I drive past that house every day on my way home . There's 2 or 3 houses in a row that are abandoned. What a shame . Developers should not be able to touch these lands
@@AbandonedUrbexCanada Thats so sad. Such beautiful history and Homes to make new cookie cutter homes that are sandwiched together and all look the same
I love this beautiful home. Love the 70's style brings back young childhood memories. Modern homes now are so disappointing. Channel is awesome as always. Love it!
Wow that was a great find! ❤ All that carpet was totally 70s! And the green fixtures in the bathroom hilarious! My house had blue fixtures! Something odd was how narrow the hallways were, especially upstairs, and the staircase too! And the wallpaper one word tacky! 😂😂 Keep up the awesome finds❤!
That basement playroom and the bathroom with the mirror surround was super tacky Huge master bedroom with wallpaper that would have been hideous in its time There must be a story with the “stain” on the bedroom floor Great find as always and take care 🇨🇦❤️
Brent, you gave me a little laugh when you commented on the parquet floor being from ‘79. I asked hubby what year our house was built he said ‘87. Parquet is on most of the two story house. 😅 At first sight, in the master ensuite I thought they had side by side bathtubs… 🤣
Looks like the upstairs was not original bedrooms, just attic space where the master is located. Probably renovated/added on at a later date. Looks like it was originally a one story, two bedroom home, then they bumped out the back upstairs to add on those 3 bedrooms. Those stairs were retrofitted to get up to the second story. That's likely why the master bedroom is so huge, because it was probably the original entire attic space of the home. It would also explain that wonky upstairs hallway. The original two bedrooms on the main floor were probably located in the space where the parquet floor is now on the main floor. Thanks for the tour.
How 1970's - 1980's is that place? The wall paper, the fireplace, the wood paneling and the avocado bathroom suite. Loved it. We chose avocado for the bathroom in our new house in 1983 😄
Great house! Too bad about the basement getting wet. I'm wondering if the master bathroom if that was some sort of sauna/steam type area above the bath tub. Looked like you could sit up there and I'm not sure if those were like steam ports or something along the back wall. Nice video!
basement - the ceiling most likely collapsed under the weight of frozen water when the first severe cold came after the water in the plumbing froze and broke everything, and in the spring all the water flowed into the basement as a result... the last major renovation was more than forty years ago, most likely in connection with the birth of a child, the child grew up and left, much later taking his parents closer to him... The house was rented out for several years, slowly putting it up for sale along with the land... judging by some indirect signs, the house is much older than 1970, but renovation with a brick fireplace and staircase in 1970 is possible, although I would still attribute “brick baroque” to the end of the seventies...
Hi Bret!! This is an awesome find!! Yes this definitely is a seventies house, beautiful, love the stairs and that "groovy" Lol, fireplace area!! You could almost see the cages the "Go,Go " girls dancing in that room!! Beautifully made house, charming and cozy, such a waste, thanks Bret, great video 💯👍
I’m binge watching all your videos out of the explorer RUclips Channels yours is the best. I feel like we all on the explore with you thanks for taking us along. Wow the record player is so amazing it’s worth a lot i’m surprised they left it behind
Wow, Brent, what a find! Can't say I favor the wood paneling---always thought that stuff was ugly---but that fireplace was amazing. Such a unique feature! It makes me sad to hear that yet another old home is going to be destroyed to make way for more modern homes. I like the old ones way better. They have more character and charm.
It's sad that they left that antique record player cabinet behind in the moldy basement. It would be worth a lot in the US. I wonder if the developer will rescue it or demolish it with the house. Those chandeliers in the garage looked like they were made from the bases of rolling chairs! Interesting that the owners left only a year ago, but they never updated the 1970's decor. Either they loved it that much, or they ran out of money. From the state of the pool, it looks like they ran out of money a long time ago.

