥰and healthier than ever! I love your long videos❤❤❤

I cut my natural hair from mid back to an ultra short pixie/fade about six years ago then grew it back out. Now I’ve been locked three years.

I'm 71, and in my mid 30's to about 39, I would go to the salon, get a Gerri Curl, then have them cut my hair to 1/2 inch - just a bump of curl left!!! It was 🔥 for my tight, kinky Kunta Kente hair!!! I would get stopped everywhere i went. That was before I let it grow out enough to have a couple of inches of new growth. Cut all the chemicals out in 1992 & started twisting & loc'ing. Never looked back so far & my hair is almost to my waist. The only way I could ever see myself cutting my long, loc'd hair is if I was in your chair!!!!❤❤❤❤

I had the Toni Braxton haircut in 1993 when I was 21. That was the beginning of 800 more different short cuts over the next three decades, lol. Ive had a short bob for the last two years. She felt all the way cute and I love that! That's one of the best parts of watching hair videos is the end when the client sees and gets that glow. I like the longer videos. I'm currently growing out a patchy low cut after taking down locs that gave me traction alopecia. I'm living in wigs and hats for now.
Although I prefer the longer videos I will watch whatever you put out. They are always a pleasure to watch. With the negative comments you talked about at the start - it has taken me a long time to filter out the negative people in my life and concentrate on the ones who care for me. The shortest I've cut my hair was in the 7th grade for my role in the Christmas program. I had a sharp cut that resembled Halle Berry's hair in Boomerang. It was a fade in the back.
People gave me lots of compliments on my hair. I rocked that style off and on throughout my adolescence.
Now, I want long hair. My current length is that awkward stage, not short or long. But with nurturing, my hair will achieve the length I desire.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Also, I literally just had my natural fro cut in a bob, too! My freshman year of high school I had a short curl with a straight bang. I had a relaxer that broke my hair off. I wanted to go from a curl to relaxed. My hair basically fell out, and broke off. It was short! I transitioned to natural again in 2020, and had a short fro. It was maybe and inch. I'm not afraid to take it off.

I just cut my hair yesterday. I went from between bra strap and waist length to shoulder length. I love it!!! I washed it today and it took an hour to do everything versus about 3 hours to do everything. I love the bob! I may go back to one. I had one years ago and I loved it. I've chopped my hair completely off over 5 times in my life. My most recent big chop was on November 24th, 2023. I chopped off my hair, colored her red, now I'm blonde. So liberating and needed. I miss my length of course. But I had too much damage and uneven hair growth.

The shortest is to my whole SCALP! NO GUARD! It felt so good in this Louisiana heat. That was in 2016. I started growing it back in 2019. Now it's way past my shoulders but not quite to the bra strap. I got a classmate from beauty school to trim it for me and she jacked it up. She didn't section my hair. She didn't take the time and care that I do...like YOU DO (which is why I love your channel) but it's growing back out. I'll be doing my own trims from now on.

I did a big chop back in 2006. It was the final step to me transitioning to my natural hair texture. It's been almost 18 years and I've been so grateful to have found my way with what I was given. Always working on the health and volume but it's been a beautiful journey.

My hair has always been long.. down my back. When we moved South Carolina my cousin was a barber....he cut my hair, as a paintbrush. I never had my hair cut in my life...I was devastated..I was 15yrs old. It finally grew back...87cut my front to have bangs to my nose. Now it is short due to medication ..had to embrace my natural curl. I'm happy and thankful and learned to adjust. I love your videos and education. Tyfs 💙😎💜

I’ve cut my hair into a pixie cut a couple of times in my life when I’ve felt my hair needed the break and to get stronger again. When I stopped colouring my hair over five years ago, I cut it a short Bob to help with transition- now it it’s all the way down to my bum. I might go crazy and cut it all off or continue to grow it ! As you said it’s better that it’s healthy rather than long.

Good afternoon! Back in the 80's I've cut my hair so short. Where I went to the barber. People couldn't believe it. But it was bac down my back in no time. It's just hair it grows back. Even 4 yrs ago I cut it really short shaved on the sides & back. It's back down my back again. It's fun. Great job as always my friend!! Peace and many blessings!!!!

I had a buzzcut pre-COVID and I loved it cause it was zero maintenance.
It grew during COVID and I miss it cause my hair sheds like crazy. I told myself I'd keep it this length so I can mess with it, but haven't been able to yet 😢.
