  • Ever want to have a cute garden flag - similar to those you've walked or driven past displayed in yards or gardens? In this video I'll show you step-by-step how you can create your own personalized garden flag using fabric, stencils, and ceramic paints. I'll also show you how Decolorant (a chemical that removes your flag color) might work to enhance your flag.
This is simple, quick, and easy. It took me less than a half hour, and if I can do it - you can too!
    What I used:
    - 12.5" x 17.5" furniture fabric sample (you can use a stiff linen or cotton duck in a fun color; possibly 2, 1/2" grommets or fusible webbing and iron)
    - Decolourant
    - 2" Foam Brush
    - Ceramic Paint (from A Maker's Studio) in Angel Wings (white), Boxwood (green), Hot & Spicy (orange) Always a Bridesmaid (pink), and Gold Metallic (yellow) found here: bit.ly/ReMadeC...
Stencils: Created For A Purpose (bit.ly/Stencil..., rabbits (bit.ly/ReMadeF..., Wildflowers (bit.ly/Stencil...)
    - Chalk Art Spreader found here: bit.ly/PaintSp...
    - Parchment Paper, Butcher Paper, Scissors, tub or sink of water
Optional: heat gun or hair dryer
A metal garden flag pole like the one found here: bit.ly/GardenF...
