This is Fantastic Angela….. I have Alex drawers and this method is so much easier and accessible than stacking the metal storage boxes on top of each other. And I love your labelling ideas - I’ll definitely be copying 🙌. Thank you so much ❤❤❤
I just recently discovered that I need to remove the covers to my Distress Oxide inks. I love/hate those containers. Love that they store them well, hate that they take up so much space when they're open with the lids attached. I like storing them so the inks are upside down though, on the containers side, so I need to have the kids attachable. I think I'll do Velcro hinges.
I’ve been struggling to organize my distress inks and oxides and reinkers for a while now and your video gave me some great ideas! I’ve done swatch tags with my calligraphy inks and it’s very helpful for knowing which colors I already have, so I think I’m going to do that with my distress inks and oxides too! Again, this video was super helpful!
What great storage ideas! 👍🏻 You’re so organized. I agree that the inks and products must be easily accessible to facilitate frequent and efficient use. Love your colour combo swatches - would love to see a video on how you create them. 🥰
This is such an informative video! I really need to organize my regular and my Oxide inks. Thank you for showing us your storage system. I know that I can immediately label and swatch them. I also like the blending cards you’ve made. Sometimes I make a card…put away my supplies…and can’t remember which colors I’ve used for blending. Lol. Will have to slowly accumulate the containers. 🤗 Wonderful video.
Glad it was helpful. Thank you so much for your comment. It's comments like yours that keep me going. Being organised definitely works for me as I have time constraints that I can devote to my hobby...and having products handy allows me to reach for them more easily. Best of luck getting organised.
Hello Deane I will do a video on how I go about making my swatch and colour combo swatch cards when I get the latest colour, villainous potion. I will endeavour to list as many of my colour combos on my blog as I can. Thank you for stopping by Angela
Angela - I am new to all things cards and your videos are amazing!! I love Distressed Oxide and love the way you store your pads and reinkers. Do you have a video on how you store your stamps, dies, etc.? I’m trying to get organized and I’d love to see how you’ve organized yours. Have a blessed day and thanks for making such wonderful content!
Hi Christine, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I do not have a video on stamp and die organisation, but aim to do more organisational videos, so stay tuned. Regards Angela
Love your storage ideas for all the distress ink. I'm reorganizing all my crafts and I'm I want to put the rings on the Distress Ink bottles because I always had to look at each of them to get the color I wanted. What I wanted to know is what punch you used to cut the middle of the rings?? Thank you.
Thank you. The tiny circle die is from my concentric circle die set. It's a very old set that I've have for a long time and am not sure what brand it is as in those days I did not take note of that. I'm sure there are other die set out there such as the Hero Arts Nesting Infnity Circles Die Set.
Lovely organization, thank you! The little re-inker circles that you said you got on the Tim Holtz website - by any chance do you mean Ranger’s website and they’re already colored by Ranger? I can’t find them on Tim’s, or blank ones, though I could just ink my own. Btw, I switched from flat to domed foams too, and prefer Ranger’s, which are just the tiniest bit softer than others I’ve tried.
Hi Sandra I've been using this storage method for a while now and have not had any leakage. I've had this question asked before and I think the view is that it's dependant on the weather. The warmer climates may cause leakage. I'm based in Scotland and I must say, no warm climate here! Regards Angela
Just watched a vid that Ranger says Oxide should be stored flat and not on side. You might want to contact them for confirmation. Ink can be stored any direction....not oxides?
Hello Candy I contacted Ranger Ink and they directed me to their FAQs which stated the following: How should I store my Distress/Oxide Ink Pads? The molded plastic case is designed to create the proper fit needed for the ink formulation. Store your ink pads flat, bottom down or on the side. rangerink.com/pages/faqs Check out 'Ink Pads'
@@angelabrennancreations i stored mine on their sides and the ink all ran to the side and the other side and middle of the pad was dried out. I would not recommend storing these inks on their sides-flat is a must to make them last.
Please can you tell me about colour stickers for distress oxide ink pad , it's not on bottom of the page can you send me email address back to me so I will like to get colouring stickers
Hi Annie, I get print those from the Ranger website...rangerink.com/pages/organize-your-ranger-products You can print the sheet, cut, and stick to any of your Ranger products. Very handy for organisation. Cheers, Angela
Your foam storage & how you can pick them up by the handle is BRILLIANT! TY
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you so much. Being organised just makes crafting so much easier esppecially when you have small pockets of time to craft.
I like your systematic approach to storage!
Thanks!

I love this idea, do the ink pads leak? I know I've had a couple leak before. 🙂
