Happy New Year skif! Mr. Goalie was a little before my time, but Tony-O was THE Man in the 70's when the Hawks were must see TV on WGN. His saves were breathtaking to behold. As is Mrs. Esposito that night! WOW! Thank you for posting!

I was at the game. The ceremony was nice, but the Blackhawks got beat 7-4.

Commentators are the Canucks broadcast team, Jim Robson and Gary Monahan.

Nice of the Canucks to participate and broadcast the ceremony and also 0:56 nice to see (briefly) former teammate Tony Tanti and veteran Harold Snepsts acknowledge Tony Esposito, and vice versa.

I think other than the two guests of honor, Tommy Ivan and Phil Esposito were the only ones that were introduced who were predominantly cheered. This clip didn't show it, but John Ziegler was introduced just before Eagleson and was mostly booed, too.
