The way Tiberio's eyes just light up as he talks about all these different types of breads makes you know that he takes his morning bread and coffee seriously. I dont think I've ever seen him this happy to explain things in a video before since thr Palettas episode!
I brought pan dulce to my husband’s family reunion in northern MN, and those people were so excited to eat it up! There’s a couple bakeries in Minneapolis from what I remember, but most of them never had any. My local bakery makes their pineapple empanadas with a flaky crust, and it’s so delish I usually get a box of mostly those
Conchas are the best when they are still so warm that when they put them in the paper bag for you they squish each other. Everyone should be so lucky to find a good Mexican panaderia, the kind that has a schedule for when their fresh bread gets taken out of the oven, has people waiting in lines that go out the door even when it’s pouring down rain, and has both good pan dulce and pan bolillo. Those are my favorite conchas and bolillos.
A lot of these breads look very similar to things we get in Malaysia and south east Asia as a whole. Love to see that no matter where we are in the world, we all have a connection in one way or another. And I mean, who doesn’t love bread?!
Love to see Paco, and I'm happy we have the original two to keep it familiar but WOW.. Seeing this, it's safe to say that Arturo really keeps the energy and content of these videos rolling. Please keep him in future videos
I have to be picky with anything sweet but for pan dulce, hands down, I will not turn down a concha 😂 With hot coffee, chocolate, tea, milk... that ish is a comfort trip. You know when you watched your grandparents dip their bread or cookies in their coffee and suddenly you want some of it? That feeling is universal. 🇵🇭
Cochinitos are my favorite!! Then empanadas de piña and lastly the calabasa empanadas. The calabasa empanadas taste exactly if not almost to pumpkin pie
Rare to find mexicans who dislike mexican bread and coffee. Last night 12am we had family over had coffee pot full blast cold wearher coffee bread ❤ yeahh i love our culture
have a small Mexican grocer practically just down the road, and occasionally I'll go there to buy some of the Mexican pastries. I always get a churro, maybe an empanada.
Me either and the only place I’d have access is the international market about ten minutes away. But the way these videos talk about them they’re better coming from a bakery, not the pre-packaged kind they have at that market.
I don’t understand why there’s so much hate for the puercito, it’s personally in my top 3. I don’t think people have tried a good bakery that makes them yummy because they are seriously delicious! I think they’re good because they’re not that sweet.
Agreed, and I’ll take it even a step further and say that concha’s as overrated. They’re almost always too dense and dry. I’ll take a puercito or empanada de calabasa any day over conchas
Never knew its was bread i live in heavy Mexican neighborhood and alway got these damn they pretty dried and stale sometimes saying it bread make whole alot of since in my mind i think its cake and its gonna be like dessert don't get me wrong taste amazing but eat this and cup hot chocolate while watching tv u going straight to sleeep ..😂jajaa
@@LA-oh6ciI doubt Arturo is even mexican, he seems to have been born and raised in the United States to mexican parents, the others seem to actually be mexican

Puerquitos, we all think you need to step up your game. They never taste quite the same as our childhood memories.
They still fire tho
They’re good regardless. You just gotta find a good panadería.
