My daughters house has a 1/3 hp 240 volt Genteq ECM FM20 and it runs all the time. I disconnected the fuse on the transformer and it still runs. Will an x13 work in it's place? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Good video you are skilled.
I have a Genteq Endura FM19 blower unit in my carrier HVAC. It's starting to make a squeaking noise when on. Can the blower motor be taken off and bearings lubed with a couple drops of oil?
Honestly I haven’t oil one of those or any style ecm. I’ll have to check into it for you. Generally on a psc style motor there are 1-2 ports to add the oil.
I have a question, I'm very very limited on money and I need to replace the blower motor because it's barely spinning. So I assume the blower motor is going bad. The one that's currently on there is the Genteq x13 Model 5SME39NXL104 3/4HP, 115V, 8.4 A, 1050 RPM. Do you have any suggestions for what I can replace it with?
If that motor has no capacitor with normally goes first- what else could it be?? My unit is 2 years old at most n motor sometimes struggles to turn on. U can see it wiggle trying to turn full speed. Once it spins fast it's good n cold
Some times these type of motors do, hesitate to start and shake a bit. You could have someone look at it and test the windings. But in cases with the module they to start and stop quickly then get to full speed
Good job brotha! I don't do resi anymore more into commercial reefer but had my share of changing blowers when I worked for the company!!
Right on man 🤙🏻. Seems to be a blower once a week at least the x-13 🤦🏼♂️ lol
keep these up man 👍🏻👍🏻
appreciate the great content
Appreciate that bro!! Definitely will 👍🏻🤘🏻
Great video bro keep them coming 👍🏻
For sure! Thanks man 👍🏻
Great job, for carrier unit you said for cooling it’s on 2 and heat 4.
Appreciate that 🫡 just for this unit, that’s the speed taps used
Thanks for the video!!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!!
I love those motors. Way better than the grey genteq’s
Definitely have had a better success rate with the green 👍🏻
Good job
Thank you!!
Love your videos. Just wondering if you work for someone or if you’re doing your own thing?
Much appreciated 🙏🏻 so I work alone. It’s not my company but it’s just me and I run all the day to day and stuff. It’s complicated 😂
A 3/8” 12pt ratchet wrench takes the set screw on the blower wheel out nice and easy
Is there a specific brand you prefer?! I’ll have to give that a shot, thanks for the tip 🤙🏻
@@KoolinwithKrauss I can’t post a link to them. But the husky (Home Depot brand) quad drive wrenches are great!
that blower wheel out of balance now :)
Nooooo 😂

Should be good to go, it’s it has the same pin connections, if not there’s conversion kits I believe 👍

Want to make sure there is match rpm, amps, volts and hp if trying to make someone else work more cost effective.
@@KoolinwithKraussHi there, how much do you charge for the replacement?... what areas in Florida do you cover?.. thanks man

Can I replace a 1/2 hp with a 3/4 and are there any advantages?
negative don’t want to do that, will screw with the specs the system was designed for.
@@KoolinwithKrausscool thanks
No sound for me.
Should be good now! 👍🏻
