Another great video - both amusing and educational. Sulis seems to enjoy the limelight, and reading too. What a pesky bird! 😊
Presenter: they hunt largely by pouncing on their prey
We live in Rhodes, Greece and have a resident little owl that comes to our garden. We love him 💖
Looks like little bundle of joy
A fantastic shout-out for a charming UK owl - integral to our rural landscape and ecosystems, favourite of ancient goddesses - but under threat ....
So quiet. I hardly noticed him .
I've got a good count of little owls around me and I've talked the farmer into not using poisons around his buildings
My favorite bird and I love them all, but owls are very special to me!!!🙏🦉❣️👍
We met these amazing birds today and thanks Kate for flying birds with us. Bless these beautiful creatures❤️
Recently I sponsored a Kestrel at the Falconry Centre in Hagley. Such a good thing to do!
Thanks..
So cute
Good info Thank you! - James From South Korea
Excellent video 😊
The yellow of the eyes is not the retina. That’s the iris. The retina sits in the back of the eye and can’t be seen without special instruments.
That's a great watch. I'm sure if you didn't know the bird, most people would assume it was a baby owl of a larger species.
Another beautifully informative film of the little owl, adding colour to the sounds we hear at night but know so little about. Thank you, and keep them coming.
I have no idea how you managed to sit with it squawking for so long!
smol and cute!
First rate video, well done.
