@@GulfCoastArtbyJenny what Hi there, what type of pigment did you use for the grey for the edge of the coaster. Was it ink or pigment paste ? Thankyou 👍🌼
I'm just loving all the coasters and other resin items I'm seeing lately. I bought me some molds to try some. Those turned out BEAUTIFUL I love the colors.
I have a video coming up of an engraved ocean charcuterie board I’m making! It’s unbelievably beautiful! Stayed tuned!! It’s an 18x24 I videoed how to do from start to finish!
Thank you so much! I do a lot of resin coasters and teach you how to get different effects in the resin with mixing alcohol inks acrylic inks, resin dye, micas powders and how to layer them to get the effects you want. I have a ton of coasters videos on my channel. I hope you check it out! I’m happy to be your lucky #7 subscriber!! 😄♥️
Thank you so much!!! I will have more videos soon! I’m crossing the finish line in my studio and I’ll be making more soon! I’m actually resuming my counter top in here today with an ocean wave. Stay tuned! I’ll post the video of it soon! ❤️❤️
Just beautiful. And thanks for your honest comments about stone coat. I have had the same problems and thought I was doing something wrong. My favorite resin now is Craft Resin and Galant. These are super gorgeous. I’m going to try them. 💖💖💐🗽🏖love from LI, NY
Ahh thank you! I’m doing a resin comparison video, hopefully tomorrow. Stone Coat, Art Resin, Naked Fusion, Krystal resin, and KS resin. I’m going to pour a coaster with each one. I have all kinds of information on all of them. It’s going to be very informative. I should have bought Craft Resin also but I’ll get some at a later date.
Yes, you need to fill them til they dome in the middle. I normally do that with the pink molds but these have a deeper depth so I just sand these white molds. Thank you’
These are so so beautiful! May I ask what size those moulds are and how much resin you used altogether please? Also, you have the most steady hand I've ever seen doing these. And so fast too, no messing about 😂 ❤️.
Hi, what you do is great ! If I make/create a plate that I don't like, can I modify it ?How can I modify a resin plate ? = put it in the microwave to melt it? In hot water? Or with a paint stripper? Thank you so much.
I’m not sure that you can modify a completely cured resin piece, I’ve never tried. I would not recommend putting resin in your microwave, if you wanted to try putting it in boiling water, maybe 🤷🏻♀️ but doubtful. I wouldn’t suggest doing that for obvious reasons lol So maybe make another and after it sets for several hours(5to6) try putting heavy plastic on it and mold it the way you want.
Thank you! Yes I use a heat gun. If you have absolutely zero bubbles you could but sadly there’s no way to really tell with micro bubbles until it’s cured so I suggest ALWAYS using a heat gun.
Great video! How do you like stonecoat? I am switiching resin and this is the brand I plan on buying. Also I hear that you can spray a little isopropyl alcohol 91% to help pop the bubbles. I haven't tried it yet though.
Garrick Brown Art Studio Hey Garrick, thank you so much. I have not tried spraying alcohol yet. I will say I love the Stone coat for the heat resistance but I find it has a lot more micro bubbles than the Naked Fusion. The Naked Fusion bubbles are a lot easier to pop and I never see any after it’s cured. The heat resistance isn’t as high a the Stone Coat. So I started using the Stone Coat for top coats, paintings etc and using the Naked Fusion for the coasters. These are the only two I e tried so far. I still have two gallons of each so I won’t be buying anymore until these are gone. I’ve been hearing from a lot of people that KS resin is good also. Not sure what their heat resistance is. I will say I’ve burned Naked Fusion before but never have Stone Coat. If you’re really careful not to burn the Naked Fusion is great as far as bubbles. There’s a resin that Kanella Ciraco uses (A Canadian Co.) that she loves but Is be Leary of trusting that. I believe my next purchase will be KS resin. I’m in the process of building a studio in my backyard and I’m going to resin my desk area like an ocean wave with the Stone Coat Art coat because it will be a thin layer. I may try and pour my coasters in thinner layers and pop as I go and see how well that works with the bubbles. I have 7 sets to make here in the next week for a Christmas gifts for my son so I’ll try doing those in layers and see how well that works. I’ll video them of course and give my thoughts that way.
@@GulfCoastArtbyJenny okay great to know. I will also report bacl what I find. Another awesome pour artist just reviewed KS Resin on her page and said it was heat resistance to 445 degrees and she tested it and it came out AMAZING. Her page is America's Abstract!
Garrick Brown Art Studio Yea I’m regretting now buying so much of the Naked and the Stone instead of buying the KS to try it. It will definitely be my next purchase.
Garrick Brown Art Studio Hey Garrick, I order Art resin, KS resin and Krystal resin yesterday so as soon as they all come in I will do a comparison video of those 3 side by side with the Naked Fusion and the Stone Coat. I’m excited about this!
Turned out beautifully! Thanks for sharing! What brand of resin you used? I'm a newbie and haven't bought any supplies yet. Do they have a strong odor?
I hate hairs in my nails from brushes 🤦🏻♀️😂 ajways a random hair hanging about in my desk my hair gets all over so it feel you there girl But these look beautiful

Is the step before silver glitter just clear resin?
What brand of resin do you use?
Very organic, my favorite to date! ARE THEY SMOOTH IN THE CENTERS?
Thank you so much!♥️ yes they are. I pour a very thin clear layer over the top once they were cured.
Yes, I have an electric nail drill and if a spot need it’s that’s what I use.

Elegant!! Thanks for sharing how to make these!! Can you tell how to make that border?? Did you use silver lead, that we use with glass painting??
It’s a silver gilding pen that I purchased on Amazon. By deco art. Broad tip.
how much resin mixture in one coaster?
Hi, that’s so pretty! 😍😍 Btw, may I know what brand is your torch gun?
How much resin did you use to make these coasters?
What kind of resin do you use? I can’t seem to find the right one.
Arnt you supposed to use a respirator for resin
I am a novice: Can I use standard glitter in the resin?
I don't recommend using a standard or heavy glitter. Use something more light like micro-glitter!
Hello! What kind of silver leaf did you use and did you mix it with something in the cup?
Hi! I used silver gilding flakes I purchased on Amazon and mixed them with the resin.
@@GulfCoastArtbyJenny Thank you!

Where do you buy your paper cups for cheap ?
I usually get them from my local Dollar Store!
@@GulfCoastArtbyJenny who is this.