I love that fireplace, such a medieval feel to it. The main floor looks ready to be moved into with a few touch ups. You should take that wall unit, otherwise it will just get trashed. What a gorgeous house , with all the wood throughout. Thanks Brent, always love your tours :o)

great explore Brent, the place screams 1970's but it was a nice house at one time, i love the old Console Phillips stereo in the Basement, all those old units had great sound back in their day
Hello , watching this now in Australia 🇦🇺. I must say I loved that brickwork fireplace and the stairs built in . Beautiful. Looked like a peaceful place to live out there on the land . Pretty neat . Thank you for sharing 😊.
What a neat house! So much charm and character! I'd love to live there. Such a shame it will be demolished. Those stains in the master bedroom look like from an animal. Perhaps they had dogs who weren't able to get outside in time to relieve themselves.

Shocked me when you said you had a green tub and that home was built in the '80's, in the States no place was built with green by that time. That would have been in the 1960's very early 1970's. But even our house built in the 1960's had White fixtures and tubs.
Great video Brent! I enjoyed the explore and agree - what a beautiful place!! You still provide the absolute best in videography and narration, my friend! Thanks again!!
Hi Brent As I said in your preview here I am with my cup of coffee ☕ enjoying this video with my favourite explorer ! An interesting property on a beautiful piece of land though the wallpaper in the house would depress me terribly !!!! Why are so many large houses being abandoned or demolished in Canada ? Thanks as always for showing respect in your exploration of these homes. Gill 🇬🇧
Well on the positive side, the rooms are big and there are a lot of storage closets. The bad side is the wallpaper is kinda odd. It is still a shame it is all ruined. Thanks for sharing it with us.
That would have been a lovely place back in the day. Big, lots of room, large pool for the summers. Hope some of the timbers and lights are salvaged before demolition. Another great explore. Cheers.
What a shame this once beautiful house is going to be torn down for what will probably be cookie cutter houses. It looks like the garage part was an addition because it has electric baseboard heating while the rest of the house is forced air gas which also explains the older detached garage.
You do this well - I have two questions 1. Why do you always open the refrigerators- I cringe where time dude And 2. The water next to that bear in your intro is a disturbing color of blue was that normal?
Great video .. I wonder how they got all the bedroom furniture out... as that staircase would be an issue. Perhaps through the master bedroom balcony and stairs to the ground. Also curious what the silver knobs were above the tub in the master bath. Awesome house though and I suspect very stylish back in the day! Oh the stories it could tell...

What a depressing house, all that dark wallpaper upstairs, the master bedroom was awful. Forgetting the suspicious stain on the floor, why has such a big room got such a small window? And those stairs? They maybe a design feature but they're also a death trap, I'd be falling down them daily! 😂
You have a lot of competition for this, as far as abandoned exploration, but I always prefer and look forward to YOUR newest finds. 🎉

I was a child in the 70’s too. Olive green, marigold, and burnt orange will forever instantly bring back memories!
i watched this same house explored by different people, and that bedroom carpet was still in there ,something must of happened
That's still a beautiful place. I'm pretty sure that master suite is bigger than my entire apartment.
Seriously creepy about the stains because in Ethan’s video about four months ago there was carpet with NO stains on that floor!!
And in Noah’s video from a month and a half ago the carpet was still there also!
@@annalindfors1587 yeah something ominous happened for sure!
I think something died inside. It’s a pretty big stain

Love to have a bedroom that size.
They cut that rug out because there was (and still is) a biohazard area ☠ there - something very bad occurred! Someone melted into the floor.
...or someTHING. Like a raccoon.
The wallpaper in that master bedroom cracked me up! It goes on for miiiiiles! 😂
Shame so many of these houses are going to be demolished " they have such unique quirks"definitely don't build them like they used to"! 👍😎👍😎✌️

I don't blame folks for keeping things as they are. My 1999 Jeep (XJ) Cherokee still runs just fine!

It is really dated, not that that is bad, styles change. For my self, I love the old farm houses, not too fancy, but home to hard working people.
Love the wood work in this Brent...some of the wall paper is ok...I hope that stain wasn't a dead body...oh my...😢
