I came here after reading the directions for doing this on a certain company's website (starts with "cri" and ends in "cut"). Your directions are so clear and helpful, and every part of this video is useful (no filler here!). Thank you for helping me finish my first HTV item!
Still saving up for heat press so these tips are really awesome - only got my Cameo 4 two months ago and have learnt all I know so far from your videos
This was immensely helpful! I need to iron on my business logo to the corner of a table cloth for my first event and can't afford a heat press yet (we do resin jewelry) so thank you!❤
thank you for giving me an answer to the question I had about what went wrong with my vinyl work I had done at my usually great sewing shop. the designs cost me 10 a piece and I had 8 put on - down to last 4 now - but also I had some uniforms fatigues that were hard to come by that I was restoring to my original uniforms - and my thought of course well they did it wrong but I didn't raise a ruckus - they are nice people - but here is the deal - the mystery solved - they are all Vietnamese Ladies - not one of them weighs over 100lbs - so ya there wasn't much pressing going on there in the back room - this would probably be a two person job for them in some kind of bizarre piggy back configuration to get that press done right. so my thank you is I will now be able to save two sweat shirts they did (plus I still got two designs that never got used - plus I can redo the 5 fatigue shirts that I didn't even wash or wear until I figured things out - which you helped me do.. good video
I couldn’t stand my Cricut heat press. Would there be a press that you’d recommend that wouldn’t break the bank? I see a lot of Amazon but I trust your recommendation. 🤪
We have a video on Heat Presses here: ruclips.net/video/7pMNDa7FbC0/видео.html Becky commented on that video: "The one I used in the video is the HPN Signature Series 15" x 15" Auto-Open Slide-Out Drawer. I would check out their other models though, they have come out with "new" presses with similar features. Hope this helps!"
Thank you! I was needing this info how does it look if I use an ironing board? I am new at this. and I have been DIYing for my Wedding projects robes satin polyester which I have never done any of this before. Any suggestions if i don't have a heat protected surface? can i use lol my picnic table as the hard surface with a towel over it? or would that set off the balance of the satin when putting pressure? Thanks for your help ahead of time!
Hello Becky! I have an easy press but looking at purchasing a heat press under $500...but really wanting a 16x20 so I can have options for larger projects. Would you be able to recommend something?

Hi there! One thing I would suggest is to use the hard outside surface with the towel to protect your clothes and your table! - Dawn 🙂

What are you using to cover the item before pressing?
It is butcher paper, however with HTV you do not need to use butcher paper unless you want to.
@@DesignBundles ok, thank you!! Good to know. I wasn't sure if I should cover before pressing.
@@smellyrhinostudio You don't need to since HTV has the clear sheet. 😊
@@DesignBundles :) thanks!
