Beautiful blending of talents: age and gender. The result is wonderful. Listening to the amazing music and watching the joyfulness with which it is projected from this 'Barcelona Bastion of Brilliance' makes it a little easier to face the hate filled and twisted world that seems to confront us each day.

A very mellow version reminiscent of bechet and muggsy, just brilliant work by all. Of special note andrea is joy but eva is magic. Love them both but more when together.

From a eulogy of Bobby Gordon posted below: - "His melodies linger on, and Bobby Gordon taught us so much about the courage it takes to create beauty every time he played or sang. We thank him. We miss him."

How did I miss the for so long? Old-fashioned dreamy elegance. One of the first examples of Eva with the soprano sax which is now her signature sound. Are we sure than young guitarist is Josep?

I didn't realize before: This is a real historical addition to one of Andrea's first CD and one of the first (if not the first) in the Presents series. Of course, Andrea has to sing "Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans"! The German Wikipedia has a short bio of Bobby Gordon: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Robinson_(jazz_musician), Click "translate". In the bio it says Bobby played with Scott Robinson who you may know from several SAJB videos. BTW, there is also an old You-tube with Joan and Scott playing bass saxophones at an outdoor concert.

Bobby Gordon also played with Jon-Erik Kellso who appears on some of the SAJB numbers.

I see that this video was published the day after Bobby Gordon passed away. Looks as though it was recorded in 2010. I love this version. Eva's solos are spot-on for the laid-back Greenwich Village jazz club style that Bobby helped create. He toured and recorded with Leon Redbone for years. Here's Bobby and Redbone's version of Louisiana Fairytale - ruclips.net/video/E4_mfXmiCkQ/видео.html
