Just dont use cilantro if you dont care for it. If you're afraid of raw shrimp just boil it til it turns pink. Make sure to marinate it in the lime or lemon for at least on hour. Yes, you can replace lime with lemon. Jalapeno is usually more mild than serrano. You can use just jalapeno if you cant handle spicy. Seed it and cut the veins off if you really cant handle heat.

@@_korbo_ Every person that actually eats spicy food know you are lying, the "don't taste good" is the worst excuse you can ever make, is the opposite, pepper taste is amazing if you get past the spiciness.
An here is the why you are wrong, people that don't eat spicy food thinks people that do eat it, just power over the pain and endures it to "be cool" or whatever reason you can think of, the reality of things is that when yo DO actually eat spicy food your body becomes resistant to it, so you stop feeling "pain" and you start just feeling a light and nice spiciness, and you can gradually increase that resistance if you slowly go for higher level spicy stuff after your get used to what you been eating.
People that eat spicy food don't handle it, they just don't feel it at a level where it hurts anymore, unlike people like you that have done it once or twice and have to make excuses to not look like a coward xD.

I made this yesterday. I would change a few things next time I make it. 1. I would cut the shrimp in half longways, so it’s thinner. Maybe he did that, I don’t know, but I didn’t. 2. I ended up cooking the shrimp. Originally, I left it in the lime juice as stated for an hour, but I didn’t think it seemed “cooked”. Was it supposed to be eaten raw? I wasn’t sure, so I just put the lime juice and shrimp in a pan, had the lime juice come to a low boil, and I cooked both sides of the shrimp before they shrank too much. 3. I’d also cut the avocados and cucumbers smaller, so they fit on the tortilla chips easier. Thats about it. I finished it with myself and partner, and felt refreshed. Very tangy.

Oh wow, salmon really would be great cooked in limon. Even shellfish. Especially if you put it in a coktel de camaron.
