If you’re going to serve alcohol at these award shows don’t clutch your pearls when folks get drunk, I mean that’s why they serve booze isn’t it? They’re hoping a star will step over the ‘line’, it boosts their viewing figures doesn’t it? I mean, who would watch the golden globes if it wasn’t for Ricky, he tells it like it is, if anyone thinks that Ricky isn’t in control when presenting the globes, they are missing the the point of what Ricky is saying, so put you’re pearls down and enjoy the hypocrisy.

I think the actresses were mostly "poking fun" at the awards ceremony. I thought Emma Thompson was funny and mostly acting when she chose to throw her shoes away and keep the Martini in hand.
